Chapter 216 - 216

"It's still under development, and we can only improve it gradually. Your physique is too weak; neither a large nor small dosage is suitable. I need a lot of funds and resources. The Federation Pharmaceutical Research Institute is researching a new combined virus, which will be very helpful for your immortality project," Alex suddenly changed the subject.

She obtained these resources and secretly delivered them to her husband. Now that she had the opportunity, of course, she had to give Simmons a hard time. She didn't care why the two men were fighting.

Alex only knew that Simmons was making things difficult for her husband, and that was enough.

"That's family territory, it's not easy to deal with." Spencer obviously knew what kind of place it was. The Gionne Family was a group that gathered the upper echelons of the Federation's society, encompassing most of the wealthy people, after all, in capitalism, money talks.

"If we have it, we can speed up the progress. The original five years can be reduced to three. You still have a long time to live, so if you don't mind the wait, you can take your time," Alex's tone was very relaxed. The one who would die was Spencer, not her, so she was certainly not in a hurry.

"I'll try my best. The next batch of supplies will arrive in three days. Use them sparingly; the company's finances haven't been too good lately." Spencer actually started to complain about being poor. Even if he was poor, he was still much richer than the author.

"Alright, if there's nothing else, I'll hang up first." After Alex finished speaking, she hung up the phone, put it down, and took out her pocket watch. Inside was a photo of her and Eddie.

While Eddie and Alexia were researching the virus together, General Morgan also began his private research and development. He planned to use the new virus to create a biochemical incident, making a big fuss, so that he could expand the power of the Federal Bio-Terrorism Commission.

Given the idiotic individual actions of Kaplan, Simmons once again restricted Eddie's industries in the Federation, raising taxes and inspection standards, and rejecting the pharmaceutical factory's appeal.

Eddie was currently on the cruise ship laboratory helping Alexia with the second round of repairs, which was expected to take forty-five days. He was using a special solution virus for the modification, decomposing the virus in her body, then timely adding a brand new T-Virus, and after repair, assisting with diluted G-Virus for enhancement, while also retaining the plant genes from the Veronica Virus.

Just as Eddie was busy, the phone rang. Christine walked over with the phone, but Eddie pressed her down to the table, "One of the wires inside needs to be reinforced."

Christine squatted down helplessly. How could such a thing happen? Who was in charge of the renovation? Find them and beat them up!

"What is it?" Eddie sat in the chair and took a sip of coffee.

"Boss, our medicine in the Federation has been investigated again. I contacted the cooperative officials you gave me, and they said 'times have changed.' What does that mean?" Curtis was a bit anxious. Being very responsible, he didn't want to mess things up.

"It means there's been a change at the top. They'll probably conduct the strictest inspections on our medicines. Go contact reporters, hold a press conference, and say that the Federation's drug inspection standards have increased, and we can't sell them now, and so on. Throw all the problems out there, play the victim, understand?" Eddie felt very comfortable; what he was doing was indeed correct.

"What about the medicine then? If the medicine piles up, it will go bad over time." Curtis was an honest man, and he had to be responsible for his own affairs.

"It's simple. Ensure the quality is up to standard, then find smugglers to sell it. If you don't know how, contact Excella; she knows what to do." Eddie's smile was incredibly devious, and even his tone was a bit hurried.

"I see, alright. You're the boss, I'll do my best. Thank you very much for giving me this opportunity. Otherwise, I wouldn't know what to do." Curtis expressed his heartfelt gratitude for Eddie's employment.

"That's because you have a beautiful sister, haha, I'm not chatting anymore. If you don't understand, call Excella next time. If she can't make up her mind either, then call me." Eddie hung up the phone after speaking.

Chapter 359: The Vicious Excella

"I'll ask Katherine to take a look, thanks." Eddie chuckled mischievously. Doing bad things was indeed stimulating enough.

As the Queen of Trade, Excella had control over trade route resources even when she was in the Gionne Family. The Western Federation might be able to deal with Eddie's pharmaceutical company domestically, but her influence was not as effective in Europe.

This cheap medicine could help every ruler increase their prestige. By occasionally bringing up the medicine, they could gain public support. After all, the local customs here were relatively open, which led to an increased infection rate of AIDS. Having these medicines on hand could also ensure safety.

In a skyscraper along the Mediterranean coast, Excella sat in a high-rise office, with a panoramic view of the azure ocean. The prices here were not cheap.

However, when Excella, as the head of Mysterious Pharmaceutical's Europe branch, came here to invest, the local Senator sold it at a very low price without a second thought. They also established some cooperation, providing cheap medicine to the area and solving employment issues, among other things.

In the ocean, a faintly visible island could be seen. It was a maritime city collectively invested in and built by various regions of Europe.

The Terragrigia maritime city is currently nearing completion. This is a city that does not rely on polluting resources like oil to operate. It can be entirely powered by solar energy, as both electricity and solar energy are clean energy sources.

Even on cloudy and rainy days, there is Daylight, but the effect is not as dramatic as what can be seen with the naked eye.

"How this logistics shipment is distributed is first up to us, and then the scraps are thrown out for those mad dogs to fight over. How many times have I told you? Now pack your things and get out!" Excella finished speaking, hung up the phone, lit a cigarette, and let the hot smoke roll in her throat to calm her anger a bit.

