[Dragon tribe curse: Every living being who places their eyes on you would come to either hate or fear you.]

[Arcane dragon slayer magic: basic level.]

"Sigh....forcing information into my head again and again." Orsted rubbed his temple with keen weakness. He felt as if he could easily jump into the sky, a hallucination from his growing strength.

'The mana I used a few hours ago has recovered after upgrading my template, no time to waste here anymore.' Orsted lightly jumped and climbed onto the two story house beside him.

A gentle breeze brushed past Orsted's face. Looking at the sun that fully rose from the horizon for a few seconds, he took out his special map and began navigating towards the location that the bounty poster provided.

Jumping from one ceiling to another, Orsted lost his balance many times, not used to his current strength - but he could easily prevent his body from falling with magic.

Now, with the mana regeneration problem out of the way, Orsted couldn't help but want to use magic more and more.

'My senses have been enhanced too, it feels weird to be able to see that far off in the distance....'

If Orsted spread the way to use magic as freely as he did, he could probably start a revolution by himself.

There were few people who saw Orsted's reckless travelling through the rooftops, but they didn't dare complain with the [Dragon tribe's curse] affecting them.

Arriving near the wooden fortress, Orsted jumped over it easily.

'This is fantastic...' A slight smile appeared on Orsted's cold expression - he felt like his body could never run out of energy.

Landing gently on the grassland, Orsted bent forward slightly and ran without holding back. Clouds of dust were visible everywhere he stepped, the ground rapturing from his uncontrollable strength.

'...I should work on my control.' Orsted controlled his boiling emotions and focused on the task.

Didorii - an infamous bandit and slaver belonging to the multi-arm clan. The bounty mentioned that he had four arms and wore the skin of a wolfin as a trophy.

He was the only main target of this bandit group, having his head would directly clear the bounty's requirement.

'Didorii...I might have read about him in some side story.'

Unfortunately, Orsted couldn't remember the specific about such an overly side character.

The bounty appeared to be requesting for a fast acting group, since Didorii wouldn't stay in a single location for a long time.

And it was recommended to be carried out in the day, since Didorii had an ability to turn invisible in the dark - making him more dangerous at night.

The reward for completing this bounty was very high too. 50 gold coins in total if all the bandits were cleared.

Didorii's sole value was 35 gold coins in it.

'Bandit extermination....'

It was clear that the mission didn't need any alive bandits, Orsted had to kill every last one of them.

Just that....

'I always wondered how killing another person would make me feel... Excited? Disgusted? I never delved deeper into these thoughts in the modern society, but here....'

Would that turn him into a monster?

Orsted didn't care about what others thought of him, what mattered was his own feelings.

'So be it.' Orsted's curiosity won in the end. This wasn't just a mission for him now, it was a kind of self-discovery.

Orsted found an interesting fact, whenever he felt tired, he could just devour the air to recover to his peak state.

"....."

And so, he travelled a distance that even ground dragons couldn't cover at once.

The bandit's hideout was near the mountains of Empty wasteland, which was the exact opposite direction of where Orsted's initially transmigrated - the Banan grasslands.

'There is only a slight effect, but I can still feel it...'

The more Orsted made use of Arcane dragon slayer to devour the air, the further his body strangely adapted to it. The dragon seed within him germinated slowly as well.

'Acnologia transformed into a dragon way faster than other dragon slayers, but bathing in hundreds of dragon's blood played a part in promoting his growth, I can't replicate it. It might take me a few years to officially become a dragon, becoming a dragon King like Acnologia would require even more time.'

Acnologia was able to become a dragon King after almost killing the whole dragon race.

Orsted couldn't do the same and he wouldn't do such a risky endeavour in the first place.

'Just travelling might be a good way to practice Arcane dragon slayer magic...'

After running for almost two hours, the terrain turned rocky and large hills were visible at the far end of the horizon.

'It's supposed to be just before those mountains....' Orsted searched the area by climbing on higher terrain.

"Hmm?"

A cloud of smoke was freely rising into the sky, near to the mountains.

Orsted was surprised that they weren't even trying to hide their location. For a while, he stood frozen in his tracks with a frown.

Originally, the plan was to just rush and slaughter them all. Thinking they wouldn't be a threat for the current him.

Once something suspicious appeared, it refused to leave Orsted's mind. Even after enhancing his mind with [Rewrite] - not much of his original personality changed. He couldn't help but grow wary.

After growing up to an adult, such rapid emotional growth was rare or non-existent. So it was quite a novel feeling for Orsted, though he couldn't appreciate it thinking about his first death in this world.

'...I never considered myself so weak mentally before....I just learn more and more about myself in this world.'

The feeling of his mind collapsing in itself was quite an experience, and Orsted had no intention of experiencing it again.

'I won't give them even a chance to retaliate.' Orsted decided to show them and himself, he could do it.

That he could - conquer this new world.
