Chapter 10 - Goblin Netherbone Set

Just like that, he walked towards the Goblin camp while farming Goblin Warriors.

During this time, Lucien even dropped two pieces of silver equipment and five pieces of bronze equipment.

After about an hour, he finally arrived at the Goblin camp.

Looking at the Goblin camp not far away, Lucien did not rush in rashly.

Instead, he first observed from a distance to see how many monsters were inside the Goblin camp.

After counting carefully, there were a total of twenty Goblin Warriors and fifteen Goblin Mages.

Goblin Mage [Hell]

Level: 6

HP: 3000

Magic Attack: 500

Magic/Physical Defense: 50

Skills: Fireball Technique, Wind Blade.

Introduction: Mages among the Goblin race, eroded by demonic energy, becoming extremely irritable.

Very extreme attributes, just like the Mages among players.

High attack, low defense, and low HP; Lucien liked this type of monster very much.

With Lucien's current magic attack power, he only needed six hits to kill a Goblin Mage.

Moreover, thanks to the necklace's buff, Lucien's magic resistance was now a full three hundred points.

Even if the opponent used a skill, it would cause at most three hundred damage to him.

With his current three thousand HP, he could withstand a full ten attacks from the opponent.

However, he wouldn't be foolish enough to stand and trade blows with the Goblin Mages.

He still had the Goblin Warrior; wouldn't it be better to let the Goblin Warrior serve as a meat shield?

But the trouble now was that there were a total of thirty-five monsters here.

If he were surrounded, he simply wouldn't be able to withstand the attacks of over thirty monsters.

It seemed he could only lure the monsters and kill them off to the side.

Lucien watched the monsters in the Goblin camp while crafting talismans.

Finally, after waiting for a full three minutes, a Goblin Warrior walked to the edge.

He raised his hand and a Soul Fire Talisman flew towards the Goblin Warrior.

Before the Goblin Warrior could react, the Soul Fire Talisman struck him.

The Goblin Warrior looked in the direction from which the Soul Fire Talisman had come, just in time to see Lucien hiding in the bushes not far away.

It then rushed quickly towards Lucien, and upon approaching him, immediately raised the club in its hand.

With a block, he parried the Goblin Warrior's attack and retreated directly.

It wasn't that he couldn't beat the Goblin Warrior, but rather that he was too close to the camp.

If he were discovered by other monsters, it wouldn't be fun.

I'm afraid by then, he would have to give up his first blood.

The foolish Goblin Warrior kept following Lucien.

They soon reached a safe area, and after confirming that the battle here wouldn't be disturbed by other monsters, he summoned the Goblin Warrior to counterattack.

-400, -389, -440. The damage dealt varied depending on the point of attack.

Accompanied by the strings of damage numbers, the Goblin Warrior finally fell.

He checked the dropped items, found nothing he needed, and repeated the previous operation to lure more monsters.

It took Lucien nearly an hour to finish off all twenty Goblin Warriors.

Next, only the last fifteen Goblin Mages remained.

However, seeing that the Goblin Warrior he had summoned had also disappeared because its summoning time had expired, Lucien did not rush forward to farm monsters.

He had to ensure his own safety as much as possible.

First, the death penalty in the game was too severe.

Second, it was a matter of habit; once one developed a fearless habit in the game, if that habit were brought into reality, it could cost lives.

When monsters invaded reality, many players fell forever because of this reason.

They thought they could respawn in reality just like in the game.

He didn't want to put himself in danger because of his own carelessness.

There was still an hour of cooldown time, which naturally couldn't be wasted.

He took out the equipment that had just dropped and began to examine it.

Goblin Netherbone Helmet [Unidentified]

Grade: silver equipment

"Insight Skill"

"Congratulations, identification successful."

Goblin Netherbone Helmet

Equipment Level: 5

Critical Hit Rate +5%

Physical/Magic Defense +30

HP +500

Equipment Effect: HP Recovery Effect +30%

Set Attribute: Collect three pieces of the Goblin Netherbone series to gain a 30% HP bonus.

When you possess six pieces of the Goblin Netherbone series, there is a certain percentage chance to summon a Goblin Mage when casting skills. [Only one Goblin Mage can exist at a time.]

Very good attributes, especially the critical hit rate bonus, which was exactly what he was lacking now.

It could greatly increase his output.

Although it was only a 5% chance, he had had zero critical hit rate before, so naturally his attacks couldn't trigger critical hits.

Now that he had equipment that increased critical hits, plus his current 23 points of Luck.

Then his critical hit rate would definitely not be 5%.

One point of Luck increased critical hit rate by 1%, so he now effectively had a 28% critical hit rate.

Of course, it also depended on how much Luck the opponent had.

The opponent's Luck could offset the critical hit bonus brought by Luck.

As for that HP recovery effect, it was just okay, not very useful.

If it had increased the recovery skill by 30%, that would be perfect.

Moreover, he already had two pieces of the Goblin Netherbone series equipment; if he got just one more, his HP would increase by 30%.

Next was another piece of silver equipment.

He equipped both pieces of gear.

"Ding, you have activated Set Attribute 1, HP increased by 30%."

As for the remaining bronze equipment, Lucien didn't even bother to look at it.

There was a world of difference between the attributes of bronze equipment and silver equipment.

Looking at that HP of over three thousand, even Lucien felt a bit dizzy.

I'm afraid even a Warrior who added all points to Stamina wouldn't have as much HP as him!

This silver equipment set was simply too overpowered.

But the added magic attack was a bit low.

His current magic attack was still less than four hundred.

He just didn't know what the effect would be once he collected the full six-piece set.

The most important thing was that there were too few people who possessed silver equipment right now.

This game had been open for five years, but those who possessed silver equipment were few and far between.

Let alone a set; the rarity of a set was no worse than gold equipment.

Even in his previous life, after roaming the game for ten years, Lucien had only possessed a single piece of gold equipment.
