That night Daniel had two strange dreams in a row the first was of him as a
young man in his early 20s, a Frenchman living in northern France as Prussian
soldiers invaded his family's home. The young Frenchman began his day by
reading his copy of the Holy Bible and when he heard the firing of Prussian soldiers he told his family to leave as he fired shots back at the Prussians in the end he took down two or three Prussian troops but the Prussians won the day ending
his life. The second dream was once again of him as a Frenchman but at a previous
time in the 19 th century this time in the year 1812. It was during Napoleon's failed
invasion of Russia and the French Grande Army's retreat from Moscow during the
Russian Winter. He was one of the poor Russian soldiers freezing to death as the
French army was constantly harassed by Cossacks and Russian-Peasants. Finally
his body shut down and he dropped to the snow freezing to death, along with
thousands of his fellow countrymen. The third dream was of him as a Tangut
Buddhist monk in a Buddhist monastery in the Tangut Empire. It was during
Genghis Khan's final campaign in the year of his death in 1227 being the Mongol
invasion of the Tangut Empire in 1227 C.E. As a young Buddhist monk he tried to
defend the Monastery from the Mongol invaders but was cut down by Mongol
swords as the Buddhist monastery was burned to the ground along with the rest of
the Tangut civilization. And finally in his last dream or vision he was a Greek
soldier in the army of Alexander the Great as they routed the army of the Persian
Emperor Darius III. Witnessing the sheer horror of the Persian troops fleeing from
the victorious Greeks and Macedonians and then the last of the four dreams ended.
But what could these dreams mean? Was there even a meaning behind them?
Ungar, Daniel, Zaiyal, Sarai, Narcis, Tatu and Sun-Wukong Jr. began to
travel beyond the borders of the Bug Kingdom ending up in a village of spirits
from Ancient Chinese human beings who lived in fear of a powerful water demon Goron the Terrible. Every year Goron asked the villagers for one Virgin woman
that he ate to make him into a stronger demon. Ungar was the first to meet with the
Village Elder Ho-Nam who told the 7 heroes about Goron and the fact that nearly
all of the virgins in the village had been given to Goron with the exception of
Ho-Nam's Daughter Chi-Lao. "Why on Earth are we helping these people? We
have to destroy Zeal. This is all just a waste of time!" said Tatu. "Why is it a waste
of time?! Oh it must be because you're some kind of coward. I would think with that
high power level you wouldn't be afraid of anything but I guess your just a little
incest after all!" said Zaiyal. "What did you say to me Monkey?!
Do you have a death wish?!" said Tatu. "No I don't have a death wish I just
have a spine. I guess it's a luxury I take for granted not being an invertebrate like
you." Said Zaiyal. "You scum!" said Tatu. Ungar grew tired of Zaiyal and Tatu's
nonsense. "ENOUGH! You two are really starting to piss me off. Zaiyal I know
you're better than this and Tatu I'm only letting you live out of the kindness of my
heart. If I wanted to, I could end your life, Wasp!" said Ungar. "Oh is that a fact?"
said Tatu. "Yes it is." Said Ungar. "Here's a wonderful idea about Ungar and the
Insect fight and whoever wins will lead the team assuming Ungar would put that on
the line." Said Zaiyal. "Sure it would be my pleasure let's get this over with so we
can help these people with their demon problem." Said Ungar. It was agreed that
they would fight each other and enter the old arena where Ungar and Tatu faced off against each other. "Are you ready to die, Warlock? I'll try to make it swift." Said
Tatu. "You can try, I welcome it." Said Ungar. Both of them got into battle
positions and when the chief Ho-Nam called out to begin the fight Ungar and
Tatu. Ungar and Tatu charged each other and from the very beginning Tatu was
immediately on the offensive resorting to using his Leaf Blade which summoned
the power of the wind at first and at first at least it seemed to work and it seemed
that Ungar was knocked outside of the arena which brang a smile to Tatu's face but
Ungar simply teleported behind him and kicked Tatu in the back knocking him into
wall and following that up with a punch to the gut and Ungar's first special attack.
"Dark Beam!" After saying this a massive beam of dark energy shot from Ungar's
finger causing a massive explosion as Ungar's black cape fluttered in the wind. But
out of the smoke appeared Tatu who used his Hornet Strike to knock Ungar back
which the Warlock countered with "Dark Beam Cannon!" After announcing this
attack Ungar shot a larger dark energy attack at Tatu which actually hit the Insect
warrior and seemed to greatly injure him but nonetheless Tatu continued to fight on
where Ungar used his final beam attack; "Ultra Dark Cannon!" This attack
seemed to be effective, launching a giant blast of dark energy that seemed like it
might bring down the entire stadium.
But Tatu resisted so Ungar used his ultimate attack. "Event Horizon!"
Ungar used his Event Horizon attack which slowed down time for anyone the
energy blast hit which in this case was Tatu and then Ungar launched a flurry of
attacks which brought Tatu down once and for all. Tatu plunged into the Earth and
began to cough up blood. "Who is this guy? He brushed off all of my attacks like
they were nothing and made the great warrior Tatu look like nothing. Who is he?
