"Boss, we just got information… tomorrow that boy, Om… his clinic is opening."
One of Singhania's men said, standing in front of him inside his office.
Singhania leaned back in his chair, eyes narrowing slightly.
"Hmm… his clinic, huh? Where exactly?"
"In the Green Area… that's what our source says,"
the man replied, a little nervous.
"Green Area?"
Singhania repeated slowly, his tone turning sharp.
"How the hell did he even get permission to open a clinic there? …Oh right, the mayor's pet dog."
He smirked, but his eyes stayed cold.
"But still… who is this guy? Where did he suddenly come from? I've never heard of anyone like him before. Fine, he's backed by the mayor… but even then, opening a clinic in the Green Area this quickly…"
He paused, thinking deeply.
"Who exactly are you, Om…"
Then he waved his hand dismissively.
"You can go. And listen—tell our men to dig out everything about that boy. I want his full background. Let's see where this 'Om' suddenly came from."
As the man left, Singhania muttered to himself—
"No matter what… I won't tolerate his clinic running in that area. That boy needs to be taught a lesson."
His expression hardened.
Something dark was already forming in his mind.
Meanwhile…
Seema and Anshika had finished dinner with Om and his family.
After getting all the necessary signatures, they decided to leave before it got too late.
The moment they stepped out of the house—
Seema turned toward Anshika.
"Darling… you were acting really strange today. What's going on in your head?"
Anshika had a soft smile on her face—
A different one.
Seema noticed it… and also noticed that Anshika wasn't answering.
So she grabbed her lightly and shook her.
"Hey! What's wrong with you?"
"Huh? What happened?"
Anshika snapped out of it.
"What happened to me? What happened to you? You've been acting weird for a while now."
Seema said, slightly annoyed.
Anshika looked ahead…
Then smiled.
"I think… I've fallen in love."
She said it casually—
Almost dreamily.
Seema froze.
Right there.
"What?! You're in love? With who?"
Anshika smiled wider, opening the car door.
"Who else… with my dear Om."
That hit Seema like another shock.
At the Same Time…
Inside the house—
Om was climbing the stairs toward his room.
But suddenly—
He stopped.
His expression changed instantly.
His face turned serious.
His eyes sharpened.
Something felt… off.
Back in the Car
Seema and Anshika had already left.
As they drove, the conversation continued—
All about Om.
"But how did you suddenly fall in love with him?"
Seema asked, still confused.
Anshika looked ahead, then at Seema, then back at the road.
"How? I don't know… the more I think about him, the more I want to understand him. I feel bad for him… from the bottom of my heart. When he smiles, I feel like smiling… when he's sad, I feel it too."
She paused, her voice softening.
"Even thinking about him gives me peace. So tell me… if this isn't love, then what is?"
Seema stayed quiet for a moment.
Then asked—
"Even if that's true… do you really think Om will accept you? After everything?"
Anshika's smile faded slightly.
"I don't know… and I don't expect anything from him either. Whatever he feels… that's his choice."
She looked down for a second.
"But I love him. And if everything goes right… I'll tell him how I feel. After that… it's completely up to him."
Seema looked at her seriously.
"You really think he'll say yes?"
Anshika's eyes dimmed a little.
"If I have to, I'll apologize for everything… I'll beg if needed… I'll do whatever I can. But the final answer will always be his. I can't force someone to love me."
She took a deep breath.
"Seema… I can't even look him in the eyes right now. I don't even know how I'll confess something this big…"
Seema sighed.
"Anshika… what you did to him… it nearly cost him his life. Do you really think he'll forget all that and accept you? I'm your real friend—I won't sugarcoat things."
Anshika looked at her.
There was pain in her eyes—
But also acceptance.
"I don't know… maybe he'll say no. But for me… he's everything now. No matter what his answer is."
And Then—
"ANSHIKA! LOOK AHEAD!"
Seema suddenly screamed.
Anshika's eyes snapped forward—
And widened in pure shock.
Out of nowhere—
A massive truck was speeding straight toward them.
"Anshika, move! ANSHIKA!"
Seema shouted—
But it was too late.
The truck was already too close.
There was no way out.
Both of them stared in horror—
As death rushed toward them.
And then—
They shut their eyes.
But…
In that exact moment—
A dark figure flashed in.
So fast—
So precise—
That before anyone could even understand what happened—
The car was shoved violently to the side, skidding across the road.
The truck roared past—
Honking loudly—
And disappeared into the night.
Silence.
For a second—
Everything went still.
Slowly—
Anshika and Seema opened their eyes.
They were alive.
Unharmed.
Breathing heavily, trying to process what just happened.
"Are you okay, Seema?"
Anshika asked, her voice shaking.
"I'm sorry… I wasn't paying attention…"
Seema took a deep breath, still shaken.
"Yeah… we survived by inches today…"
Neither of them realized—
Someone had just saved their lives.
And that someone…
Was already gone.
