Chapter 218 - 218

Katherine, however, seemed very curious; she was looking forward to all of this.

Immortality sounded like a myth, and now this myth had advanced another step.

She grew more and more curious about how far her man could go.

"Jill, I'm leaving this to you.

If anything happens, notify me immediately.

Also, pay attention to any other movements at all times; I suspect Simmons will come after you all," Eddie reminded her.

"He doesn't have the time.

He's currently busy dealing with the riots within the Federation; he has no time to deal with us," Ada said, walking over in high heels, a playful smile on her lips.

Chapter 362: Ada's Change

Simmons was among those who ordered the use of nuclear bombs to destroy Raccoon City.

This filled Ada with immense disgust.

All that talk of obsession was ultimately nonsense.

Although Ada didn't like Simmons, she was still disgusted by his actions.

He claimed to be madly in love with Ada, yet as soon as he knew she was still in Raccoon City, he launched a missile strike.

This abnormal behavior greatly displeased Ada.

"Many cities in the Federation are rioting, and there are even rumors of certain unspeakable things appearing," Ada said with a playful smile, clearly gloating over Simmons's predicament.

A woman is simple; she just wants to help her husband, especially an Eastern woman like Ada.

Once married, as long as her husband isn't foolish, she will be fiercely loyal in protecting him.

"When the time comes, I'll have to add some fuel to the fire.

Didn't he always strive to maintain the Western Federation's position as the world's hegemon?

Then we'll destroy his dream.

If he can't achieve that, he'll naturally be ousted," Eddie chuckled sinisterly.

"Using virus proliferation to create a biohazard crisis?"

Ada raised an eyebrow.

She strongly disliked such inhumane behavior; it was too despicable and shameless.

Eddie shook his index finger.

"You underestimate me too much.

Only unscrupulous people would do such a thing.

I still have some conscience, at least.

This method isn't for me, and don't suggest it to me."

Ada smiled brightly after hearing him.

"You truly haven't disappointed me.

I won't be accompanying you this time; it's inconvenient."

She didn't mean it was inconvenient to see Simmons, but rather that she was pregnant and not very comfortable moving around.

"Then you should rest well at home and take good care of Jill.

I'm very worried that something bad might happen to you after I leave," Eddie said with some concern.

"You don't need to worry.

Ada has fully taken over intelligence work, and with January's help, we will be very safe," Jill explained with a smile.

In terms of beauty, she was no less than Ada, and her status was also irreplaceable by others.

"Then I'm leaving.

Take care of yourselves," Eddie waved, then boarded the plane with Jessica and Lisa.

The other women continued to stay on the cruise ship, responsible for logistics and awaiting their turn for the second enhancement.

Monica's test data indicated that the direction of enhancement was correct.

Her cell vitality was higher than that of ordinary people, and her metabolism had slowed down.

This showed that the number of cell divisions had increased, allowing her to live longer.

The only slight drawback was that her previous fertility had significantly decreased, making it not as easy to conceive.

This made Monica a bit unhappy.

In her plan, by having Eddie's child and a child as a bond, she wouldn't have to worry about being abandoned.

On the plane to the Western Federation, Eddie was browsing computer knowledge on his tablet.

He felt it was necessary to learn some, at least to design something unique.

The previous flight backpack was too crude and couldn't be put into practical use.

Before heading to the Federation, Eddie made a trip to West Africa to pick up Sheva.

This woman was quite capable and might be useful in the future.

Most importantly, he wanted to keep the benefits within his own circle.

Five hours later, the plane landed on the branch building in Havverville City.

This was his property, so no one would say anything about where he landed.

Arriving downstairs, the tall, blonde Rachel was already waiting there.

Looking at her wristwatch, she said, "You're an hour earlier than expected."

"You leaning against the sports car look a lot like a car model.

If you're interested, how about a private car model performance?" Eddie teased.

"Are you dreaming?" Rachel's tone was full of playful mockery.

She wouldn't show happiness in public; only secrecy would allow her to continue lurking.

"Just kidding.

This is Sheva, your student.

Sheva, this is Rachel, the top agent of the Federal Bio-Terrorism Commission.

Learn well from her, and you'll acquire many useful skills," Eddie introduced.

With him around, Rachel would absolutely not die on the Queen Zenobia.

Rachel seemed to sense Eddie's intention and nodded at him.

This man still cared deeply about her personal safety.

Following him wouldn't be a waste of her youth.

"Hello, Instructor Rachel," Sheva greeted respectfully.

Rachel nodded indifferently.

"Hmm, if you don't study hard, I'll kick you out of this department.

I only accept elites, never trash!"

"I believe you won't have that chance!" Sheva's eyes were very firm.

She couldn't let down Aunt Anlra's kindness and trust, and she vowed to take revenge on Umbrella, that damned company.

Riding in Rachel's sports car, the group quickly arrived at the training center.

