The room was filled with shock.
Guests whispered. Some stood up. Others simply stared, unable to understand what was happening.
Her fiancé's expression darkened.
"Who are you?" he asked sharply.
But the man didn't even look at him.
His eyes were fixed on her.
Only her.
"I'm the one she still loves," he said.
Gasps echoed across the hall.
Her breath caught in her throat.
Everything she had tried to hide… was now standing in front of everyone.
"This is nonsense," her fiancé snapped. "You can't just walk in here and—"
"I can," he interrupted.
His voice was calm now. Firm.
"Because this isn't just a wedding. This is her life."
The room fell silent again.
He took a step forward.
"I waited. I suffered. I tried to forget her…"
His voice broke slightly.
"But I couldn't."
His eyes softened as he looked at her.
"Because she never left my heart."
Tears filled her eyes.
This wasn't supposed to happen.
He wasn't supposed to come.
And yet…
He did.
