Chapter 61 - 61

Billy took the money and felt even more grateful to Eddie. "Thank you, goodbye, friend!" He said, then started the car and left the Mansion. He would begin a new life and try his best to repay Eddie's kindness.

After seeing Billy off, Eddie returned to the lounge in the Mansion. He had set up everything that needed to be set up, and now it was time to search for what he wanted in the Mansion.

Back in the lounge, Svetlana was not resting but was reading a book. Hearing the door open, she said without looking up, "You're back? Everything went well, I presume."

Eddie nodded, "Very smoothly. You should rest for a bit; I'll take over here."

Svetlana shook her head, "No need. If you want to, you can rest. Don't put too much pressure on yourself."

On the other side, Rebecca was already snoring, apparently truly exhausted. A beautiful woman snoring sounded a bit strange.

"I know, I'm fine. I have special stimulant drugs. You should rest. Do you not trust me, worried I'll do something bad while you're asleep?" Eddie teased.

"Go to hell!" Svetlana said, then sat on the sofa and feigned sleep for a while.

Eddie also nodded, sat down to rest, and replenished his energy. Fortunately, he had brought a lot of supplies, all compressed food, which could quickly restore physical strength and fill his stomach, though the taste wasn't great.

After just an hour, Svetlana woke up, opening her eyes again, like a Queen awakening, a glint of sharpness flashing in them. "I'm well-rested. It's your turn."

Eddie shook his head, "I'm also well-rested. If you don't mind, you can watch Rebecca here, and I'll go out and look around."

Svetlana seemed to sense that the man had other ideas, so she nodded, "Go ahead, be careful. If it's too dangerous, you can call me for help. And don't die!"

"You'd miss me?" Eddie chuckled.

"Go to hell!" Svetlana pushed Eddie out directly. She just didn't want to lose a confidant she could still talk to. As for what came next, that could wait!

Eddie packed his gear, reloaded his magazines, and his strength and spirit were restored. He picked up his submachine gun and walked out of the Mansion. His goal this time was to find T-Virus, and even Umbrella's origin person, the female experimental subject, Lisa!

He remembered that the place where Lisa was kept was in the woods behind the Mansion, near the laboratory. That place was extremely dangerous, especially Lisa; even Wesker might not be able to defeat her. If she weren't delirious, she would probably be the strongest modified human.

Chapter 98: Wolf Mother Worries About the Man

At the Executive Training Center, Sergei handled things very easily this time; one could even say he was 'bullying the weak.' The first time, he was unfamiliar and got injured by Marcus, but this time, returning, Marcus was no match at all. Although the Leech Queen replicated Marcus's memories, she was not human in essence and naturally lacked human learning instincts.

An Ivan-type Tyrant pulled out a rocket launcher and, after receiving the order, fired a shot directly at Wesker's hiding place.

Seeing the Tyrant's action, Wesker was scared out of his wits and immediately ran away, only to be blown away by the rocket launcher's explosion the next second. If he hadn't run fast, he would probably be dead already. This was the fate of a sneak photographer! Sneaky and not daring to photograph openly!

Sergei snorted, "Ant, I'll deal with you later!" This was clearly directed at Wesker. Secretly collecting combat data on his superior for no reason was not something a subordinate should do.

Marcus was no longer speaking at this point. After mutating into his second combat form, his intelligence rapidly declined, leaving only a few combat instincts.

Sergei turned his head, his eyes incredibly cold, "Hmph, it's time to end this boring farce!"

A flashbang was thrown, and a strong, dazzling light burst forth. Marcus, who had already transformed into the Leech Queen's main body, roared incessantly. A puff of green smoke emanated from her body, and leeches continuously fell off, twisting into a ball on the ground, as if scorched.

"Hmph! The flaws are still just as obvious. What a foolish fellow." Sergei walked over and easily defeated Marcus.

An Ivan-type Tyrant came over carrying a special capture box, threw the incapacitated Leech Queen into the box, and carried it again.

The severely injured Leech Queen's weight suddenly dropped, so carrying her was no problem for the Tyrant's robust physique.

"Hmph! Let's go, back to report!" Sergei led the way, and after only a few steps, a series of explosive airwaves came from behind him.

Another Ivan-type Tyrant with orange-glowing eyes forcibly tore down a large door, then blocked Sergei's path.

The violent airwaves lasted for five minutes before ending. Sergei remained perfectly calm, standing in place. "Hmph, the Training Facility was destroyed? Wesker has quite the nerve! I'll butcher him when I get back!"

Exiting the underground laboratory, Sergei boarded a helicopter and flew back to Raccoon City, handing the box containing the Leech Queen to the most elite mobile unit. This unit had a very special member, also the team leader, known as Hunk the Grim Reaper!

