"The day I go to my death is today!"
Olaf was very happy. He was finally going to die.
And not peacefully in bed, but in a glorious war against the Void.
How could a situation like this not make a berserker's blood boil?
"Nom nom nom..."
Cho'Gath chewed the things in his mouth with satisfaction.
After coming out of the abyss, the things he had eaten did not really fill his stomach, but he had already seen what he wanted to eat.
Those two things that were only about two sizes smaller than him would definitely be enough for him to eat for a long time.
And those shining so brightly in his eyes, after eating them, not only would he recover the strength he had lost during all those years under the ice, his power would grow even further.
His body would as well.
First living things, then nonliving things, and then planes.
Cho'Gath would continue like this until, in the end, he became the only Void creature, and the strongest one.
But his fantasy did not last long. Mecha Malphite and the Monolith attacked almost at the same time, pinning him down and preventing him from taking even one more step forward.
"It seems you are destined to stand in my way."
Cho'Gath revealed a smile so ugly it could hardly be called a smile, but what came next was not only these two creations, but also a joint attack from the three demigods of this region.
"I am the storm!"
Amid thunder that seemed to fill heaven and earth, Volibear's body grew even larger. He leapt high into the air and crashed down toward Cho'Gath.
Ornn took out a horn and blew it hard.
From far away, a massive ram came charging over.
Compared to her two brothers, Anivia's movement was much quieter.
She simply flapped her wings, and a great storm of True Ice enveloped Cho'Gath.
A thick layer of frost formed over his surface.
Yet Cho'Gath stomped down with one huge foot. The ground shook, and spikes that appeared from nowhere knocked Ornn into the air.
Not only was Caleb shocked, Ornn himself was shocked too. It had been a very long time since he had seen a creature capable of knocking him up.
Across all those long ages, he had only been sent flying into the air a few times.
In those few short seconds, the charging ram spirit missed Ornn just like that.
Immediately after, Cho'Gath let out a piercing scream. The massive sonic attack forced everyone to cover their ears for a moment.
Anivia was also within range, so that frost and snow only clung to Cho'Gath's outer shell.
Looking at Volibear, whose entire body was crackling with lightning, Cho'Gath instantly tangled with him in close combat.
Every one of Volibear's strikes carried chain lightning, spreading across the bodies of the Void creatures.
And each of Cho'Gath's attacks carried sharp spikes, constantly scattering them across the battlefield.
Cries of pain rose one after another. They all came from the Iceborn.
Caleb also knew that those he had brought were all elites and would not fall on the battlefield so quickly.
But the warriors facing those "little bugs" were using flesh and courage to resist monsters.
Even though Soraka had already cast one blessing, Caleb could tell that if they did not deal with Cho'Gath and allowed their high-end combat power to stay pinned down, it was hard to say whether this battle could be won, but at the very least, the Void would be able to break free as it wished.
That was exactly what Caleb was extremely unwilling to see.
When the time came, they would hide amid the wind and snow. Eating was only a desire for them, not a need.
How would Caleb be able to go deal with Icathia and the area around Mount Targon with peace of mind after that?
Not to mention that the Shadow Isles, strictly speaking, had already fallen.
Caleb had set up Noxus before, and the other side was definitely holding in resentment.
Once Caleb finished dealing with the Shadow Isles, Noxus might very well raise the entire strength of the nation and come fight him to the death.
Right now, one mecha and Malphite were both being held back by the Terror of the Void, and the same was true for the three demigods.
Caleb looked at Atreus and Diana, who seemed to be tearing through the Balestriders with unmatched force, and could not help shaking his head.
Speaking of which, where was Aatrox?
Only then did Caleb realize something was wrong. After Aatrox had gone down with him, he had not come back up at all.
There was no time to worry about him. In any case, he was one of the strongest Ascended. Although he was now a Darkin, his strength was still more than enough.
One important reason Aatrox could not be underestimated was that no matter whether it was mortals, Ascended, Baccai, demigods, or Aspects, he had fought them all.
Such rich real combat experience allowed Aatrox to almost instantly find an enemy's weakness.
Presumably, the most powerful Aspect of War, Pantheon, had simply been careless for a moment and failed to dodge.
As a result, Aatrox had stabbed him straight into the dark constellation with one sword.
Caleb gritted his teeth and advanced together with Kai'Sa.
He could not fire a second The Skies Descend. That thing's cooldown was outrageously long, or perhaps it was because Caleb himself was a mortal.
However, he still had another skill. Since this guy's combat instincts were so strong, then Caleb would seal his actions completely.
Void power surfaced in Caleb's hand, startling even Kai'Sa.
When had he gained such powerful Void energy?
"Everyone! Focus fire on him!"
Caleb's words were simple and efficient. Although Ornn and Volibear hesitated slightly, they still obeyed this human's words.
The horn sounded again, and the ram spirit came charging from the distance.
Countless Void creatures were trampled to death along the way, while the allies were completely unharmed.
"What use is this?"
Cho'Gath smiled disdainfully. Volibear in front of him was already covered in wounds.
"The wounds on your body will only grow more numerous."
Cho'Gath had not been idle over these years. If he had been given just a little more time, even these few joining hands would not have been worth taking seriously in his eyes.
The two enormous beings controlling him and keeping him from entering the main battlefield were also using all their strength.
In the cockpit, Jayce's face was twisted with effort. He did not know whether he could still return and see Mel one more time.
But from the bottom of his heart, Jayce agreed with Caleb's decision when it came to a monster like this. It was better to exterminate it in the Freljord than in the twin cities.
Cho'Gath originally wanted to use the same trick again, after all, Anivia had begun flapping her wings once more.
The combined attack of three demigods still brought him some pressure.
"What is one more scar among thousands?"
Volibear roared, and every Ursine present also had their beast blood surge at the same time.
As one side rose and the other fell, the Void's momentum weakened slightly instead.
One had to know that the Void creatures were the ones truly unafraid of death, and they did not need food either.
But under the actions of the three gods, the fighting spirit of the Iceborn and Spirit Walkers soared higher than ever.
Bristle was rampaging through the battlefield, while Ashe repeated the process of drawing her bow and nocking arrows again and again.
Just as Cho'Gath was about to stomp the ground again, a beam of light from far away locked onto him, then suppressed him.
"Ram!"
Caleb's face did not look good either, but since he had suppressed Cho'Gath, it meant his Nether Grasp was effective.
With a metallic crash, the ram spirit charged toward Cho'Gath once more.
This time, the monster known as the Terror of the Void was knocked high into the sky.
