Chapter 139 - 139

Moira nodded, "I've learned, you forgot, what would my father teach me? This is so f***ing cool."

"Moira, didn't you say you were going to change your habit of swearing?" Emma frowned.

"I just slipped up, don't mind the details. Claire, you and Chris have such a good relationship, coming all this way to find him," Moira said with a smile.

"Because my brother always took care of me since I was little, he paid for all my tuition. He hasn't sent me a message in over two months, so I'm very worried about him. If Barry didn't talk to you for two months, you'd be very worried about him too, right?" Claire explained.

"No way, my old man won't get into trouble that easily. They've already left in a helicopter, and we're still here," Moira pouted.

"Life is better with family around," Claire smiled sweetly.

"Oh, right, do you think Eddie is very mysterious? He seems to have a lot of secrets. You're working for him, so it seems the benefits are pretty good." Claire found another reason and began to subtly inquire about Eddie.

Once a woman becomes curious about a man, she will try to understand him.

"It's alright, his dream is very distant, but with his abilities, I'm confident he can achieve it. Hehe, actually, if I told you, you'd also find his idea very funny, yet he always manages to make people believe him." Moira seemed to recall something and suddenly smiled happily.

"What dream? As long as it's a dream, it won't be funny." Claire felt like she had grasped something; the man's mystery was about to be unveiled.

"I can't say, I can't tell you, unless you also join our team, otherwise I can't say, I'm sorry, Claire, we have to keep some secrets." Moira suddenly smiled apologetically.

This made Claire a little disappointed, replaced by a stronger curiosity. "It's okay, keeping secrets is what a good employee should do. It's my fault, I shouldn't have asked you these things, making it difficult for you."

While the two women were talking, Emma silently ate on the side, refilling the bullets in her magazines, and assembling parts to maintain her homemade handheld electromagnetic gun. This thing had immense power and was the best helper for dealing with troublesome monsters.

Meanwhile, in Pentagon City, the Federal military intercepted a message from Umbrella. This was an encrypted message file worth deciphering.

The message contained only a set of coordinates and a timestamp.

Simmons did not leave the command center. He was watching, looking for any other opportunities to turn the tide. "What does this mean?"

General Morgan glanced at it and immediately knew what it was. "These are evacuation coordinates. Umbrella must be preparing to extract something. This is the location and time."

"Isn't this a great opportunity? We should take the initiative and intercept the target. Whatever it is, we'll profit!" Simmons said coldly.

"The question is, how did we intercept this email? Don't you find it strange?" General Morgan expressed his suspicion.

"What's there to suspect? We intercept a ton of mail every day. We intercept important emails from key figures in every region. Everything is for the peace of the Federation, and the peace of the world!" Simmons said as a matter of course. Maintaining the Western Federation's position in the world was what he needed to do.

"Hehe, I hope so. Since that's the case, then you all go to your meeting. Tell me when you need to deploy troops. I'm only responsible for fighting, not decisions, Consultant Simmons!" General Morgan sneered.

Soon, Simmons, who had gone out for a meeting, returned. He also brought in a military general.

"After a vote by the council, we have decided to dispatch a Guard unit into the Raccoon City Waste Disposal Plant to apprehend the target. This is General Kau Doji, and he will be in charge of this operation. General Morgan has already worked hard on the Arklay Mountains defense line, and we dare not burden him further." Simmons's expression was also cold; this was an attempt to dilute his power.

General Morgan was furious. What he cared about most was power, and now they were bringing someone in to dilute his power. Was this an attempt to deal with him? "Hmph, where are the documents? Without documents, I won't allow unrelated people to participate in this confidential matter. You should know the rules!"

"Of course, here are the documents. Please read them carefully, Mr. Morgan!" Simmons sneered as he handed over the documents.

This was an opportunity Simmons had deliberately sought. Kau Doji was a general loyal to him, and this was a chance to gain merit. Promoting his own people was much better than promoting unrelated individuals.

"Hehe, next, I'll be cooperating with General Morgan. Happy cooperation!" Kau Doji's expression was also incredibly mocking.

Chapter 233: Spencer's Annihilation Conspiracy

General Morgan was furious. Looking at the guy in front of him with a lemon-shaped head, rat-like eyes, a hooked nose, splayed eyebrows, prominent ears, a wide mouth, old canine teeth, a scrawny neck, uneven shoulders, disproportionate arms, chicken bones, a dog's belly, and a glutton's waist, he couldn't contain his anger. The man's appearance was disgusting, and he was extremely smug.

"General Morgan, acting on impulse is not something a capable general would do. I hope you have a pleasant cooperation with General Kau Doji!" Simmons suddenly wanted to laugh. This time he had won a round, and soon he would kick General Morgan out of this game and arrange all his own people to gain merit.

"Hmph, I certainly know that, and I don't need you to remind me." General Morgan snorted. Blocking his path was like killing his parents. This time, his hatred for Simmons had grown immensely, and if he had the chance in the future, he would definitely retaliate. Cooperation? Absolutely impossible.

