Chapter 7 - The Rogue Vanguard

Act I: The Outlaw DeclarationThe episode opens in a damp, hidden underground bunker far outside the capital's jurisdiction. Rain pours outside, mirroring the dark mood within. The Silverlight family has stripped themselves of all guild badges and royal insignia.Arthur: Slamming his fist onto a wooden crate, his face shadowed with a grim, dangerous edge. The king declared us traitors this morning. They are freezing our assets and sending the Royal Inquisitors to hunt us down. We are outlaws now.Eleanor: Quietly wrapping fresh bandages around Hiria's blue, frostbitten arm, her eyes filled with a terrifying, protective rage. Let them come. A kingdom that tries to slaughter its own protectors deserves to burn.Yurto: Spreading a massive, hand-drawn map of the capital's royal guard barracks onto the table. We cannot fight them head-on. We need a tactical retreat to regroup, build a rebellion network, and—Hiria: Standing up abruptly, his eyes completely bloodshot and hollow. His voice is a chilling, raspy whisper. No. No more running. No more playing by their rules. They tried to execute us. They deserve to feel what it's like to burn alive.Yurto: Stepping in front of him, trying to lock eyes. Hiria, look at your arm! Your ice magic is already killing you! You can't cast another high-tier spell without freezing your own heart!Hiria: A dark, vengeful smile creeping onto his face. Who said anything about using ice?Act II: The Blueprint of RevengeWhile Hiria slips away into the back of the cave, Yurto sits at the table, rubbing his temples in deep exhaustion. Mina steps up beside him, placing a cup of bitter herbal tea in front of him and leaning over the tactical map.Mina: Voice calm, analytical, and fiercely maternal. You are overthinking their defensive wall, Master Yurto. The Royal Guard relies on rigid, predictable formations. They expect an outlaw family to run to the borders. They do not expect us to strike their supply lines.Yurto: Looking up at her, a spark of clarity hitting his eyes. The underground aqueducts. We can bypass their wall entirely, slip into their armory, and liberate the magical weapons they confiscated from local guilds. If we arm the oppressed citizens, the royal family loses their grip on the city.Mina: Nodding slowly. Exactly. We play the long game. We build an army from the shadows. But you must watch Lord Hiria, Yurto. The cold in his soul is turning into a volatile, dangerous heat. A man driven by pure vengeance is a liability to his own family.Act III: The Midnight SlaughterCut to a fortified Royal Guard checkpoint on the outskirts of the capital. Ten heavily armored inquisitors stand guard, laughing as they count gold stolen from local merchants.Suddenly, the torches blow out. A terrifying, oppressive heat fills the air. From the darkness walks fifteen-year-old Hiria. He isn't holding his staff. Instead, he channels his raw, overflowing arcana into a dangerous, forbidden form. With a sickening hiss, the frostbitten blue veins on his arm flash a violent, molten red.SHING!Two colossal, jagged swords made of pure, white-hot compressed fire erupt directly from his hands. The heat is so intense it literally melts the stone floor beneath his boots.Royal Inquisitor: Drawing his sword, sweating profusely. Halt! It's the Silverlight traitor! Take his—Before the inquisitor can finish, Hiria vanishes in a burst of scorching steam. He reappears directly in front of the guard. With a cold, merciless expression, Hiria unleashes a brutal, blindingly fast slash. The fire sword cuts cleanly through the heavy steel armor, vaporizing the inquisitor instantly into a pile of ash.Hiria: Eyes burning with demonic fury, his voice echoing with two distinct tones. You want to hunt my family? Let's see how long you survive the crucible!Hiria goes on a terrifying, brutal rampage. He doesn't just defeat them—he punishes them. He slashes through another guard's legs, leaving him to burn in agony on the dirt road. Another inquisitor tries to run, but Hiria hurls a fire sword like a javelin, impaling the man through the chest and detonating the blade in a violent explosion of red-hot sparks. He brutally executes four more guards in a matter of seconds, his face splattered with soot and blood.Act IV: Breaking the BeastHiria lifts his flaming blade over the final, whimpering captain of the guard, who is begging for his life on his knees.Hiria: Breathing heavily, a manic, vengeful grin on his face. Die.CLANG!!A heavy steel shortsword deflections Hiria's fire blade mid-air. Yurto stands between Hiria and the captain, his teeth gritted against the overwhelming heat. Behind him, Asher's shiny holy wings unfold, creating a barrier of light to keep the flames back, while Zora's organic arms morph into heavy shields to restrain Hiria from behind.Yurto: Shouting through the smoke. HIRIA! STOP! THAT'S ENOUGH!Hiria: Thrashing wildly in Zora's flesh-bound grip, his fire swords flaring violently. LET ME GO! THEY TOOK EVERYTHING FROM US! THEY DESERVE TO BURN! I'M NOT LEAVING ANY OF THEM ALIVE!Yurto: Slamming the pommel of his sword against Hiria's chest, forcing him to look at him. Look at yourself! You're not protecting us right now—you're torturing them! We are outlaws, Hiria, not monsters! If we become just like the corrupt royal family, then everything we fought for is meaningless!Hiria stares at Yurto's fierce, tear-filled eyes. The dangerous, molten red glow in his veins slowly begins to fade. The fire swords flicker and dissolve into harmless smoke. Instantly, the severe physical toll hits Hiria's body—the sudden shift from sub-zero ice to white-hot fire tears his muscle tissue apart. He gasps, collapsing into Zora's arms, completely unconscious as dark blood leaks from his mouth.Zora: Retracting his arms with a grim expression, looking down at his younger brother. His heart rate is totally erratic, Yurto. He's burning himself alive from the inside out to cope with the trauma.Yurto: Turning his back on the smoking checkpoint, his face hardened. Grab him. We leave. The kingdom knows we are dangerous now.As the brothers carry Hiria back into the shadows of the forest, the lone surviving guard captain trembles in the mud, staring at the ash and ruin left behind by the dark vanguard of the Silverlight family.[Screen fades to black.]
