Seeing that Robin Morgan had finally arrived, Phoebe Faulkner smiled. She turned, pulled a wrapped gift from her bag, and walked over to him.
She stopped in front of him and held out the gift.
"Happy birthday, Robin Morgan!"
Phoebe Faulkner's eyelashes curved as she smiled. She playfully punched him on the shoulder. "You look crazy handsome today!"
Robin Morgan stared at Phoebe Faulkner, who was right in front of him.
His eyes were so full of her smiling face that he didn't even reach out for the gift she was offering.
Howie and Chad stood off to the side, watching the pair in the center of the hall.
Seeing Robin still looking as clueless as ever about how to woo a girl, they were dying of secondhand anxiety. Chad, in particular, felt this keenly. He knew he was no match for Phoebe in any regard, but knowing that Robin was in love with her was the one thing he could hold his head high about.
He was dying to just shout it out right then and there.
