After saying that, Mo Yichen turned and walked away, with Lu Zikai following behind him. Meanwhile, Tisha immediately ran after him the moment she saw him leaving, quickly locking her arm with his.
Most of the men present gasped slightly at the sight. Only Tisha dared to get that close to the boss. Lu Zikai watched carefully, Mo Yichen his boss didn't even bother to push her away. Normally, the boss never allowed any woman to touch him, except for Mianmian, Tisha and his grandma.
Tisha was an assassin, groomed by her organization since she was a child. She was an orphan, she lost her parents in a hit-and-run accident when she was just three years old, and she had been in the car with them. Somehow, the assassin organization took her from that accident and raised her, turning her into a weapon.
One day, during a mission, she was seriously injured and left on the verge of death. By chance, Mo Yichen found her and saved her life. After learning about her past as an assassin, he decided to take her in.
The Phantom Shied was a bodyguard organization run by Mo Yichen. Most of the people there had been saved by him, many were once homeless or struggling before he took them in and trained them to their limits.
Tisha was the only female among them, yet everyone feared her. She was the strongest and most skilled, someone who didn't even need training when she first arrived.
One thing was obvious, she liked the boss.
Everyone knew it. Even Mo Yichen.
But they all believed the boss was only fond of her and treated her like a younger sister. That was why he had never pushed her away.
"Boss, so will you tell me why you brought that man here? I know you don't do anything illegal… he must have really offended you for you to go this far," Tisha said.
She had already removed her mask, revealing her bare face, very pretty, with a small but noticeable scar close to her right eye. Her arm was still linked with his, even though his hands remained in his pockets.
"Be grateful," Mo Yichen said calmly. "At least you have someone to punch. It's been a long time since you had that chance."
A faint chuckle escaped him.
"Oh, you're right!" Tisha said excitedly. "I really missed doing that. We've barely had clients these days… are people not in danger anymore?"
She laughed lightly.
"But I really had fun with my precious today."
Tisha always liked calling her victims precious.
"You can go back now," Mo Yichen said.
As he spoke, he smoothly slid his arm away from hers.
Tisha paused in her steps for a moment. Then she smiled brightly and waved at him.
Turning to Lu Zikai, she gave him the cutest smile and waved again.
Lu Zikai immediately cringed where he stood. He knew her too well, someone that scary acting this cute was just… unsettling.
Mo Yichen didn't look back. He simply kept walking until he entered the elevator, with Lu Zikai following behind him.