Soon, another Guard unit appeared on the defensive line on the outskirts of the Arklay Mountains. This unit of three hundred Guards was responsible for capturing the target Umbrella was preparing to flee with at the Waste Disposal Plant.

To deal with bioweapons, such as Tyrants, they even brought an electromagnetic cannon that was still under development and had not yet been tested. This electromagnetic cannon was still in its unfinished stage, and this operation also served as a testing purpose.

In the southern villa of Raccoon City, Spencer had not yet evacuated. His spy within the Federal military told him that Raccoon City would be completely destroyed in six days, giving him six days to evacuate.

"Sergei, how is the underground laboratory being handled?" Spencer was in a good mood, even able to eat by himself.

"Reporting, Chairman, it has been completely destroyed, leaving no traces. However, our supercomputer's motherboard and core were stolen, and I am still investigating who did it. Also, the previous report stating that Albert Wesker was killed was not true. I saw him in the surveillance footage; he is still alive!" Sergei said with his head bowed.

"Oh? That child is still alive? Hehe, I knew the children from the Wesker Project wouldn't die so easily. Go tell him to return the motherboard. If he leaked confidential information, he wouldn't get away with it. If he's willing to come back and work for me, I will still give him important assignments." Spencer's tone was calm.

Alex was a chess piece to assist his immortality, and Wesker was a chess piece for him to rule this world. Both were indispensable. Spencer still approved of Wesker's abilities.

Moreover, the Wesker Project back then screened thirteen top excellent candidates from nearly a thousand children, and then used Progenitor Virus strains to select suitable individuals. In the end, out of the thirteen people, only two remained: Albert Wesker and Alex Wesker.

With such a difficult selection process, Spencer would naturally not give up, so even if Wesker defected, he was still willing to give him a chance.

"Chairman, that guy has had a change of heart. He cannot be trusted if he returns," Sergei added.

"I know, so when the time comes, I will hand him over to you. Umbrella will fall, but we can still rise again. I need a lot of manpower. I don't trust him, I only trust you. You keep a close eye on him. Don't you have confidence, General?" Spencer used a provocative tactic.

"I can do it, Chairman, please rest assured. If he betrays us again, I will kill him!" Sergei swore fiercely.

"That's enough. Also, I have already lured a Federal unit to the Waste Disposal Plant. Only by demonstrating sufficient strength can we deter those people. Peace is never negotiated, Sergei, I'll leave that to you."

"Seven T-03 Tyrants will assist you. In addition, I will have Nemesis also provide assistance. Your Talos Project can also be used as a means of collecting data." Spencer grinned, he wanted to show his muscle and make those Senators fear him, so that even if Raccoon City was nuked, they wouldn't dare to do anything too outrageous to him.

"With so many brothers helping me, the people I'm dealing with must not be simple. I'm very happy to give those guys an unforgettable lesson!" Sergei picked up a knife and cut himself again. Only pain brought him pleasure.

Sergei was unemployed after the collapse of the Russian Empire, so he certainly couldn't be happy about the Western Federation. Now, having the opportunity to personally annihilate an organized unit, the thought alone excited him.

"After this, you will also need to recover a sample of William's mutated monster flesh and a Thanatos Tyrant sample. I will wait for your good news here, General, and then I will leave Raccoon City with you!" Spencer sneered.

"Mission accomplished!" Sergei also bowed his head and grinned.

An unknown conspiracy was unfolding. Spencer was not an old-fashioned man; if he hadn't trusted Alex too much, he would never have been deceived out of a large amount of resources.

From using bioweapons to display his strength, making the Western Federation Senators and military swallow the bitter pill of Raccoon City, jointly hiding the truth. Finally, just throwing out some money would show that Spencer was not yet senile; his strategic vision was still very unique.

Eddie arrived at the cinema, where a large number of zombies had appeared, seemingly having come there to avoid the sun. Some zombies still walked in the sunlight, no longer fearing it.

Ada and Svetlana watched from behind, while Wolf Mother led VECTOR and two others to clear out the zombies. It was better to let them handle these low-level creatures.

Occasionally, a Raging Zombie would charge out, and VECTOR, trained in professional assassination, would promptly snap its neck, in the style of Hunk's guillotine.

Meanwhile, Highway, the demolitions expert, took out a large amount of explosives. Using bombs in such a confined space filled with zombies yielded huge returns, blowing up a large area with each blast.

Wolf Mother quickly did a backflip, dodging a Licker's oral attack. With a stomp of her boot, she pulled the pained Licker closer, gracefully evaded its claw attack, and then brought her boot down hard, directly crushing the Licker's head.

This fierce combat style made the other three team members shiver. Having such a fierce captain was a good thing; at least their survival rate would be much higher. Secondly, they also admired their boss, Eddie, for being able to handle her. If one couldn't suppress such a fierce woman, they would be suppressed and ruled by her in turn, which was not a good thing.
