*The King of the Abyss Awakens…*
The silence that followed Malachis was not peaceful. It was like an empty space.
The Sovereign stood in the middle of a hole in the ground. Her hair was very special. It was black on one side and silver on the other side. The wind was blowing her hair around even though it shouldn't have been blowing all. Behind her a big wolf with two heads was making a humming noise. This noise was so strong that it was making the trees around them break apart into grey ash.
[Status: Soul-Merge at 85%.]
[Warning: Elara and Mina are losing themselves to 'The Primeval'.]
A small voice was calling out from inside the Sovereigns mind. Itwas Mina. She was scared. "Elara stop... Please stop. This is too much for me... The dark is too heavy..."
The Sovereign didn't say anything. She just tilted her head. Looked at her hands. Her black claws were. Now she had fingers that looked like they were made of stars and smoke.
"Is it really too much?" the Sovereign asked. Her voice was very beautiful. It made everyone who heard it feel something deep inside. "Or is it what we needed?"
Lucian took a step back. He was holding a cane with a silver head and it was shaking. He didn't look smug anymore. Now he looked very serious. He had played a game and now he wasn't sure if he would win. He hadn't thought about the Eclipse Sovereign. He hadn't thought about the Key.
"You have made a mistake Elara " Lucian said quietly. "You didn't just merge with your sister. You opened the door to the First Alpha. This is a powerful being that the Moon Goddess had to lock away a long time ago."
[Alert: The First Alpha is here!]
[Power Level: We cannot measure it.]
The black key on the back of the Sovereigns neck started to glow with a green light. The wolfs dark half let out a roar and started to change. It grew big horns and wings made of shadows.
"I can't hold it!" Elaras voice was screaming. She was trying to control her arm but it wasn't working.
She hit the ground with her fist. It didn't just break. It started to rot. A big circle of rot spread out from where she hit. It turned the whole area into a wasteland.
In the distance the Alphas of the North. Including Dante. Fell to their knees. They don't know why. Their inner wolves were scared and they're submitting to something. The King of the Abyss was. He was using Elaras body to do it.
"Lucian, please!" the Sovereign. Or what was left of Elara. Was roaring. "Close the door! You have to stop this!"
Lucian took out a pocket watch. Started to press buttons. "I can't do it! Our deal was for your soul, Elara. Not for the Void King! If he wakes up he will eat your sisters soul first!"
[Emergency Quest: Save the Sovereign.]
[Objective: Stop the merge to save Mina.]
[Penalty: If you do this you will lose most of your power. Go back to being weak.]
Elara looked at her reflection in her black claws. She saw Minas face behind her eye. If she didn't let go Mina would be gone forever. If she did let go she would go back to being the girl she used to be.
"I died already " Elara said quietly. "I will'nt let my sister die because of me."
[Skill Activated: Soul-Sever!]
Elara reached into her chest and grabbed the thread that connected her to Mina. She pulled it. Broke it.
There was an explosion but it was silent. It flattened all the trees around them.
When the light went away the Sovereign was gone.
Mina was lying on the ground breathing slowly. Her hair was white again. The white wolf was curled around her. She was alive and safe.
But Elara...
Elara was back in her form sitting in the middle of the hole. Her skin was pale and sickly and the fire in her eyes were gone. The scars on her chest was bleeding again. She was very weak.

[Status: Critical.]
Lucian walked over to her looking at her with a mix of pity and annoyance. "You are a fool, Elara. You had the power to change everything. You threw it away for a girl who don't even remember you.
Elara looked up at him smiling. "Mina is alive. That is all that matters.
"Maybe " Lucian said, closing his pocket watch. ". The Alphas are still coming for you. And they don't care about your sister. They care about the fact that you're weak."
A low growl came from the trees. Dozens of eyes appeared and Dante was at the front. He had seen the explosion. He had seen Elara fall.
"Look at you " Dante sneered, stepping into the hole. "You are a weak girl in a dirty tunic."
He raised his claws to hit her. A cold hand caught his wrist. It was not Elaras hand.
Mina stood up her eyes glowing with a scary intensity. The white wolf behind her was standing tall its fur turning into blades.
"You touched my sister once " Mina said, her voice sounding like a storm. "You will'nt touch her again."

Dantes eyes widened as the silver light started to burn his skin.. Before he could scream a shadow appeared behind Mina. It was the two-headed wolf. It had changed masters.
Who is really, in charge of the Eclipse. What will Elara do now that she is weak again?
