The days went by one after another. Jin moved from one type of lecture to another, covering all sorts of subjects.
His first week focused more on academics than combat, so he ended up with a ton of homework.
"Damn it, so much homework!" Jin sighed, exhausted.
"Catherine isn't just a fucking crazy, even the assignments she gives us are ridiculous and way too complicated."
He reviewed what he'd learned, muttering to himself, "What kind of monsters was that… damn… those lizard things with long tails and human-like bodies… what were they called… hmm?"
He scratched his head and said, "Oh, right, Kobolds."
"And their weaknesses… hmm, what were they?"
He glanced quickly at the book, trying to read, "Oh yeah… lights and freezing cold."
Jin kept going over the lessons, trying to memorize them.
And that's how his days passed for almost a month.
During that month, Jin had only three main subjects to study, sometimes it was about Chaos Creatures, other times it was the history of the continents.
As for combat classes, they were just physical training and fitness.
Jin and the other students didn't actually learn a single fighting technique from John.
Jin sighed and said, "What a total waste of time!"
Unlike usual, this year's category "B" students were ridiculously stupid, so much so that the reputation of this category became the worst in the academy's history.
Because of that, the teachers cranked up the lessons and made the tests harder, turning the classes into a nightmare for Jin.
"Damn… my head's starting to hurt," Jin muttered, running his hand through his hair in frustration as he struggled to absorb the material for the exams.
Jin, who was ahead of his classmates on the first day, now found himself struggling just to reach their level.
It wasn't that Jin lacked intelligence he was actually very smart.
Still, he spent the month fighting to collect enough points, dragged down by the advanced level of his classmates.
His previous knowledge mostly came from fantasy stories, cookbooks, and other casual hobbies, leaving him unprepared for the strict demands of his current studies.
The other students, however, already had some knowledge about various Chaos creatures, having encountered these creatures through their wealthy families or at museums.
Wealthy families kept the corpses of these creatures to study and dissect them, teaching their children about them from a young age.
Ordinary people, on the other hand, would visit museums to see these creatures and learn about them.
Jin, however, had only come across a few Chaos Creatures.
For example, goblins and hobgoblins were similar in appearance, but differed in their weaknesses and abilities.
" my head is going to explode," Jin was frustrated.
He looked at the remaining assignments, "How in the hell am I going to finish this in just one week?"
Jin felt bored and decided to take a little risk. "I'll try to visit Amun's tomb, just for a bit, it won't hurt, right?"
After several minutes of hesitation, he summoned the paper then he went to Amon's tomb.
Then he entered the tomb. "Ah, I missed this place."
Jin would always escape to the tomb to find peace and contemplation.
He sat down, observing the surroundings, then he requested to see his statistics.

Jin looked at his stats with a smile. "Finally… my rank changed."
"But what's a Lurien?"
He pulled out a piece of paper and asked, "What's a Lurien?"
The answer appeared on the paper: "The one who has a dream."
Jin sighed. "As expected… a useless answer."
He hid his stats and then sat down to realx in the tomp.
Jin kept relaxing in the Amon Cemetery until he completely forgot he had an exam the next day…

A month passed, and winter arrived. This year's winter was harsh and bitter.
Most of Anvil's residents stayed inside their homes and shelters, seeking refuge from the cold.
Because of the severe weather and the departure of several merchants from the city, the remaining resources had already dropped by about 23% compared to last year.
Normally, during winter, many cities would buy oak woods from regions rich with those trees.
Anvil was one of those cities that desperately needs oak woods to keep their homes warm.
But this year, the catastrophic weather made accessing these resources nearly impossible.
Elena sat in her modest home, staring at the sky and blowing on her hands to warm them.
"Winter's really cold this time," she muttered.
Meanwhile, Morgan sat in a café, sipping his warm coffee and reading the newspaper.
"Saint Adam announced his retirement? for saint's sake … why?!"
He took a sip and flipped through the pages again.
"The Ourar family joined the Shanzo family… what a pointless shit!"...
Everyone in the city was busy with something, trying to cope with the bitter cold.
One mother was cooking porridge for her hungry children.
"Mom! Mom! I'm hungry!"
"Ha ha, wait a little… the porridge will be ready soon."
Elsewhere, an old man played with his dog, keeping it warm in his arms.
A drunk villager shouted at a waitress, "Bring more wine, you slut!"
In another corner, lovers exchanged kisses and hugs, trying to feel some warmth in the freezing air.
Meanwhile, Sai and a group of nine people were outside the city walls, searching for a missing officer.
"Oh, can you hear us, Edman?"
Everyone called out, "Edman! You need to return immediately the winter is getting worse!"
All of Anvil's residents were busy with their own problems, unaware of a gate that had opened on a high hill to the north of the city.
The sound of heavy footsteps echoed, but no one noticed due to the thick snowfall.
The creature moved until it stood on the edge of the hill, gripping a long katana.
It looked down at the piles of flesh at the bottom of the hill with hollow, gloomy gaze devoid of any emotions.
The creature was three meters tall and looked almost like human.
Its eyes were crimson red, and its body was made of stone.
Behind it, hundreds of golem creatures appeared.
The snow continued to fall heavily on the hideous creature which stood still for a moment.
The hideous creature looking down at Anvil from the hill was a demonic statue...