The reason he was called the Grim Reaper was entirely because Hunk executed highly classified missions with immense risks, either eliminating evidence detrimental to Umbrella or escorting Umbrella's assets, belonging to a very high-level unit.

Watching the box being escorted away, Sergei's eyes gradually turned cold. That was for Chairman Spencer. For his benefactor, he would give everything.

After his escape, Wesker temporarily hid in a safe place and returned to Raccoon City via the underground train. He needed to confirm if Sergei was still in Raccoon City. The previous secret collection of combat data would definitely lead to Sergei finding an opportunity to teach him a lesson.

Sergei had no time to play hide-and-seek with Wesker. For such a sewer-rat-like fellow, he would simply kill him in passing, never intentionally looking for trouble.

Checking his watch, Sergei boarded the helicopter again. He needed to report the situation to Spencer and find the optimal subject for the Talos Project in the Mansion's underground laboratory.

Twelve hours had passed since Bravo Team departed for their mission. This did not surprise anyone at the police station. Generally, rescue personnel would only be dispatched after twenty-four hours and if contact was lost. Clearly, the designated time had not yet arrived.

Meanwhile, in the truck, Wolf Mom Luper had completed the truck's modification. Suzuki Yoko controlled the computer to connect to the sunlight data server, acquiring ample biochemical weapon combat data and copying all stored data to her own computer.

"Connection is successful. You can leave this to me." Suzuki Yoko said expressionlessly. She always had this expression when dealing with unfamiliar strangers.

"Good, we're returning to the Arklay Mountains. Bertha, you assist this young lady here. Wait for further notice, then bring her back," Luper ordered.

"Understood, Boss." Bertha nodded. She was clearly happy to stay. She was very interested in the Umbrella data here, especially unknown medicines.

Wolf Mother led the remaining three back to the Arklay Mountains. She needed to help her man, assisting him in capturing a very dangerous person!

And Eddie was still exploring outside the Mansion. There were indeed many puzzles inside, which the designer George had spent five years designing: countless secret passages and traps. Initially, they were just for exploration fun, but who knew they would truly become a burial ground!

Without time to play puzzle-solving exploration games in the Mansion, Eddie came to a relatively secluded wooden cabin. This was still within the Mansion's grounds, but there was an abrupt ancient wizard's altar, he didn't know if it was for display.

And behind the altar in the wooden cabin was a chasm, incredibly dark below, impossible to see what was there. But one thing was certain: the bottom was also part of the Mansion, just not marked.

As soon as Eddie arrived at the altar, he heard a whistling wind behind him and quickly dodged forward.

Bang! A nearby tree, the size of a rice bowl, was directly broken in half. This force was at least over eight hundred pounds!

Turning his head, he saw an incredibly ugly, foul-smelling, tall, strange woman standing there. She had heavy iron chains and shackles on her feet, and her hands were bound by a strange torture device, looking incredibly eerie.

This classic appearance was the nightmare of countless people, and also the most pitiful woman in the Mansion, Lisa! The daughter of the Mansion's designer, George!

Seeing the person he was looking for appear, Eddie's nervous (nervous) feeling instantly vanished, replaced by intense focus. To deal with the current Lisa, he could only use cunning. This woman had been experimented on with too many viruses, all absorbed, causing her to be so confused that her sanity was almost gone.

In its place were rapid recovery abilities and immense strength, making her virtually unkillable!

Chapter 99: Lisa is Very Strong

"Mom... Mom!" Lisa cried out deliriously. Then, Progenitor Virus, T-Virus, Alpha Parasite, G-Virus, and so on, were all uniquely fused into her cells.

The Lisa before him was pitiable, yet also extremely dangerous. As Eddie was still wondering what to do, Lisa launched another direct attack, smashing down with her bound hands, while simultaneously taking a stride forward, covering several meters. Enhanced physique was displayed vividly on her.

Eddie again leaped backward. The spot where he had just stood was directly smashed into a large pit, which greatly alarmed Eddie. This was the manifestation of perfectly fused serums; she didn't mutate into a monster, still maintained a human form, and possessed powerful regenerative abilities.

"Lisa, I know Jessica. I'll take you to her." Eddie tried to awaken Lisa's consciousness. Compared to before, after being injected with the Alpha Parasite, she had recovered a bit of her sanity and was no longer completely muddle-headed.

Thud! Lisa's response to Eddie was a powerful overhead smash that almost cracked his toenails. It hurt so much!

Eddie frowned. If he wanted to take Lisa away, he would have to defeat her first. But Lisa had endless strength and recovery ability. The cells in her body had probably evolved into a higher form, like cancer cells that can divide infinitely, meaning she wouldn't die!
