Chapter 198 - 198

Sienna was caught a bit off guard by this, and for a moment, she didn't know what to say. Unexpected pregnancy—it sounded like a plot device from a melodramatic show.

"Then I'm not afraid. If he's capable, he won't care, and I don't mind. If it really happens, I'll just retire," Sienna said, not backing down, refusing to lose face.

"Alright, I was just kidding. Just treat me to a meal then. I wouldn't dare provoke you; you're too much fun," Eddie waved his hand, unconcerned.

Sienna, however, raised an eyebrow. "Those men can't even touch a single one of my fingers. Don't worry, I'm not that kind of woman."

She didn't know why she felt the need to explain herself. Was it fear or worry? Or both? This feeling was not good, at least not suitable for her career.

"Eddie means he can't afford to provoke you, not that he's saying anything about you. Focus. We're surrounded by Zombies right now. This isn't a place for romance, you two. If you want to talk, go to a cafe. This is a battlefield." Caroline kicked a charging Zombie Dogs, smashing its head, then quickly pulled out her dagger and hammered the attacking Zombie Dogs to death.

Bang! Eddie pulled out his Magnum and directly blew the head off an incoming Hunter. "Let's go. We're heading to the lab for the data."

"Wait, our mission is to secure the beachhead," Sienna interjected, stopping him.

"That's your mission, not mine. Goodbye. See you in the center of the island. Anyway, your target is in that castle in the distance, so we can meet up then." Eddie finished speaking and left with Jessica, unfazed by the ambush of Zombies and bioweapons lurking in the darkness.

Sienna watched Eddie's retreating back, lost in thought for a long time. "Did he ever make any outrageous demands of you?"

"I wouldn't refuse any of his requests, you lovesick fool. If you don't act now, you'll die here," Caroline snorted.

"Alright, after this mission, I'll apply for retirement." Sienna seemed to have thought of something amusing, pulled out her pistol, and quickly shot down the moving Zombie Dogs.

After leaving the main group, Eddie walked straight ahead. They had landed on a small island. To get to the main island, they still needed to cross a steel bridge, thirty meters long, which wasn't particularly far.

At this moment, although the bridge wasn't broken, a large number of Zombies were already lurking there, as if the guards had all reanimated as Zombies in an instant.

"Looks like it's time to fight Zombies again. How incredibly boring." Eddie waved his hand and led the two women in a charge. He threw a punch, hitting a sandbag with precise force. Instead of exploding the sandbag, he sent it flying.

The flying sandbag knocked half of the Zombies on the bridge into the sea, and after a rustling sound, the Zombies that fell into the sea were directly devoured by some kind of bioweapon.

The remaining Zombies also began to stagger over, as if Eddie was a very delicious treat.

Eddie waved his hand, "Jessica, Lisa, they're all yours."

The two women didn't reply but quickly rushed forward in their special high-heeled boots. The heels of their shoes were very effective weapons. On the bridge, the two women delivered spinning kicks to the Zombies, sending them flying.

On the wall, there were four-legged monsters, entirely red, crawling upwards. The sky began to drizzle. These red monsters seemed to have no heads, not even necks, as if they had been severed, with only a few fangs remaining.

They also had a tail, looking like headless lizards, somewhat grotesque and terrifying.

"What the hell are those things?" Eddie was wondering when he saw a Zombie lunge at the four-legged monsters. The next second, the Zombie was electrocuted and charred dark skinned!

Chapter 330: Lisa's Profound Trust

Electrical effect! This was the effect he had always wanted to achieve. Bioelectricity was possible; electric eels could naturally discharge electricity.

Clearly, these monsters were not electric eels. As for whether they were related to electric eels, he would have to check the data to find out.

"Are these mutated salamanders?" Eddie was a bit uncertain and fired a shot at the mutated salamanders.

The Magnum rounds hit the mutated salamanders, tearing them apart. Apparently, this creature's defense against bullets wasn't very strong; one could only call it a failure.

Shaking his head, he lost interest in this creature. It was too disgusting. No one would like such a headless creature; if there were, it would definitely be some netizens with unhealthy habits and bold ideas.

He covered ground quickly, taking three steps in two, then leaped, pushed off the wall, and used the rebound force to leap again. He effortlessly reached the twenty-meter-high cliff edge of the main island—this was the advantage of enhancement.

No need to look for stairs, no need to follow the rules; there was no need to take the usual path.

The main island was also overrun with Zombies. Besides Umbrella mercenaries, there were also workers here, and Zombies wearing hard hats.

"Lisa, check the location of the laboratory." Eddie stood in the rain, looking at the dimly lit island.

Lisa nodded, parted her lips slightly, and a low sound wave emanated, performing a sonar-like scan. The sonar feedback returned, absorbed by a special instrument, and finally transformed into a map.

