Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: I, Tohsaka Rin, will not become an unfilial daughter just to become a Demon God, absolutely not!

After leaving the Zenjou Residence, while Assassin took on her spirit form, Caster carefully held Rin in her arms, letting her lie comfortably as they rose into the sky and flew quickly toward the Tohsaka Residence.

Rin shifted her head slightly to better feel Caster's soft body and took a deep breath of the fragrance Caster emitted, saying,

"C-Ma, you're so kind."

Caster was taken aback, then a gentle smile appeared on her face.

Fuyuki City, Dock Area.

Hidden behind the containers, Kayneth listened to the King of Conquerors' mockery and silently gritted his teeth.

"Damn it!"

In the Heroic Spirit battlefield, the King of Conquerors was laughing heartily when he suddenly stopped and turned to look around.

"Hey, there are others here, aren't there? Those of you hiding in the shadows and peeping at us."

"What do you mean, Rider?" Saber couldn't help but ask.

Rider gave Saber a thumbs-up and answered calmly,

"Saber and Lancer, the honorable battle between you was truly magnificent. Surely I am not the only one drawn here by the clear sound of clashing swords. Heroic Spirits summoned by the Holy Grail, gather here now!"

The King of Conquerors clenched his fists, raised them above his head, and shouted loudly!

"Those cowards who are afraid to show their faces will inevitably earn the contempt of me, the King of Conquerors Iskandar!"

As soon as he finished speaking, golden particles slowly formed a figure atop a streetlight. Humanity's oldest Gian, Gilgamesh, participates as Archer!

"I didn't expect that in one night, two rats who ignore my presence and call themselves kings would appear."

Tohsaka Residence.

Caster, holding Rin, landed slowly on the road outside the Tohsaka Residence.

Rin leaped gracefully from Caster's arms and landed steadily on the ground.

"C-Ma, give me your Noble Phantasm, and then you follow me in spirit form."

"Yes."

As light condensed in Caster's hand, a lightning-shaped dagger appeared.

"Master, here!"

Then she handed the command seals to Rin.

Rin took the command seals, carefully placed them into her side-slung bag, gave Caster a serious nod, and turned to push open the gates of the Tohsaka Residence.

As Rin turned away, Caster gradually became transparent and disappeared.

Rin returned to the Tohsaka Residence and walked quickly into the basement. Sure enough, Tohsaka Tokiomi was sitting in front of a magically modified gramophone, from which Kirei Kotomine's voice could be clearly heard.

At the Church, Kirei Kotomine was observing the Servant battlefield at the Fuyuki docks through a familiar, and was reporting the situation to Tohsaka Tokiomi through the gramophone. Suddenly, Rin's voice came through the gramophone.

Upon entering the basement, Rin walked carefully behind Tohsaka Tokiomi, but no matter how careful she was, she still alerted him.

Tohsaka Tokiomi turned his head in surprise and looked at his eldest daughter. Hadn't Rin gone with Aoi and Sakura to the Zenjou Residence in the outskirts of Fuyuki City to avoid this Holy Grail War? Why had she returned? Had something happened there? With a head full of doubts, Tokiomi asked Rin with concern,

"Rin, why have you returned? Didn't I say that during the Holy Grail War, you should take good care of your mother and sister and stay at the Zenjou Residence for a week? Did something happen there?"

Looking at the concerned expression on Tohsaka Tokiomi's face, Rin felt a slight pang in her heart. But when she thought of the tragedy that would later befall this family, she steeled herself again. Putting on a sorrowful expression, she replied,

"Father, Zouken Matou attacked the Zenjou Residence. Although Sakura and I did our best to drive him away, Mother fainted during the attack."

Rin's voice was clearly transmitted through the gramophone to the Church. Kirei Kotomine understood that this was the signal Rin had previously agreed upon. This was the last chance to expose Rin's plan to his mentor. He turned to look at Kotomine Risei with some hesitation, as if waiting for him to make a decision.

Kotomine Risei looked at his beloved son, sighed, and nodded firmly. Tokiomi, don't blame me.

Seeing Kotomine Risei nod, Kirei Kotomine immediately resumed his normal expression and reported the latest battlefield situation through the gramophone with a hint of urgency.

"Master, Gilgamesh has become serious; he wants to continue releasing the Gate of Babylon."

The voice from the gramophone interrupted Tohsaka Tokiomi's thoughts. He couldn't worry about Rin; he had to handle both the news from the Heroic Spirit battlefield and the news Rin had brought. With his mind in a state of confusion, Tohsaka Tokiomi turned urgently toward the gramophone and said,

"To continuously display a lethal Noble Phantasm before everyone... how reckless!"

"Teacher, please make a decision!"

Tokiomi slowly raised his right hand and looked at the command spells on the back of his hand. He didn't notice that Rin, behind him, was now holding a lightning-shaped dagger that emitted a cold glint—it was the command seals.

"By this command spell, king of heroes, please quell your anger and withdraw."

As the light of the command spell on his hand glowed, a sharp pain came from his back. Tohsaka Tokiomi turned his head slowly in disbelief. A tearful Rin was plunging a lightning-shaped dagger into the body of her newborn father.

"Rin, why!"

Rin wept, her voice firm as she replied,

"Father, forgive me. I will explain everything to you."

She pulled out the command seals and threw them on the ground. Her hand glowed with healing magecraft, which she applied to Tohsaka Tokiomi's wound. Then she turned her head, wiped her tears with her sleeve, and looked at the golden figure that had appeared.

"Tokiomi, did you call me back so urgently just to watch this play? It is indeed a fine play. Little girl, you are not qualified to be my subject. I allow you to commit suicide to atone for your crimes, mongrel."

Rin pulled up her sleeve, dispersing the Mirage Magecraft that had covered her arm. Dense command spells appeared on her arm; a closer look revealed there were as many as 15 of them (10 from the Church, 2 from Tokiomi's hand, and 3 from Kirei Kotomine). Looking at the slightly frowning Gilgamesh, she said fearlessly,

"king of heroes, I know you don't like my father. In that case, I, Tohsaka Rin, will accompany you through this Holy Grail War. By the order of five strokes of command spells, king of heroes, during the Holy Grail War, you shall recover your lost Holy Grail under my assistance. By the order of five strokes of command spells, king of heroes, yo, please protect me and my allies during the Holy Grail War."

As the command spells took effect, Gilgamesh looked at Rin with a hint of admiration.

"Little girl, I've suddenly become interested in you. Very well, I allow you to serve me as a subject in place of your father for the duration of this Holy Grail War. Now, let your followers manifest."

"Assassin, Caster! Obey the King's command and manifest!"

As Assassin and Caster appeared, Rin walked over to the gramophone and said,

"Kirei, the plan is complete. Please come to the Tohsaka Residence now."

Gilgamesh slowly walked over to the unconscious Tokiomi, picked up the command seals from the floor, and toyed with them with a playful expression.
