" how're your preparations for the military drafting tomorrow then ?" the man on the other end of the phone asked keenly
" I'm already prepared , just hoping everything goes according to plan and he's also in same military base as me , although I haven't been able to find him yet but I'm certain he's a finalist too" she answered bluntly
" well I've ensured that every finalist from that college are drafted for military base 3 so you'd definitely see him there just keep up your keen senses an don't let your identity be revealed no matter what " the man answered strongly over the phone
" base 3, that's one of the most complex bases in the realm." a frown could been seen on her face as she complained about the military base which they were being posted to
" well I have a side job for you, you have to meet up with someone of utmost importance , he'd be escaping from his imprisonment today so he'd be available for the military drafting tomorrow , I'll send you an ID of what he looks like so you'd be able to recognize him, always use the secret phrase for confirmation" the man took a deep pause before continuing " and don't forget to tell me if you notice anything off about anyone " he said finally
now that he talked about it she remembered trying to use her abilities on Ling an it didn't work out and although she didn't see it as much as of then but now it really struck her as something entirely different, the only person who'd be able to resist her abilities is someone who was three times stronger than her and he didn't seem like that kind of person
" well now that you bring it up , there's this boy named Ling and for some reason I couldn't use my mind invasion abilities on him and it thought it was out of exhaustion but I could use my puppet master abilities properly on two other students over a wide range and mind invasion is weaker than puppet master tho it should be more effective over a short distance but it wasn't . the most intriguing fact about this is that he had little to no aura eminence " she stated her observations of Ling bluntly
" it is very possible that you've already met him , that could be him but lets not be so sure tho I want you to keep a keen eye on him but don't rule out the possibility that he could still be out there , I've put everything in place goodluck on your mission and also keep those druids in the blind " the man stated before going offline
she walked around the room before opening the window and son after a dark mist came towards her and she took it and fused it with herself .
her ability worked in a very bizarre way, she had to receive information from what the clone was doing in this form and then ask the clone to do other things while carrying out its usual functions and daily activities .
this was the nature of her demon clone technique and it could function for over thanks of miles because of her power strength although any damage to the clone would reduce her health point .
" what an idiot" she chuckled and went back to sleep

finally arriving at base 3 , all the finalists from their college had now left the train and stood in front of the base gate as the train continued into a different portal leading to a different base , all through their ride she hadn't really spoken much with Ling .
she couldn't understand why his attitude towards er suddenly changed few minutes after they saw themselves and greeted , after that point he didn't speak to her till they got here and he hadn't spoken to her still
upon arrival at the base reception, they all picked up the watch kept on the counter for each of them , putting it on they walked into an arena like looking place
she looked around the entire place looking for the person whom she was meant to unite with after searching tirelessly she finally gave up, then while returning back to where Ling was stationed she bumped into someone and it was him.
smiling as she touched his arm this allowed her to speak with him psychically
" guess I finally found you " she smiled