This was a Federation military academy, and a portion of the buildings had been requisitioned by General Morgan to train special soldiers.

Some improved biological weapons had already been put into training here, made less lethal, aiming to enhance the committee's combat troops' knowledge of biological warfare.

One must be strong to strike iron.

Although that old dog Morgan was no good, he did an excellent job in this area.

If one disregarded his repulsive lust for power, he was still worthy of some respect.

In the training center's conference room, Sheila and Parker guarded the door, while Rachel took Sheva to complete the formalities.

Eddie, meanwhile, was in the conference room with Jessica and Lisa.

General Morgan sat meticulously.

"Didn't I say, no unauthorized personnel allowed?"

Eddie quipped, "They are my most trusted bodyguards, having saved me many times, and are trustworthy people.

I don't keep anything from them in anything I do, so there's no need to worry."

"Do you mean you don't keep anything from them even when you spend the night with other women?" General Morgan sneered, clearly a rhetorical question.

A selfish person like him wouldn't understand the meaning of trust.

"Of course, that's how I've always done it," Eddie retorted, not to be outdone.

Chapter 363: Rachel's Hint

General Morgan raised an eyebrow.

This guy was very good at faking it, and he added some details.

He had no idea how the other person lit his cigarette.

"To continue cooperating, I haven't agreed.

He's no longer useful.

In the Antarctic operation, you and I teamed up, but he went solo.

Hmph, he deserved to die."

"No, we still need him, but this time he needs to be restricted by something, letting him get the fame while we get the benefits.

He wants reputation, you want power, and I want wealth!" Eddie said, smoking a cigarette.

This herbal cigarette was like incense, refreshing and invigorating.

General Morgan clearly showed some interest.

"How do we operate?"

"Aren't there riots recently?

Find a few scapegoats, and with your ability, it shouldn't be hard to find evidence of them trading viruses and biological weapons with a former Umbrella employee.

Simmons holds absolute power, and you should know that he will only maintain the Federation's transcendent status, not support an extremist like you.

He won't want a hothead like you," Eddie sneered.

Framing?

General Morgan immediately thought of this idiom, and he seemed to have a breakthrough.

"Wouldn't that be too cruel?"

Pfft, Eddie almost choked on General Morgan's words.

Jessica immediately and gently patted Eddie's back, feeling a bit distressed.

She was growing more and more sympathetic to this man, who carried too many burdens.

"Are you kidding me?

You still feel cruel?

Stop talking nonsense.

You find those rioting guys, throw out the evidence, and then you can take the opportunity to expand your power.

Then you have to say that this is the consequence of Simmons suppressing my pharmaceutical factory," Eddie sneered.

"You seem to be able to solve Simmons's problem without much effort, while I'm doing all the heavy lifting," General Morgan raised his question.

The young man in front of him wasn't one of those party animals, but someone of equal status to him.

"Don't forget who provided you with the vaccine; that's very important.

Without the vaccine I provided, those soldiers on missions would have turned into zombies.

Don't even talk about expanding the committee's power; it would be good if you weren't impeached and dragged to court.

Rely on those hodgepodge, half-baked vaccines?

You can try it," Eddie said proudly.

This was his trump card.

"Deal.

Then the matter of Kaplan is up to you to handle.

I don't want to see that person." General Morgan thought for a moment and agreed.

Compared to vulgar money, lofty power was harder to obtain; everyone had their own aspirations.

The two cunning foxes, big and small, exchanged smiles and shook hands cordially.

General Morgan was not someone to cooperate with deeply.

Eddie would not forget that this guy would discard people after using them.

He estimated that those who helped him develop t-abyss would definitely not survive after the matter was done.

Leaving the training center, he entrusted Sheva to Rachel, giving her a hint to watch Sheva closely and not let her develop any relationship beyond friendship with other men.

Rachel rolled her eyes a bit at this request.

Was he trying to keep the benefits within his own circle?

After exchanging words with Eddie for a few hours, she was finally satisfied and let him leave.

Apple City, the Federation's largest financial center, in the Manhattan sector, in a seaside villa near the canal.

Kaplan and his wife were preparing a lavish meal.

He didn't have much money left to use; that dog Simmons had cut off all his sources of income.

Driving his SUV ostentatiously, he arrived at Kaplan's villa.

Lisa was driving in front, while Eddie and Jessica sat in the back, studying and not wasting time.

"Hi, Eddie, it's so good to see you.

Please come in.

It's wonderful that you could come, thank you so much!" Kaplan's expression was very emotional; he even looked like he was about to cry tears of joy.

A grown man shedding tears?

Behind Kaplan was a typical white American beauty, with fair skin, clearly pampered, wearing bright red nail polish and high heels.

Even in decline, she still loved to dress up.

"This is my wife, Britney.

Britney, this is my partner, Eddie," Kaplan introduced them.

"Hello, madam, you are very beautiful," Eddie said with a smile, extending his hand for a handshake.
