the everlasting grin which stood across his face began to disappear slowly after the call, looking at the tracking device was enough for this effect to occur, the aura which burned brightly few minutes ago was totally diminished and couldn't be located anymore.
" you cant hide anymore, its only a matter of time before you're found " the smile crept back to his face a highly disturbing smile.
of all the agents of the druids, Ben was the most frightening, whenever he fixes his mind on something, he wont be calm until he's achieved it and is been a while since something this bizarre occurred hence he was in his element once more .
" I want info on everyone in that residential area, every single person. my intuition has never been wrong before and something tells me this aura is from a resident there. I need names, power types and power levels as well as their family names every fucking person within a 50 mile radius from there as well... I wanna see how much you can hide"
upon hi orders the junior agents in the same facility began to scramble across papers and screens bringing up information requested by Ben.
they all knew you could mess with every other higher up and whatever they do to you is not even 10% compared to what Ben could do, this was because of his ability which was one of the purest and strongest among the druids.
it had been a very long time since they last saw Ben like this and the least they could do is assist him in his mischievous inquisitions else the repercussion would be unbearable.

" the aura which comes with the demonic powers in you is very strong and hence can be spotted from even 10 galaxies away although nobody really pays interest to the matters of the demon race, it is different with the druids, your aura is like a broadcast that their servers have picked up and in the space of a few hours they'd have pinpointed your exact location and you'd be exterminated" the figure explained slowly to Ling the reason why he should suppress his aura at all times until he's as strong as the aura he was producing.
" uhmm , Mr demon creature you don't know what its like to be treated differently all the time due to lack of power, I finally have that power and tho I don't know how to suppress the aura I don't think I would if I did know how to . this aura would make everyone to finally accord a kind of respect to me and most of them would want to be close to me too you know , I wont be treated like this anymore....." still in the process of arguing his cause the system sent a message

" The good thing is the system is automatic, you might not understand it right now but this is for your safety. you might possess that aura doesn't mean you're of same power level and for such reasons you have to always turn off or suppress your aura to avoid detection until you've gathered enough strength that's my advice to you.
you might have this aura but you're lacking in power and as such you have to improve , most of the things you'll need to improve your skills to basic their as well as unlock some new skills are stored in your inventory in the system and the most important one is currently on you. the necklace which was given to you from your parents is a buffer that increases all stats and attacks by 50% when activated .
you'll get to know how to activate it in due time you also have to put more efforts in your physical training to prepare your body for the extent of power you're about to manifest" staring grimly at the boy the creature spoke once again .

Ling couldn't really understand something but he understood one thing and that was the fact that he had awakened a power that nobody in the world accepted and he had to be strong enough to fight for his survival as well as that of his clan sibling which he was yet to find.
this new life which he was about to live in was clothed in mystery and the only way to unlock them all was to become stronger .
holding the necklace around his neck which was a sign the mystery surrounding his life had began long time before he even discovered it.
the necklace was with him for as long as he could remember, it was one of the few things his parents had left him which the military had given to him considering he never met them as they died in the war.
there were various buffers in the current world and none of them had the ability to increase stats and strength by 50%, the strongest buffers increased stats by 20% meaning if the military had even the slightest clue as to what the necklace was it would've never gotten to him and they'd do everything in their power to replicate I for themselves.
he wants to be strong and he needed it to happen fast because at the moment it seemed like the only way his life would make more sense is if he got stronger and with the help of this system he would be able to do just that in a matter of time.

compared to the world before, technology had advanced a million times and humans now occupied not only earth but every other planet in their solar system as well as a few planets across nearby solar systems, transportation was also more easier as all they needed was a portal device to travel between distances, trains still existed but they also used larger portal devices to cover larger areas under a shorter period, car were also in existence as well as ships but there was no use for airplanes and jets as their uses were outdone by the portals.
warships were created for battles above land, carrier ships were also created for transportation to higher tier cities.
every planet inhabited by humans had 4 tier cities, a sub tier city which was underground and was the dangerous of them all, tier 3 city was on the surface but wasn't really monitored by law enforcers and hence was no better than the sub tier city.
the tier 2 city was fully protected and used energy from beast crystals to light up the city , it was the purest and most reliable type of energy source.
the top tier city which was built on a different kind of energy source which wasn't disclosed to the public. it is a city floating several thousand feats away from the earth and was occupied by high ranking officials although most original families had these cities for themselves.
Ling lived in the tier 3 city hence security wasn't very guaranteed and to top it all up he was a low power individual hence school wasn't the only place where he often got bullied or harassed.
walking calmly through the streets leading back to his apartment his hood was on to prevent any of his oppressors to recognize him but the plans failed.
" now if it isn't the lizard , hehehehhehehheehhe... now tell me what you have for us?"
upon hearing these voices Ling increased the pace of his walk but was quickly obstructed and punched in the stomach, he fell back in pain dropping the bag he had and clutched his stomach tightly.
beatings came from all sides and he was doing a bad job obstructing these punches

immediately the last message came up, he stopped feeling the pain around him and looking up he saw a blue substance leaving the 4 people attacking him and entering into the area where his newly gained tattoo was located.
after a few minutes they all dropped dead,Ling was surprised as to what just happened, he immediately picked up his food in the bag and proceeded towards his apartment.

upon arriving at his apartment he tried activating the soul consumption ability but it was a locked skill which required him to be at least a half demon to use, this meant only one thing and that was the fact that the system acted to protect him.

" I think your search is coming to an end soon, I'm certain it's a student but I don't have an Identity yet .....no sir he was hooded ... okay sir" she dropped her phone and practically vanished into thin air.
