Cherreads

Chapter 225 - 225

If a Licker were to run into the dorms, they'd just have to pray for themselves and see if there were any capable female students like Claire.

With Eddie's help, Rachel was very fast, leaving most of the zombies behind. It took five minutes to reach the bar, where a large number of zombies were gathered nearby. Perhaps unable to bear staying hidden among the zombies, these college students had actually come out to have fun and drink.

"Let's go in," Eddie simply said before walking into the bar. He grabbed a slow-moving zombie, twisted it hard, and snapped its neck.

Rachel pulled out the tactical dagger strapped to her calf. The dagger flashed, stabbing and pulling, piercing the zombie's head.

Seemingly sensing a camera, Jessica pulled out her pistol and fired a few shots, blowing up the camera. Then she began emitting ultrasonic waves, using the sound waves to resonate with the cameras near the bar.

Five seconds later, the cameras collectively shattered. Simmons, sitting in front of his computer, saw his screen suddenly go dark skinned. He knew what had happened.

"Go investigate what they're doing," Simmons said, frowning. He could sense that his old rival, Eddie, had a big secret.

The bar door was locked, but Rachel, eager to save her sister, kicked it open directly. The steel door was forcefully flung open, knocking down the zombies behind it.

"Where's your sister?" Eddie asked.

"Third floor, they're on the third floor," Rachel said before heading upstairs.

"They're not doing some kind of group activity here, are they? That's illegal!" Eddie frowned. He disliked going to bars; what good could be found there? He wouldn't say there were no good women, but the chances were slim; many were just women doing business in alleys.

Rachel almost stumbled, giving her man an exasperated look. "My sister is with her classmates, and I've warned her not to date boyfriends during college; they're all liars. How many couples actually last after college?"

The bar wasn't large; it was a quiet bar, without complicated setups. There was no need to walk around looking for keys to open doors. Arriving on the third floor, they saw a muscular man with some gruesome scars, gripping a dark skinned man's head.

The man was very tall, over two meters, and lifted the 1.8-meter dark skinned man, crushing his head with a cruel laugh.

The headless body fell to the floor, surrounded by many other bodies, all with crushed heads.

Rachel quickly checked, fearing her sister might have died.

The muscular man turned around after hearing the commotion, looking at the four people coming up. He showed no fear and began walking towards them.

His appearance was hideous, his face highly decomposed, and his entire body was covered in rotten flesh, seemingly due to an accelerated metabolism. His spine was exposed, but he still retained a humanoid shape.

This monster should have been a human mutation, but it was unclear why such a monster appeared. Normal T-Virus would not cause this kind of infection; there was only one possibility: a stable T-Virus had been modified, becoming a hybrid, similar to T but not quite T.

Eddie twisted his neck. "Leave this to me." He then started running, using the momentum to increase his power.

The ugly man also started running. They met in the middle, exchanging blows. The man wanted to grab Eddie's head, while Eddie threw a punch.

Bang! Eddie felt nothing, but the ugly man flew backward, his arm limp, as if his bones had been shattered by the impact.

"Tsk, pathetic," Eddie said, tilting his chin smugly.

The ugly man's expression turned extremely furious. His right arm began to mutate, bones rapidly healing under the virus's repair, while a large number of bone spurs grew on the outside of his arm. This mutation was very strange.

Eddie's eyes flickered a few times. He seemed to have sensed a trace of G-Virus just now. After fusing with the G-Virus himself, he had a slight sensitivity to similar viruses. The man in front of him was definitely not a natural mutation, but a man-made variant, certainly having been injected by someone.

"Roar!" The ugly man's head also began to mutate. His original head was squeezed down, and a brand new monstrous head began to emerge.

This was clearly the standard process of the G-Virus replacing its host. Although the initial first state was somewhat strange, it did not affect the subsequent mutation.

Eddie twisted his neck. "Looks like things are getting interesting, haha. Who did this? Simmons or Wesker? Or William Birkin?"

Whoosh! Eddie pushed off the floor. One second he was bragging, the next he appeared in front of the ugly man, punching his heart and blowing it up. At the same time, a roundhouse kick burst the eyes spawned by the G-Virus. Finally, he shoved a high-explosive grenade inside and kicked the opponent into a private room.

