Soon kenji, kaito and amaya began searching for akari while she was still fighting with ren when more guards came and cornered the three
"We have to hurry to akari" Kenji commanded as they all began to fight the guards "im going to find akari, cover for me" kaito said as he ran to look for Akari while the others covered him.
As akari was fighting ren, a small dart came and stabbed her in the leg causing her vision to get blurry until it went black
Soon kaito arrived just as they were taking akari away "let go of her" kaito shouted as he ran to her but was quickly blocked by the guards
"Sorry kaito but she's mine" ren said as he carried Akari while kaito began fighting the guards "fire arrows" kaito said as fire arrows came out of his hand and launched at the guards
Not long after kenji and amaya arrived "kaito where's Akari" kenji asked as they began defeating the guards
"Ren took her" kaito replied as he furiously launched a fire attack at the guards which knocked them out
After defeating the guards the three began searching for akari "lets find akari quickly" kaito said as they began running through the forest
"Yes, before she gets to the palace of solana" kenji said. Meanwhile akari woke up in a place she couldn't recognize
"Where am i?" She asked as she got up to see that her hands are tied "hello there princess" a voice echoed through the small shed, it was ren
"What do you want with me?" Akari asked "do you know you're wanted here" Ren replied as he stepped closer to her
"You know you do look beautiful" ren said as he lifted her chin with his finger "what do you mean with that?" Akari asked
"Im saying that if you agree to marry me our bloodline will be the strongest in the two nations" Ren said as he leaned in closer
"In your dreams" akari replied as she pulled her chin away "I'll give you time to think princess" ren said before leaving her alone
Akari then tried to break free from the ropes but they were to strong and her body was too weak from what poison that was stabbed to her while fighting ren
Meanwhile kaito began feeling a huge wave of anher wash over his veins as he began attacking the guards furiously at the guards when kenj realised that kaito was angry
"Hey kaito calm down" kenji said as he patted kaito's back "what's wrong?" Amaya asked as soon as all the guards have been knocked out
"Im fine" kaito replied as he left "where are you going" kenji asked "im going to save akari" kaito said as he leapt from tree to tree
"Its too dangerous kaito" kenji shouted as he chased after kaito "ill be fine kaito replied as he disappeared into the treetops leaving kenji behind
Soon kaito saw a guard walking when he decided to make the guard confess where Akari was.
Without a second thought je dropped down and pointed a kunai at the guards throat "tell me where is she?" Kaito asked sternly, pressing the kunai harder at hir throat
"They're at a shed north from here" the guard answered shaking "very well then" kaito said before vanishing into the night
Meanwhile akari tried her best to break free from the ropes but failed "come on akari you have to save them" akari said to herself as she tried again
"You can't lose them too" she mumbled as she began to feel anger rise within her. Suddenly her palm began to heat up again
"Huh what's wrong with my hand?" Akari thought to herself as jer hand kept heating up when she remembered kaito's story back at the river
"Wait so the hybrid legend is true" she asked herself as she stared at the ceiling then back at her palm as hope flickered in her eyes
"Come on i need to save them" akari muttered trying to ignite a fire in her hands when a small flame flickered in her hand
"Yess!" Akari said to herself as she began to position the fire to burn off tje rope that was tied in her hands
Soon the rope was burnt and she was free, without wasting a second she began to run even though the poison drained out most of her strength
Not long after she escaped when Ren came back "hey princess i got you some food" ren stopped dead in his tracks as he saw the burnt rope
"How did she do this?" ren mumbled as he grabbed the burnt rope from the ground, shocked
A few miles away from the shed was kaito running as fast as he could to reach akari when he saw a figure in the distance
He then took out his kunai as he rushed to it ready to strike, when he recognized the face of the person in front of him
Akari who was weak from the poison tried to fight but lacked the energy to do so. "Akari?" Kaito said as the moon shined on Akari's face
Then kaito soon realized how weak Akari was "kaito" akari mumbled weakly as she began to collapse
"Akari!" Kaito rushed over and caught her "are you okay? What happened?" Kaito asked looking genuinely worried
"The guards, ren, poison" akari mumbled as she pointed at the shed from where she escaped when hen kaito felt that her palm and fingers were hot as if she managed to manipulate fire
Before he could process everything, akari fell asleep in his arms "that must be the poison taking effect on you" kaito said softly before he carried her up bridal style as he leapt into the treetops
"Don't worry I'll take care of you" kaito said as they arrived at the top of a big tree where he set her down gently began making medicine for her
After staying by her side the entire night kaito woke up early and began to get fruits from the trees for them to eat
Later Akari woke up as kaito was treating her wounds "kaito? What happened?" You got poisoned while fighting with ren yesterday" kaito replied
"Where are the others?" Akari asked as she tried to get up "they're fine now stay still while i treat your wounds" kaito said softly
"Their not that painful" akari replied sitting down "we'll look for them later" kaito responded as he finished treating Akari's wounds
