The Uchiha clan is a proud clan. When mocking others, one must emphasize the nobility of their eyes and their Uchiha bloodline.
Now that he had Uchiha blood, if he acted out of character, he would be disgracing the Uchiha name.
That was what Shinta Uchiha believed.
And so, that was what he would do.
"What's different about your eyes?"
Nikaidou Shiro would never be convinced by such a ridiculous pretense.
She demanded Shinta Uchiha provide far more concrete proof.
"Hmm, simply put… We Uchiha are a clan of love. When we watch someone important die before our eyes, or experience something that shatters our mind, the grief triggers special hormones that stimulate our eyes. Tomoe appear in our irises, even the **Mangekyō Sharingan**, and we gain mysterious power."
"And this power is to let us make up for our regrets. When faced with the same tragedy, we can save those we couldn't save before, undo the regrets we couldn't undo before."
Shinta Uchiha explained the **Sharingan**'s lore perfectly earnestly.
It was necessary, to let outsiders admire the nobility and power of the Uchiha bloodline.
Unfortunately, the people present didn't exactly buy it.
"Uchiha-kun… is a **chuuni**!?" Sakuraba Emma muttered quietly to herself.
Nikaidou Shiro suddenly raised her hand, and based on Shinta's explanation, she shot back: "Wait a minute. So you're saying the Uchiha are a race that ties love to extreme, crippling pain?"
"Yes, exactly. That's one way to put it."
Shinta Uchiha thought for a moment and nodded.
That was exactly how the Uchiha were.
"…Immense, crippling grief can easily twist that so-called love into equal parts obsession, pain, and madness."
"And these negative emotions drive people to extremes, make them lose control, and hurt others."
Nikaidou Shiro placed one hand on her hip, pointed the other at Shinta Uchiha, and delivered a rebuttal just like the **Second Hokage**, Tobirama Senju.
"In conclusion, this extreme, high-risk, out-of-control race is the evil that needs to be corrected. It has no right to define what is right!"
"That's a one-sided, wrong, biased, unscientific, **Senju old man**'s take on the Uchiha!" Shinta Uchiha shot back instantly.
Ugh, why are red-eyed people so mean? Always picking on us naturally kind Uchiha.
Sure, the Uchiha had that genius with max intelligence who was stupid enough to kill his entire family, that sickly older brother, and that guy who thought he was saving the world but was actually destroying it, Black Zetsu's puppet.
But those were just outliers!
"Shiro-chan, Uchiha-kun, please stop fighting."
Sakuraba Emma weakly tried to defuse the tension between them.
Shiro-chan, why are you arguing with a **chuuni** about his made-up lore?
It's obvious this stuff isn't real!
Wait… If she wanted to be friends with Uchiha-kun, who'd protected Yuki-chan, did she need to go along with this vibe?
In a corner no one was paying attention to, Yuki Tsukishiro's empty eyes suddenly gained a glint of life.
Unlike Sakuraba Emma, she took every word Shinta Uchiha said as fact, and deduced a perfectly logical conclusion.
Trigger a taboo, gain power, and become extreme in the process.
Wasn't that exactly witchification, caused by the Witch Factor?
Yes yes yes, that's it, wait no, something didn't add up!
"…The Witch Factor must have mutated in a way I didn't expect during transmission."
Yuki Tsukishiro didn't dwell on the thought for long. Having quickly figured out the abnormality in Shinta's eyes, she silently began to assess her situation.
Either way, this new transfer student had completely derailed her script.
If she let him keep running wild, she'd never complete her plan to execute all of humanity and get her revenge.
She had to eliminate this random, unknown variable.
Or… She could add this uniquely special boy to her script, make him a part of the story.
The Great Witch thought for a moment, decided to hold back, observe, and decide later.
"I am right. You need to be corrected."
"I am the one who is right. You are the one who needs to be corrected."
Clinging to the words "right" and "evil", their clashing personalities turned Shinta Uchiha and Nikaidou Shiro into sworn enemies.
Just like in Naruto, red-eyed people obsessed with "evil" were natural, mortal enemies of the Uchiha.
Sakuraba Emma, watching from the sidelines, grew more and more anxious by the second.
She wanted to stop this absurd fight, but… in this eerie atmosphere, she had no way to intervene.
And so, Emma tripped!
Shinta Uchiha and Nikaidou Shiro noticed the accident at the exact same time, and both reacted instantly, reaching out to catch the falling Emma.
The result? Shinta Uchiha, being closer, caught Sakuraba Emma first.
"You okay?"
Shinta Uchiha ignored Nikaidou's anxious gaze, lowered his head, and asked in a deliberately soft voice.
"I-I'm fine… I'm sorry, I'm so clumsy, I always hurt myself by accident."
**Sakuraba Emma** apologized quietly, then added: "Uchiha-kun, you're so kind!"
"Ahem, good to hear."
Shinta Uchiha turned his head quickly, trying to look indifferent, and hide his face which had turned bright red like a flustered schoolboy.
This was all to maintain his cool, aloof heartthrob persona.
But the movement also made him notice the bully **total dumb goldfish** he'd absolutely destroyed earlier.
Most of them were unconscious.
Guess… he'd hit them pretty hard when he was ranting.
Ah, would he get expelled for this?
Shinta Uchiha suddenly felt a twinge of anxiety.
In his memory, fighting and misbehaving got you punished.
But then he noticed something very wrong.
Come to think of it, ever since their argument started, everyone had been so absorbed in the conversation that they'd completely ignored these background characters.
That was definitely not normal.
Who the hell has a normal chat in the middle of a battlefield full of unconscious people?
Was this… related to the **Otsutsuki**?
Shinta Uchiha glanced at Yuki Tsukishiro out of the corner of his eye.
This slightly off-kilter girl sat perfectly still, like a doll, her pale face never losing that smile, no matter what.
She's helping me! Yuki Tsukishiro is actually a good person!
For a split second, Shinta Uchiha, feeling like he'd been helped, had this thought.
But he immediately smacked his own cheek.
How could that be? Shinta, what are you fantasizing about? It's not like you haven't watched Naruto!
**Otsutsuki** are inherently evil alien invaders. Yuki Tsukishiro is definitely a villain! And I will never change my stance, just like Uchiha Izuna-senpai, I will bite at her like a rabid dog!
I bet my IQ, which is higher than L's, this is the one and only truth of this world!
