"Can't handle a little truth" I taunted mockingly
"Enough!!" Sung-Ho said angrily
I glanced at him coldly
"Let me make it clear to you little girl..., we don't care what you think, your sister will soon start college and that's it, so you will have to contribute" Sung-Ho said
"Yes your dad's right..., you know Bo-Na doesn't really love to study so she isn't on a scholarship like you are and her school isn't luxurious like yours, so can't you pity her and quit school" Sun-Hee said softly as she smiled
I grinned slyly
"Do you guys think that I'm a kid.., Do you think that your tactics of good cop, bad cop will convince me..., pitiful" I said as I giggled softly
Sun-Hee smile faded as her face twisted in anger
"You dirty slut, I'm done trying to be nice" Sun-Hee said as she slapped the table
Sung-Ho raised his hands, stopping Sun-Hee
"And the blue gown you wore yesterday, give it to your sister, she needs new clothes" Sung-Ho said calmly
I glanced at them mockingly
"But why do I find that hard to believe, you guys always buys clothes for her irrespective of your so called bad financial status" I said coldly
"It doesn't matter, you're the older sister so you should learn to care for your younger sister" Sun-Hee said righteously
"Oh, then why doesn't that philosophy apply to you, cuz clearly I'm your daughter but you can't take care of me" I said with crossed arms
"That.... You're already an adult, so you can provide for yourselves" Sun-Hee stammered
I rolled my eyes in frustration
"What did I expect? Idiots will always find a way to make their foolishness seem justified" I said, a cold grin spreading across my face.
"You..you.., well I don't care but if you don't want me to starve you in this house, then you better do as i say" Sun-Hee said coldly
"Finally revealing our true colours, aren't we" I said in disdain
Mom glared at me coldly
"But please I'm very confused about one thing" I said as I tilted my head
"What's that " Sun-Hee asked
" I'm honestly wondering which food you normally give me that you want to starve me of" I asked
"I...I" Sun-Hee said with furrowed brows
"Stumped for words..." I taunted mockingly
"It doesn't matter, we've already made our choice, so this discussion is closed" Sung-Ho said coldly
"Are you forcing me" I asked indifferently
"I thought we were clear enough" Sun-Hee said mockingly
My face went still, the softness gone, replaced by something far colder.
I glanced at her expressions and saw disdain flash past her eyes
"Then let me be clear enough too" I said with narrowed eyes
Sun-Hee glanced at me
"I'm not quitting school no matter what and don't try to force me, cuz the outcome won't be nice" I said calmly
"I...." Sun-Hee said
"But I can reconsider on one condition" I said coldly, cutting her off
"Go on, spit it out. Maybe I'll consider fulfilling your request" Sun-Hee said, flicking her hand dismissively.
I smirked coldly
"Then get down on your knees and beg then maybe I will reconsider quitting school for your stupid daughter " I said coldly
