Chapter 62 - 62

Unless she is burned with fire or thrown into lava, she truly cannot be destroyed!

Lisa's uniqueness is a great help to Eddie's research. To truly find a way to achieve immortality, the key must be with Lisa.

Those fools at Umbrella have no idea what a valuable treasure this is. Spencer, that idiot, is the same; he's committed so many sins and still lives well.

Lisa ran over again, her bound hands raised high and brought down forcefully, as if affected by the T-Virus's berserk state, or perhaps constantly enduring unimaginable pain, wanting to vent through violence.

Eddie seized the moment; with his mental focus incredibly concentrated, bullet time appeared again! Lisa's attack movements became incredibly slow. The flow of time hadn't changed, but his reaction speed had greatly increased, making her attack speed seem very slow, giving him ample time to react.

He raised his right hand, sweeping past her handcuffs and striking the weak point at her wrist, then twisted forcefully, using Lisa's immense strength to throw her away with a technique of using four ounces to deflect a thousand pounds.

Bang! Lisa spun three hundred and sixty degrees in the air before crashing into the forest's iron gate with a loud thud.

Eddie was still a bit breathless. That move was taught to him by Svetlana, a very practical technique. Constantly paying attention to one's strength rhythm is essential to fully utilize the technique. Without reverence for strength, one is no different from a beast. Even the strongest power can be defeated; how could humans not overcome beasts?

But in no time, Lisa staggered back to her feet, like an unkillable cockroach. She ran over again, her speed even faster, and the skin that had been cut earlier had already healed, which was incredibly surprising.

Eddie frowned. It seemed that reasoning with her wouldn't work; he needed to try a different approach.

Just then, a burst of submachine gun fire came, accompanied by the whirring of a helicopter rotor. In the sky, Wolf Mother Karena was descending rapidly, holding a gun with one hand and a tactical rope with the other.

While descending rapidly, she didn't miss a single shot, hitting Lisa perfectly. How rich was Wolf Mother's combat experience? At least, this move is something even ordinary special forces team members cannot do, not even Eddie.

Dropping quickly, Karena spun in the air, kicking Lisa directly in the neck with a deadly Muay Thai kick!

Bang! It sounded as if bones were breaking. Lisa was kicked flying. She was nearly 1.9 meters tall, perhaps even more, yet Wolf Mother kicked her away with a single blow.

"Are you alright, my dear?" Wolf Mother, wearing a light blue glowing mask, asked with a hint of tenderness in her voice.

"I'm fine. This Lisa is useful and pitiful. She's the origin of all T-Virus mutations. We need to tie her up with the strongest ropes. She's gone mad, but there might still be a chance to save her. She's the key to our immortality!" Eddie didn't hide anything from Wolf Mother; he could trust her.

Wolf Mother, who had experienced over thirty years of human emotions, could naturally distinguish truth from falsehood. It was because of Eddie's sincerity that Wolf Mother chose to believe him, not without a touch of pride in an older woman dating a younger man and the strange feeling of investing in a potential stock.

"Ninja, Highway, you two get the ropes and tie that woman up. Be careful, her strength is no less than a Tyrant!" Wolf Mother instructed through her earpiece.

VECTOR and Hector Hivers quickly jumped from the helicopter. They had also witnessed their captain's fierce display. Even VECTOR didn't believe he could beat the captain. Exquisite combat skills combined with immense strength made it a very difficult fight, hard to win, unlike a bio-weapon like the Tyrant, which uses strength without skill!

"Where should we put her?" Wolf Mother asked.

"Put her in the villa for now. She won't die without eating or drinking. Just tie her up tightly. She'll play a crucial role when we seek revenge on Umbrella in the future," Eddie instructed.

"I understand. Are you leaving with us? It's dangerous here, I'm worried about you," Wolf Mother suddenly said. Mature women unconsciously care for younger men, provided the man is worth her concern.

"No need, you guys go first. You take care of yourself, don't get too tired. People need rest, you're not made of iron," Eddie shook his head; he still had things to do.

Wolf Mother snorted, "This old woman knows her situation. I'm not like you. Alright, I'm leaving. Call me anytime if something happens. Remember, don't die. I don't want to hear any bad news about you."

Eddie pointed to his backpack, "Did you forget I still have this? Plus, I have clay bombs. I can escape even if I'm hiding underground!"

Blasting open obstacles with bombs, then briefly flying away with the backpack. As long as he runs fast enough, his teammates' question marks can't keep up!

"Alright, this old woman will wait for you to come back and celebrate with drinks. Just don't die." Wolf Mother Karena nodded fiercely. For a woman who spent her entire career in special forces to act like a delicate woman, that would be quite difficult!

Chapter 100: How Is Lisa's Mother Still Alive?

Lisa temporarily lost her mobility, entering a rigid state from Wolf Mother's explosive kick. Lisa wasn't difficult to deal with, just required technique. The bullet marks on her body were already rapidly healing; even submachine guns didn't have much effect on her.

