"How can this be happening?" Lillain yelled at her phone as if that would change anything. She bit her lower lip, her grip tightening around the phone in her hand.
At the Marudas household, Lilian tossed a vase to the wall, shattering to pieces. The impact loud, garnering the attention of the maids that were passing by.
"Miss, Are you okay…?" One of them asked, but something passed her cheek, too fast for her to see what it was, and she froze. A single drop of sweat trailing down her cheek.
"Good, you're here. Come in and clean up the mess," another woman's voice said, and the maids' finally found her standing quietly at the corner. Her posture was straight, and her hands held an iPad. She looked so calm that she felt out of place.
"Huh…?" The maid blinked before it registered to her. "R…right," she ran back out, closing the door behind her.
"You need to calm down and talk about it, Miss Marudas," the woman said calmly.
