During the beginning of their trek to find and meet with Merlin as requested
by the Caterpillar the first one to ask a question was actually Luna and her question
was to Ungar and what he was. 'So, what are you exactly?' said Luna. 'I'm a
Gettling a being whos' soul has been attached to a physical being in this case this
suit of armor.' Said Ungar. 'Well how did you end up like this?' said Luna. 'Have
you heard of the Indian religion, Hinduism? Do you know about their concept of
reincarnation? Well more or less that's how I came into being.' Said Ungar. 'She isn't bothering you is she Wizard?' said Tatu. 'No, it's all fine.' Said Ungar. 'Very
well than.' Said Tatu. 'Wait why do you care if she was bothering him?' said
Daniel. 'I'm just trying to make sure she learns good manners I've been doing that
with her over the last three years.' Said Tatu. 'Wow look who's the Soccer-Mom
now!' said Daniel. Everyone started to laugh. 'You won't be laughing when I
conquer this world.' Said Tatu under his breath. For much of the trek through the
fields of the Kingdom of Yardrat the attitude was somber as all in the group were
concerned about marauding demons. On their way Ungar noticed something
nearby it was something large he cautioned everyone to stop moving. In an instant
the ground began to shake and out of the dirt of a large swamp appeared a giant
reptile. Ungar explained that this was the Questing Beast a giant species of monster
whom one of which was killed by King Arthur's Knight thousands of years ago.
Tatu jumped into the fold; 'Well if we all have to take on this beast, then just don't
get in my way.' Said Tatu. All of the rushed into battle as the beast swung its
massive tail towards them and was making a concerted effort to kill them. The
beast began to spit out smaller monsters that were like humanoid reptiles with
incredible power each of the fighters had to take on at least a few of these monsters
but before they knew it there was an army. The Demons were right every monster
and demon in this world would be going after them and now an army of reptilian
humans was upon them that the beast spat from eggs from its mouth.
'Alright it's time to show these beasts the power of the Wasp Prince.' Said Tatu. Tatu launched
himself into battle knocking the reptilian monsters around everywhere. Many of
them began to screech in pain the infamous villain cackled with ecstasy and glee at
the pain of the reptilians. 'Yeahahahaha! None of you have a prayer you're as good
as dead!' said Tatu. 'Try this on for size!' said Tatu. Tatu launched an enormous
wave of energy at an entire horde of the beasts. 'Yeahahahaha! You don't have a
chance in hell at beating me!' said Tatu. Everyone was shocked with the power
that Tatu had acquired except for Luna who was fully aware of how powerful Tatu
had become but when it seemed like he was about to blast himself through the
glass ceiling everything came crashing down when the beast knocked Tatu onto the
ground with his tail. Tatu laid there motionless he couldn't move. Luna ran to save
him and Ungar announced that it was his turn to bring the beast to heel. Ungar
made it clear however that he needed the help of Daniel, Aquarius, Mencius and
Oliver in order to take down this massive beast. So, they agreed to aid the wizard
and all five of them leaped into battle. Ungar opened the fight with his Dark Ray
attack shooting dozens of projectiles of dark energy straight at the beast which only
seemed to slow it down only a little bit. Daniel and Oliver both hit the beast with
energy blasts but this seemed to do very little meanwhile after Ungar got knocked
back Athena used her healing magic to heal Ungar's stamina. 'Thanks Athena.'
Said Ungar. Ungar used his Eclipse Cannon which left a giant hole through the
beasts left cheek. Next up was Oliver who used a series of lightning-fast energy
blasts which all seemingly missed the beast but launched them together at the same
time at the monster creating a massive explosion. And then next up was Mencius
who used his Earth Magic to conjure up trees and other vegetation to trap the beast
after this Daniel used his Buddhist Palm that he learned from the Monkey King to
knock the wind out of the creature. And finally, Ungar launched his Cosmic Blast
and it seemed to all be over. But the beast was still alive in fact it began to laugh.
"Hahahahahahahaha! You all really are pathetic!" said the creature. The creature
shrunk into a smaller reptilian being but was now emanating with power. 'This
should be a piece of cake.' Said the creature. 'Let me take care of this. Everyone
gets out of here. Luna take Tatu with you!' said Ungar. "But!" said Daniel. 'No,
he's right.' Said Oliver. 'We'll only get in the way, come on!' said Mencius. Oliver,
Mencius, Luna and Tatu took off and with a little convincing Athena convinced
Daniel to come as well.