Chapter 374: Girl with dark skinned-Rimmed Glasses

Following an explosion, the private room was blown apart, and the ugly man was shattered into pieces. Eddie, still not satisfied, threw an incendiary grenade, setting the room ablaze.

On the other side, Rachel was still searching for her sister, Gina. "Gina, where are you? Speak up, I'm here to save you."

A sweet voice came from the room behind Eddie, "I'm here, we're here, sister. The room door has been twisted by the monster, we can't open it."

As soon as Gina finished speaking, she saw a handsome blonde man push open the room door with his bare hands. He pushed it off, along with the latch, as if simply sliding it away.

"Indeed, this door is something else, it's too heavy," Eddie said, nodding thoughtfully.

A woman with smooth chestnut long hair, wearing small dark skinned-rimmed lady's glasses, and a beautiful face, blinked at Eddie. She seemed a bit naive, but upon closer inspection, one could discern cunning and a hint of determination in her eyes.

Rachel walked in. After seeing her sister was fine, she checked her again. "Gina, it's really good that you're okay."

"I'm fine, sister. Thank you for coming to save me," Gina said gently. "Is this gentleman your colleague?"

"No, he's just a passerby, don't mind him, he's not a good person. Let's go. Oh, you still have classmates?" Rachel then noticed two female college students with smoky makeup looking at her with lingering fear.

"Sister, they are my classmates. We are good people. I had a bit to drink earlier and felt dizzy, so I called them to pick me up. You told me not to interact with boys. The female classmate who came with me earlier went to find her boyfriend, so I drank with other classmates," Gina whispered.

"Hi, ladies. Are you alright? If you are, come out together. We need to leave this awful place; it's full of zombies," Eddie said with a smile, extending his hand and pulling up the two fashion-conscious female college students. They were quite good-looking.

Girls of this age all like to dress up. After all, high school doesn't really allow dressing up, at least not in school. And after school, who cares? Teachers have to go home too.

Gina, however, looked at Eddie a few more times. She didn't believe there was no relationship between this man and Rachel, they just weren't saying it. "Rachel, how did you get here so fast?"

"I happened to be on duty here. Didn't you know? This city has been locked down. I'll take you out, let's go." Rachel pulled her sister and walked out.

Eddie was a bit surprised. "Rachel, is this really your sister?"

Rachel nodded. "Nonsense, what else would you think?" She felt a secret thrill talking to Eddie like this. She was enjoying it now, but she knew she'd pay for it later when they were alone; she was well aware that the little man held grudges.

The group left the bar and returned the way they came, only to see many zombies already gathering again on the road back, seemingly drawn by the commotion and looking for food.

"Let's leave from the back, bypass the dorms, go to the Industrial University, pass through the Industrial University, and then return to the multimedia classroom you need to go to," Eddie said, looking at his phone map.

"Then let's go." Rachel said, grabbing her sister, and with a powerful jump, her high heels kicked off the wall twice. She easily scaled the three-meter-high wall. If she hadn't wanted to avoid being too astonishing, she could have just jumped over with them, without needing any leverage.

Eddie also grabbed the two female college students, taking off and landing, crossing to the other side in less than two seconds. Jessica and Lisa followed closely. They just watched Eddie show off. Without female spectators, wouldn't showing off be meaningless?

"Wow, sir, you're amazing!" Merle, with smoky makeup, exclaimed.

"Wow, handsome, you're so great! Do you have a boyfriend?" Paris was a slightly plump girl, very curvaceous but not fat.

Eddie rolled his eyes. "I'm a man, my orientation is normal, so of course I don't have a boyfriend."

"Hehe, I'm sorry, I misspoke. I meant to ask if you have a girlfriend," Paris said with a forced smile.

"Of course I do, but if you want to invite me for coffee, that's fine too. Let's go, this isn't the place for chatting." Eddie shook his head, pulled out his Samurai Edge, and his gaze became very focused.

"Hehe, Rachel, Eddie is very popular," Gina teased.

Rachel scoffed, "Young and rich, any normal woman would like him, it's normal. Just don't get tricked."

The Industrial University was no different from the Medical University, with similar buildings, except the medical laboratory building became the industrial technology building, filled with instruments for practical training.

Unlike the Medical University, there were still security guards patrolling here. It seemed that just across a wall, the treatment was worlds apart.