What is he? Where did he achieve this power?!" thought Tatu. Ungar landed on the
ground and witnessed Tatu pass out. "Chief, do you have any kind of medicine
service?" Said Ungar. "We do." Said Chief Ho-Nam. "Please take him and bring
him back to health. In the meantime while he heals the rest of us will head to the
Waterfall to confront this monster." Said Ungar. "I have a better idea, let's get
someone to dress like the Chief's Daughter so we can sneak into Goron's lair. I
think either Narcis or Zaiyal should do the honors." Said Daniel. "How dare you
elf! I'm not going to dress as some helpless woman. How would I ever live that
down?!" said Zaiyal. "I'll do it. I'll volunteer to play the role of the maiden and
trick Lord Goron." Said Narcis. "Then it's settled, let's all get to work." Said Ungar. Meanwhile, Sun-Wukong the Monkey King, Pigsy and Sandy united once
again this time to meet with the Jade Emperor in the Celestial Realm as well as
the famed Chinese philosopher Confucius to retrieve an ancient powerful weapon known as the Blade of Heaven which could only be wielded by a God or another
Celestial-Being. First they had to meet with their old friend the Chinese Buddhist
monk Tripitaka who now lived in a place called the Celestial Buddhist
Monastery in the Spirit Realm. Tripitaka was an old friend of the Slug Man who
was of course a Taoist as Tripitaka the Buddhist had known many Taoists as well
as Christians, Magians, Hindus and people of other faiths for example and
befriended the Slug Man and many other beings. He was considered the wisest of
all Buddhists after only the Buddha himself. Sun-Wukong, Pigsy and Sandy arrived
at the Celestial Buddhist Monastery and all three landed on there flying clouds in
the temple people of all faiths and races were allowed in as the only rule was there
all guests had to be peaceful and there was to be no bloodshed at the Monastery.
Monkey surprised Tripitaka with his arrival as well as Pigsy and Sandy. He
explained that they were to go on a new grand adventure that would not be as grand
but probably more important than retrieving sacred Buddhist texts or sutras from
India. After a long explanation Tripitaka agreed to come along and the whole team
was back; Sun-Wukong the Monkey King, Tripitaka, Pigsy and Sandy. They
were now on a new journey to the West to meet with the Jade Emperor and
Confucius and retrieve the Blade of Heaven.
To help Daniel defeat Iblis there was a
prophecy that if the Blade of Heaven was touched by the Spirit Blade they would form one Blade; The Celestial Blade. So the four headed off on different Flying
Cloud Clouds of their own leaving the Celestial Buddhist Monastery which resided
in the sky and headed to the City of Trangula in the Empire of the Pig Demons,
Pigsy's people (sort of).
Meanwhile... in an airship above the Spirit Realm the Dark Lord Zeal
prepared a long speech for the Izadoran Warlord Zagros. "Zagros, this is your one
and only chance. If you fail you will be sent back to the bowels of Hell but if you
succeed you will be rewarded Wolf. If you fail I'll send Emperor Taipei after those
rats. I trust that you won't fail." Said Zeal. "I won't fail you Lord Zeal, I will return
in triumph!" said Zagros. After Zagros left the room Zeal began to speak to
Agitha. "Agitha. The Monkey King, The Monk and their Little Friends are headed
to the Celestial Kingdom of the Jade Emperor in search of the Blade of Heaven. I
understand that you know they need to be stopped. Do everything in your power to
stop them from obtaining the blade if you fail the reign of Lord Iblis could be in
jeopardy." Said Zeal. "I understand Lord Zeal. It's been a while since I sent beings
to kill someone as powerful as the Monkey King but I'm sure it can be done. I'll
send my first warriors the Mercenary Force known as The Dark Tao. They will
make quick work of Monkey and his little friends." Said Agitha.
"Excellent... then it's only a matter of time before Lord Iblis is awakened and this
entire chaotic world can be reborn under a new order," said Lord Zeal.
Meanwhile... The heroes waited for the Water Demon Goron to arrive and
had Narcis prepared in a dress, dressed as a woman. "This idea is ridiculous. Do
you really think this Demon will think Narcis is a woman?!" said Zaiyal. "I do
Zaiyal. Come on, have a little faith." Said Daniel. "Ha! Faith in one of your plans?
Maybe when hell freezes over." Said Zaiyal. The crowd began to clammer as the
water demon approached. "There he is the monster!" "Ah he's gonna take
everything from us!" said the peasants. As he walked the Water Demon Goron
caused water to gush everyone in effect causing small floods which forced
Sun-Wukong Jr. to use his Cloud Cloud to fly to higher ground so he would not get
his fur wet. Goron was a being that looked like a fish was light blue with aqua
marine scales and had sharp and large yellow teeth. "HAHAHA!!!!! Is this your
daughter Chief Ho-Nam? She is quite beautiful. She will make a wonderful meal. I
never get tired of the sweet meat of virgin maidens hahahahaha!!!!!" said Goron.
Soon Goron began to march back to the cave with Narcis in drag. Daniel explained
that this strategy was ingenious and he remembered the Norse God of Thunder,
Thor dressing as a woman to seduce an Ice Giant so he could kill him and retrieve
his hammer. Lucky for our heroes it worked. And the other five heroes with the
exception of Tatu who was recovering in the village hospital. But only two of the
fighters would enter the cave; it was decided that Ungar and Jr. would fill that roll heading into the cave of Water Demon Goron after the Demon and Narcis. In the
cave Goron began to prepare his meal which was of course going to be Narcis.
During this Ungar and Jr. began to sneak in behind Goron and as Goron was about
to throw Narcis into the fire, Narcis threw off the dress and revealed himself with
Ungar and Jr. appearing alongside him. "What if you're not the maiden, the Chief's
daughter! You're a man!" said Goron. "That's right! And this is going to be your
last meal monster." Said Narcis.
The two sides continued to argue until finally the
fight began but Goron was no match for the three heroes and they defeated the
water demon freeing the maidens from his gut who was returned to the village and
Goron was made to apologize to the people who accepted him as one of their own.
Around this time Tatu woke up and the seven heroes left the village on their way to
retrieve the Spirit Blade as their journey continued.