After a brief moment Ungar spoke up. 'What are you? I sense the energy of
Demon King Taipei, Zagros, The Slug King Yami, the Dark Tao, the Dark Triad,
Emperor Lupus, Demon King Yakku, and a number of other tyrants what the hell
even are you?' said Ungar. 'Wow that's a keen observation. Since I'm going to
banish you away forever anyway, I might as well tell you. My gracious master has
been collecting the energy of fallen tyrants to create the ultimate servant out of the essence of multiple dark beings.
You're friend the Elf Narcis over the last three
years training with the Monkey King in the Spirit Realm defeated and killed
Demon Lord Yakku and his Dark Triad along with the mercenaries the Dark Tao,
he also killed the Demon King Taipei, Zagros and Yami who were all working for
Yakku after their deaths at the hands of Narcis two years ago in the Spirit Realm
two years without their knowledge my master stole all of their souls from hell and
used them to create me. Meanwhile on Planet Izador Sarai and Zaiyal killed the
evil Izadoran Emperor Lupis who sought to conquer the Universe for his galactic
empire my master stole his soul as well along with the recently killed Sodom and
Gomorrah and Nilis the Cyclops. But all of those fiends are only the tip of the
iceberg I have countless more dark souls that make me up and I have acquired all
of their knowledge and their power. Not only that but I have the fighting energy
and abilities of all of your friends including you Ungar. And I've watched all of
your long before your last adventure with that Elf Daniel it's been 500 years since
I've started of merely being a fly on the wall. And now I can shape-shift because of
the Monkey King's abilities that's how I pulled of resembling a Questing Beast.
But more than anything I get stronger with each new being I absorb so the sky is
only the limit for me. For my name, you may call me Malum.' said the creature.
Ungar stood there for a moment in shock now it all made sense this creature was
made up of countless dark beings some of whom he had fought before and in their own separate adventures Narcis, Sarai and Zaiyal had fueled this being's existence.
'Alright that all makes sense. But who is your master?' said Ungar. 'I'm sorry but
I'm not at the liberty to disclose that information.' Said Malum. 'Why not you're
going to seal me away in a dark oblivion right so why not tell me.' Said Ungar. 'I
would but orders are orders. You know how it is.' Said Malum. Ungar thought
about this for a moment this creature is getting orders from who. 'Well, I'm glad
my comrades left and the area is free of civilians.' Said Ungar. 'Oh, and why is
that?' said Malum. 'Because now I don't have to hold back!' said Ungar. Ungar
began to pulsate with massive ammounts of energy. 'Yeahahahaha! That's very
impressive but it still won't be enough to stop me.' Said Malum. 'Well prove it
then!' said Ungar. After this Ungar plunged forward and punched Malum in the
face but Malum simply brushed it off and sent Ungar flying with a single kick
through three small mountains which caused them to crumble. Ungar would have
to be on his toes this foe was the foe used multiple Eclipse Cannons in lightning
succession. Which through Ungar off guard. The creature was using his own attack
against him and then he got on a flying cloud like the Monkey King and began to
thrash the wizard with his sword. After this he used another familiar move copying
Ungar's strategy to the T which Ungar recognized from someone he knew some
centuries ago followed by Ebisu's lightning strike ability. After this it was nothing
more than a blur the creature was treating Ungar like a rag doll.
Finally, Ungar began to collect himself and slowly began to actually hold his own against the
monster. But at this moment Malum grabbed Ungar's cape and used it as leverage
to throw him through the ground. Ungar was launched at least 30 feet underground
and was immediately pursued by Malum. And now the two were fighting
underground in a large cavern. Ungar was now on the retreat and Malum was on
the offensive with Ungar hopping away at much speed but with Malum hot on his
tail. 'This guy's insane he's throwing everything and the kitchen sink at me. I don't
stand a chance against this monster. I have to find a way to end this fight quickly.'
Thought Ungar. At that moment Ungar remembered the new special attack he had
been training to use for the last three years. The creature undoubtedly knew of it
but if he used it just right maybe he could surprise him. Ungar turned around and
announced; 'SOLAR WAVE!' said Ungar. After this Ungar used his Event Horizon
but when he thought he had the upper-hand the beast was not actually stuck in
time. 'Don't you remember I know all of your attacks so the Event Horizon won't
work you fool.' Said Malum. Ungar had lost all hope when a beam of white energy
struck Malum causing the monster to flee. It was Merlin. Merlin had saved Ungar
and now he would help all of them in their quest to stop this new evil.