"It's behind us, we need to go through a building, I don't know what it is, but there aren't many powerful enemies there." Lisa pointed her slender finger into the distance, her nails painted a dazzling purple, looking a bit mysterious.

"Then let's go. Don't waste time. We'll leave the cleanup to them." Eddie had barely finished speaking when he rushed out. This place was full of Zombies, and they were basically no match for him.

With one slap, a Zombie flew out spiraling, knocking down a large number of Zombies before its neck was twisted by the immense force. He casually grabbed a steel bar, twisted it off a fortification, and threw it, piercing through more than a dozen Zombies before it stopped.

With just ordinary Zombies, Eddie didn't even need to use his pistol; he could handle them bare-handed.

Jessica's fighting style was quite brutal; she often used her high-heeled boots to kick Zombies flying, expressing the subtle, violent tendencies brought on by the virus in an unconventional way.

Lisa didn't use her tentacles to attack. Instead, she picked up two steel pipes and, with a single blow, shattered the heads of the Zombies lurking nearby. Her expression was icy, unperturbed by anything. Even when she first fell into the water, facing mutated sharks capable of piercing submarine hulls, she remained remarkably calm.

The three moved quickly, running fast. After leaping over an iron gate, they encountered Umbrella employees here. They seemed to be fleeing for their lives, and one of them, upon seeing Eddie and the two women, shouted, "Help, save us! Ah!"

The man with glasses had just finished speaking when a thick, large hand grabbed him from behind, pulling him back. What held him was an incredibly ugly monster; its left arm was gone, only some rotting skin remained. Its legs were atrophied, and its right arm was immensely huge, as if it could stretch like plastic.

Bang! The The Bandersnatch forcefully crushed the glasses man's head, brutally killing him. It roared at Eddie and the two women, as if flaunting its power.

The next second, two more arms extended from behind, grabbing the other two fleeing researchers. Again, it was an ugly The Bandersnatch, using its gigantic, deformed right hand to crush the researchers' heads, its methods extremely cruel.

"Interesting." Eddie's eyes flickered a few times. These were failed Tyrant mass-production models, bioweapons sold to civilians—powerful, cheap, and easy to use, but not very intelligent, requiring chips for control.

"Roar!" These The Bandersnatch roared and began to attack. Their right arms gripped the edge of a nearby building, swinging over like Tarzan, their arms freely extending and retracting, making them difficult targets for firearms.

To be fair, these monsters were indeed more lethal than Tyrants, and more intimidating. Their extendable arms could easily snatch enemies from cover and then brutally kill them.

"Leave one for me. You two each deal with one; let me have some fun," Eddie sneered.

Jessica reminded him, "If I go all out, I can help you with special treatment. Annette taught me. I don't like her; she used to work for Umbrella."

"Her research didn't involve Lisa, and she never met Lisa. I will punish her for her mistakes on your behalf. Don't you trust me?" Eddie explained.

"We trust you, that's why she's still alive. You are my family, and I will ensure your safety," Lisa said coldly, her words surprising Eddie a little. Lisa actually considered him family, which seemed like a good thing.

In terms of virus adaptability and special antiviral constitution, Lisa would certainly not lose to Wesker. This was very helpful for Eddie's research. Lisa was the key to unlocking the mystery of eternal life, and Eddie would not let this tragic woman suffer. Being treated as an experimental subject since girlhood, her tragic experience was unparalleled.

"Thank you." Eddie smiled.

"You don't need to feel guilty. I understand your feelings. Mother was right to trust you. I don't know if everything you do is right, but you are very good to us. It's I who should thank you," Lisa said softly. "So, I will protect your safety, unless I die."

Whoosh, a punch from the The Bandersnatch came, its fist turning into a palm, intending to repeat its trick of grabbing Eddie's head.

Fully focused, Eddie directly grabbed the The Bandersnatch' palm. A heavy force came through; this was at least five tons of strength, which was already very impressive.

Rip! Eddie forcefully grabbed the The Bandersnatch' palm and pulled it left and right, tearing the The Bandersnatch in half. His terrifying strength could injure and pierce a Tyrant; this cheap monster was absolutely no match.

Jessica merely dodged the The Bandersnatch' attack, then delivered a punch that struck the The Bandersnatch' heart. The The Bandersnatch then immediately collapsed; its internal organs were all shattered by Jessica's punch. The terrifying control of power meant not an ounce was wasted, fully absorbed, leading to instant death!

Chapter 331: Brother-in-Law Chris

Even a non-mass-produced, full-power Tyrant was no match for Jessica, so how could this rudimentary bioweapon be her opponent? It was not at all surprising that it was killed with one punch. A Tyrant who knows martial arts is no match for anyone.