Knock, knock! A knock sounded, followed by the direct opening of the door. The only one who could have such treatment was naturally Alyssa, who collaborated with Excella.

"Eddie just called and told us to make trouble for Simmons in the Western Federation. That piece of shit is making things difficult for us again. I really want to twist off his dog's head!" Alyssa's temper had become somewhat volatile, completely different from before.

Excella smiled as she smoked her cigarette. "I think you need to go back and see Eddie, otherwise your rage might lead to you hitting someone. It's okay, I already know. Eddie told me a long time ago that Simmons's family would deal with him."

"What are you planning to do?" Alyssa raised her delicate eyebrows. It had indeed been a while since she had seen Eddie, and she missed her man a bit.

"I contacted those who escaped from Raccoon City before; they became mercenaries. This time, I'm having them smuggle. I've cleared the way with the Federation Customs and found a good location. I'm going to smuggle and sell within the Federation, and collapse the family's economy!" Excella sneered.

"It doesn't seem that simple, does it?" Alyssa didn't think that simple smuggling could solve the problem.

"They are involved in almost all industries in the Federation, with real estate being the largest and most invested. If I give those terrorists who hate the Federation an opportunity to enter the Federation, take explosives, and blow up the buildings that have been built, what do you think will happen?!" Excella was still smiling at this moment, but it was a bit chilling. This was a femme fatale!

It was fortunate that Eddie's series of plans had previously reduced Excella's rebellious thoughts to a minimum. Otherwise, such a beautiful and incredibly intelligent woman would indeed be a dilemma. Killing her would be a pity, but not killing her would mean she was an enemy.

"You really are a terrifying woman. Eddie wouldn't do that." A hint of mockery flashed in Alyssa's beautiful eyes.

Excella, however, didn't mind at all. She blew a smoke ring, looking very much like a lady. She had only become a woman after meeting Eddie. "Eddie certainly wouldn't do these things, nor is it suitable for him to do so. He can't be the bad guy. We are women, and sometimes we have to sacrifice something for our men."

Alyssa frowned, "Don't get yourself involved; if we have to save you then, Eddie will definitely be very passive."

"I never do things that can be used against me by anyone. You continue to publish your articles: 'Alright,' guide public opinion to our side, that's your job." A cruel smile flashed in Excella's beautiful eyes. No one could stop her, not even the entire Western Federation combined.

Meanwhile, in the Western Federation, unsettling factors had already begun to emerge. Previously, medicines were very cheap, but now prices had gradually started to rise, causing some people to be unable to afford them.

Medicines piled up in warehouses, unable to be sold, and patients couldn't get their medication. In the free Western Federation, a series of smashing, looting, and robbery incidents began.

Eddie, however, personally came to the building in East Africa. A large area here had been bought by Jill. The main structure of a building had been constructed; it wasn't tall, only thirty stories. It was currently undergoing renovation and would be ready for use in just over half a month.

Accompanying Jill to observe the progress of the project, he unexpectedly discovered an old acquaintance. Uncle Kenneth, a former member of the S.T.A.R.S., a kind old man who had become a eunuch due to the Mansion incident.

Next to him was Anlra, with a pregnant belly, looking three or four months along, always wearing a smile. When she saw Eddie, Anlra seemed a bit unnatural in her expression. No one knew that the child in her belly was Eddie's.

Uncle Kenneth, however, was very open-minded. Since there was a child, no matter whose it was, it was right to give birth to it.

"Hi, Kenneth, long time no see!" Eddie greeted cheerfully, his smile a bit mischievous.

"Hello, Eddie, I finally get to see you. You really are a busy man. It's not easy to meet you. Thank you very much for investing in my hometown; at least I can do something for my hometown." Kenneth laughed heartily.

"It's just a small favor, don't you think, Anlra?" Eddie chuckled mischievously. He clearly remembered everything. Although such a thing was immoral, it could make one feel very proud.

Chapter 360: Sheva

Anlra's expression remained unchanged. She nodded and said, "That's right, you're a great person. Maintaining stability in this area is the most important thing, and your efforts will be appreciated."

The underlying meaning was not to reveal any flaws, as that would not benefit anyone.

"I just want to make money; improving lives is not something I can do." Eddie shrugged. He seemed to have inadvertently been a good person once, giving the other party a child. Was this good or bad?

On the construction site, a young dark skinned girl was directing workers to transport materials. Her slender figure was not as bloated as the local women. She looked youthful and beautiful, which changed Eddie's perception of dark skinned people.

Anlra called the girl over and introduced her, "This is Sheva Alomar, the daughter of a friend of mine. Her parents both died in a chemical plant explosion. Her uncle abused her, and after receiving subsidies from the chemical plant, he didn't provide her with food or lodging."

"That's truly unfortunate news. Many people turn against each other because of money. Too much money leads to jealousy, and too little money leads to contempt. However, as long as you maintain a good mindset, all problems will be solved. Hello, my name is Eddie, and this is my wife, Jill." Eddie smiled and extended his hand.

Sheva also extended her hand and shook Eddie's. "Thank you, it's a pleasure to meet you. I will work hard to ensure the project is completed as expected, please rest assured."