Layer upon layer, inside were tough, highly synthetic fiber ropes with a certain degree of resilience, impossible to break with brute force. Outside, iron chains also locked Lisa up. This woman was full of various viruses, possessed immense strength, and one careless mistake could easily lead to death!

Once everything was resolved, Wolf Mother returned to the helicopter. She simply waved at Eddie and left. Sentimental goodbyes? That's what delicate women do. Strong women know how to pick up and let go.

Wolf Mother and Eddie had a very close relationship, which almost all members of the Wolf Team knew. Yet, they didn't speak. They knew Wolf Mother's temperament; she was fierce and had a big sister's demeanor, but she would never accept unreasonable rules. So, their boss Eddie must have some extraordinary qualities.

"Boss, what do we do next?" asked Highway, the demolitions expert.

"Monitor this captured bio-weapon, ensuring she doesn't cause problems. Once the boss's experiments are complete, we will receive better equipment, weapons, and treatment. The future will certainly be dominated by bio-weapons, so you should spend your free time learning how to deal with those beasts," Wolf Mother said, closing her eyes to rest in the back seat.

"Understood, Boss!" Highway nodded emphatically.

After Lisa was taken away, Eddie finally arrived at the altar. The Mansion was full of eerie places. If he hadn't known about the bio-weapon leak beforehand, he would have been scared half to death.

Dududu, his phone vibrated. Eddie answered, "It's me, what's up?"

The person calling was surprisingly Ada! "It's Ada. Did you forget me so quickly?" Her tone carried a hint of teasing, full of pleasant cheer!

"Of course I wouldn't forget. Are you planning to thank me, perhaps by offering yourself?" Eddie teased back with a smile.

"Go to hell!" Ada snorted.

Eddie's expression was a bit strange. Why did all strong women say that? "Alright, no more jokes. Ada, you must have something important if you're looking for me."

"I found some information. Umbrella has already captured Marcus. Aren't you going to rescue him?" Ada's voice always carried a unique charm.

"That's not Marcus; it's the Leech Queen who inherited Marcus's essence. Essentially, it's just a leech, but with human thoughts and the ability to speak human language." Eddie shook his head. What a joke, him rescuing Marcus?

However, he also became vigilant. He hadn't managed to blow Marcus up; instead, Marcus had been captured.

"You know a lot. Don't you think this is a very interesting matter?" Ada's voice had an undertone, seemingly hinting at something.

"You can sell this information to your employer. I believe many people would want this exclusive news. Imagine, a talking leech, immensely strong, capable of transforming into anyone's appearance, with unique camouflage and an unkillable nature. Who wouldn't want such a weapon? Just make sure Umbrella doesn't have too easy a time." Eddie suddenly thought of a good idea to cause Spencer some trouble.

The world is not short of intrigue, especially in capitalism. Once profits reach a critical point, capitalists can make even crazier moves.

Anyone with a bit of insight would know the potential of a bio-weapon in Marcus's form; this could be said to be the pinnacle of the T-Virus!

"I understand. By the way, I'll tell you something: the one who captured Marcus is Sergei, Umbrella's highest-ranking mobile unit officer. He's currently heading to the Mansion in the Arklay Mountains. Be careful not to run into him." Ada hung up after speaking. Keeping men on her own rhythm is what strong women enjoy most.

Hmph! Women! Eddie looked at the disconnected call. One day, he would make Aunt Wang speak to him calmly, ending up like Jill! The thought alone made him a bit excited.

He observed the iron gate in front of the altar; it seemed to be connected to some mechanism. If he remembered correctly, he had to push the stone statues around it to trigger the switch and open the iron gate. This was the designer's inspiration and perfectly aligned with the European aristocrats' penchant for pointless fuss.

But Eddie didn't plan to follow the steps. If it were Chris, he would definitely obediently follow the procedure.

However, Eddie went directly to the iron gate, gripped its bars with his right hand, and pushed inward forcefully. The iron gate bars began to bend, deforming under the immense pressure.

As his strength gradually increased, Eddie pushed forward with all his might, grabbing the iron gate with both hands. With a roar, he directly pushed the iron gate open! The living hinges connecting to the walls on both sides were pulled out from the wall, and the entire iron gate flew forward.

Clang! A loud noise came as the iron gate fell. Eddie stepped over the iron gate he had violently pushed open and walked into the altar, rubbing his arm, "Tch, looking for a key to open the door? That's what weaklings do!"

It had to be said that the feeling of violently opening a door was really great. No more miserable (bitterly) searching for keys. Did they really think this was a puzzle game?

The altar was very old, with a stone coffin placed there. Coupled with the altar's retro candle-style electric lights, it felt very much like being in a horror game. For a moment, Eddie thought he was in a game, not reality, because everything here was so similar, and behind the altar was a deep chasm.

As if sensing the presence of a living person, the stone was moved aside, and a reddish-brown skinned woman sat up. Her eyes were vacant, and her hands were already showing a tendency to turn into claws, with elongated nails.

Eddie recognized her; it seemed to be Jessica, the wife of George, the original designer of the Mansion! Although her blonde hair was gone, her appearance was still recognizable.
