"Who are you?!" Aozaki Touko looked at the suddenly appearing Asagami Fujino. Because the change was too drastic, Tohko didn't recognize her at all, but upon seeing Jibril, she realized that the young woman before her was that little girl from before.
The change was far too great, wasn't it?! Aozaki Touko's eye twitched as she looked at Asagami Fujino, who had become a young woman. "What's going on with you?"
"I've just recovered some of my strength," Asagami Fujino replied, simply following the setting the system had given Jibril; there wasn't much difference anyway.
"Is that so?" Aozaki Touko didn't dwell on it and continued, "That energy burst from before was caused by you two, right?"
"You all noticed it?" Asagami Fujino was somewhat surprised. She was in the desert, yet she hadn't expected Aozaki Touko to be able to sense it.
"Otherwise?" Aozaki Touko said with a helpless look. "You're too terrifying. That energy was so powerful that any Magus would find it difficult not to notice. At first, I thought the Age of Gods had descended."
"That sort of thing doesn't matter to me," Asagami Fujino said casually, then looked at Aozaki Touko. "Since you've already helped me open my Magic Circuit, I will pay your reward. Tomorrow, I will teach you the ability to hear the voices of others' hearts."
"Then I thank Your Excellency," Aozaki Touko said respectfully, feeling a sense of relief. She had originally thought that after helping Asagami Fujino open her Magic Circuit, she would lose her utility and be killed. Especially after witnessing that power—even from a distance, Tohko could feel its terror—and that was only a fraction of Asagami Fujino's power after some recovery. Tohko really couldn't believe just how much power the young woman before her possessed.
"Master, I want to learn too." Beside her, Jibril tightly hugged Asagami Fujino's arm, burying it deep within the softness of her chest, her eyes sparkling.
"Alright." Since they were on the same side, Asagami Fujino had no reason to refuse.
"By the way, there's no need to call me Your Excellency." Asagami Fujino looked at Aozaki Touko and said, "My name is Asagami Fujino. From now on, you can just call me Sister Fujino. If you want to call me teacher, that's fine too."
"Alright, Sister Fujino," Aozaki Touko called out immediately. She thought this was a great way to cling to a powerful benefactor, having decided to latch onto a powerhouse like Asagami Fujino.
Aozaki Touko then thought of something and looked at Asagami Fujino in surprise. "Sister Fujino, are you a member of the Asagami family?!"
Aozaki Touko was familiar with the Four Demon Hunter Families. Although she didn't know the details well, she knew some things, such as the declined Asagami clan and its branch family, the Asagami.
"Sort of," Asagami Fujino nodded. "But not anymore. Everyone in the Asagami family should be dead by now."
"Is that so." Aozaki Touko understood; it seemed that no one from the so-called Asagami family was left alive.
"Alright, I'm going to rest." Asagami Fujino patted Jibril to signal her to let go, then sat in a chair and closed her eyes. Aozaki Touko and Jibril didn't disturb her, each going about their own business. Jibril asked Tohko for advice on the magic of this world, and Tohko also asked Jibril for some knowledge.
Sitting in the chair, Asagami Fujino contacted the system. "System, what's going on? Why did the Cosmic Dragon King discover the space rift!?"
She had previously received a message from the system saying that the Cosmic Dragon King had discovered this space rift and wanted to enter this world through it. This was the reason Asagami Fujino had hurried away with Jibril.
Asagami Fujino was well aware of the Cosmic Dragon King's power. In her previous world, she had looked up information on him—the great existence who created the stars.
Cosmic Dragon King, Aurelion Sol, an ancient existence in the league of legends universe, existed long before the remnants of nebulae gathered to form thousands of worlds. Since his birth at the dawn of time, he has roamed the boundless universe, seeking the magnificent brilliance scattered in the vast deep space to paint his eternal, sweeping skies.
In the league of legends universe, Aurelion Sol never met any existence that could stand as his peer. As the universe gradually flourished, many newly awakened consciousnesses began to look up at the heavens, marveling at his creations and falling into breathless contemplation. Countless worlds worshipped him, and these fledgling civilizations, based on his stars, depicted many arrogant and ridiculous theories and philosophies, which he found quite amusing.
Among all living beings, only a few types could be recognized by him. For deeper contact, he chose the race with the greatest ambition and descended personally before them—this race was the Targon!
In the time to come, the Giants forged a magnificent crown made of star-gems for Aurelion Sol, but this was the beginning of a grand conspiracy by the Giants.
A powerful magic was placed within the magnificent crown by the Giants. They used this magic to control Aurelion Sol, utilizing his supreme might to build a majestic empire for themselves that spanned across star systems.
However, Asagami Fujino knew that Aurelion Sol actually had the ability to break free from the Giants' magic. But Aurelion Sol discovered that every time he attacked his new masters, one of the stars in the sky would permanently crumble into ash. To avoid destroying the stars he had created, Aurelion Sol had no choice but to be controlled by the Giants.
Moreover, the system informed Asagami Fujino that the Dragon King at this time was not yet the Cosmic Dragon King controlled by the Giants. If Aurelion Sol came to this world through the space rift, it was hard to imagine what kind of scene it would be.
"System, I need an explanation." Asagami Fujino was also somewhat angry.
"This was an error on the system's part, but please rest assured, Host. This system has closed the space rift, and Aurelion Sol cannot come to this world." The system's synthesized electronic voice sounded. "To compensate the Host, the system has prepared a compensation, which the Host can collect at any time."
"Fine." Hearing that Aurelion Sol would not be coming to this world, Asagami Fujino breathed a sigh of relief. Without asking what the so-called compensation was, she asked a question she was more concerned about: "Why did Aurelion Sol discover the space rift?"
"To the Host: As an ancient existence in the league of legends universe, it is normal to be discovered since the system's current level is low. However, the Host can rest assured that after this incident, the system has automatically performed an upgrade, and this will not happen again," the system replied.
"Level?" Asagami Fujino asked again.
"The Host's current authority is insufficient. Authority can be opened after the Host goes to the next world and upgrades the system," the system replied.
"Is that so..." Asagami Fujino stopped dwelling on this issue. What she needed to know, she would eventually know. At least Asagami Fujino now knew that the system in her head would not harm her.
"Does the Host accept this compensation? Since this compensation is quite special, please enter the system space."
