Chapter 18: Sunflower Love Finds Transition
Sunflower Love finally caught up to Transition.
This time, she didn't sneak up behind him.
She walked straight toward him.
"You think you're so strong, right?" she said. "Your supernatural ability is the only reason you're dangerous. So why don't you fight me hand-to-hand?"
Transition looked at her.
"No powers. Just me and you."
Transition's expression immediately changed.
"You think I'm physically weak?"
Sunflower Love smiled.
"Maybe."
Transition sighed.
"I have a lot of things to deal with. I can't handle your nonsense right now."
She pointed at him with a childish grin.
"You're scared."
Transition's eyes narrowed.
"You're scared."
She repeated it again.
"You're scared. You're scared. You're scared."
Transition finally became irritated.
"Fine."
He stepped toward her.
"Let's fight. But if I beat you, don't start begging me."
Sunflower Love immediately rushed forward.
She threw a powerful kick.
Transition moved aside.
She followed with a punch.
He blocked it.
Another kick.
He dodged.
She continued attacking rapidly, using her athleticism and martial-arts ability to keep the pressure on him.
But Transition wasn't struggling.
He watched her movements carefully.
Every punch was blocked.
Every kick was avoided.
Whenever she tried to create an opening, he closed the distance.
Sunflower Love suddenly launched another combination.
Transition blocked the first strike, avoided the second, and slapped the third attack away.
"You finished?"
She responded with another kick.
Transition caught the timing and pushed forward.
He slammed her to the ground.
Sunflower Love immediately tried to get back up.
Transition didn't give her the opportunity.
She struggled against him, trying to push him away and regain control of the fight.
She kicked.
He moved.
She tried to break free.
He held his position.
She kept fighting until eventually she became unconscious.
Transition released her and stood up.
He looked down at her.
"She really doesn't know when to stop."
He glanced around.
"I don't have time to keep dealing with her."
Transition raised his hand.
"You're going somewhere far away."
His ability activated.
Sunflower Love disappeared.
Transition had transitioned her to another country, far from Metropolis.
He lowered his hand.
"That should keep her busy for a while."
He turned around and continued walking.
"I've got more important things to deal with."
Transition disappeared from the area.
The fight was over.
