Jay POV
As school ended, I stood up from my seat.
"Edrix, stop a minute."
The whole section froze.
I walked toward Edrix slowly. He looked nervous already.
"Edrix, look at my phone. There's an app in it called OTJ101 and it's not getting deleted. Please delete it."
Edrix looked everywhere except at me.
"I can't, Jay."
"You didn't even look at it. And you're good at this stuff, right?"
Edrix still avoided my eyes.
"I just can't."
Then he looked at Keifer.
And suddenly… everything made sense.
But even then, I wanted to hear the truth from his mouth.
"What is it? Don't lie to me."
Edrix slowly took my phone from my hand and opened the app.
"See? You could do it. Now tell me why it was in my phone."
Edrix swallowed hard before speaking.
"I installed it in your phone. Its name is Operation Tracking Jay 101. It was to track you… so we could help you and know who you were talking to and chatting with."
My jaw tightened.
"Whose phone was it connected to?"
Edrix slowly looked toward Keifer.
I laughed bitterly.
"You really wanted to fulfill your plan, huh? Why was that app there?"
Keifer stepped forward quickly.
"It was to know if you were safe or not—"
"By invading my privacy?" I cut him off sharply. "I can't believe you."
The anger inside me exploded.
I grabbed my phone and threw it at Keifer.
He moved sideways just in time.
The phone crashed against the classroom wall, shattering completely.
It was supposed to hit his face.
Silence filled the room.
No one dared to speak.
I grabbed my bag and walked out of the classroom before anyone could stop me.
I reached the parking lot where Aries was already waiting inside the car. I quickly got in.
"Ella, I'll drop you home first," Aries said softly. "I need to get my stuff afterward and take Jay home."
"Okay, Aries."
The drive was quiet.
After dropping Ella home, we finally reached ours.
The moment we entered, I saw everyone packing. Kuya Angelo was leaving for London.
"Jay, I'm leaving," Kuya Angelo said while fixing his coat. "Security has been increased, okay? Bye."
"Bye, Kuya."
He turned to leave, but suddenly I rushed forward and hugged him tightly.
"I love you, Kuya."
Angelo smiled warmly and hugged me back.
"I love you too, Jay."
After he left, Aries walked closer.
I hugged him next.
"I love you too, Kuya Ari."
He chuckled softly.
"I love you too, troublemaker."
I let go of him, and he headed toward Ella's house.
Then Tita Gema came toward me.
"I love you, Tita."
She smiled gently before kissing my forehead.
"I love you too, Jay."
Next came Lola.
"I love you, Lola."
She smiled lovingly and pushed a strand of my hair behind my ear.
"I love you too."
The two of them walked outside.
Then Mom came.
The smile on my face disappeared instantly.
Without thinking, I stepped backward.
Her eyes stayed cold.
"Jay, think carefully about what I said. You have two days. Think properly and make your decision neatly."
She paused before saying the words that shattered something inside me once again.
"And remember… you are a slut."
Then she left.
The door closed.
And the house became silent.
I stood there for a few seconds, unable to move.
Then slowly, I walked upstairs to my room.
I continued packing the remaining things quietly.
Because deep inside…
I think my decision is right.
