Rei looked at the students with a confused and baffled expression as to why they were all excited rather than looking tense or drained after class, that is until he asked the trio who Sylvie had also asked at the same time.
"Oh right… Y'all haven't heard of it yet. It's in the students handbook, the calendar section which I supposed it's the same as your former school? It's like a sports festival except it's a competition event for us here." Hinata explained while showing the two on the calendar which wasn't that close since the event was next month.
Sylvie was the one who asked why the students were excited despite the long wait for such an event in which Erika answered, "The headmaster would change the schedule for the remaining classes in the afternoon so that students will have more free time to train and have their preparations for the event." Rei and Sylvie started to have things in their mind for training especially for the magenta haired girl since she hasn't trained her physical combat without using her prowess for such a long time due to maximizing what she can do best with her prowess.
"I see… Anything else?" Sylvie asked in which Haruki answered for the two, "Normally, there would be a training session in the afternoon which is totally up to you to attend since you could do your own training or have an instructor to help you out."
Rei was intrigued with his answer as he started to think about what to train later or have to ask Eunji if he still had those extracurricular classes later nor will they give him any training if he still had those classes in the afternoon session.
Eventually, he immediately asked on his phone as he got the answer of Eunji telling him that he doesn't have any extracurricular classes and can just submit his practice investigation sheets while grabbing some course work in the meantime as homework or for revision.

Rei was busy writing in his notebook regarding his training, noting things that he needed to improve if he wanted to win in the so-called event since it was somewhere he could prove his worth despite his secret status of being a vessel.
He was happy enough that the headmaster had taught him some mind blocking skills regarding of just pure spiritual energy manipulation rather than him finding a prowess to copy it and be active for the whole time unless he had to sleep then to repeat it the whole day which would also drain his spiritual energy slowly and almost instantly.
"Mimicry, Amplification and Reserves is what I need to train the most…" Rei muttered to himself as he had calculated the amount of output he had to hold depending on how strong and weak the prowess that he would copy and amplify while taking care of his remaining spiritual energy after his mimicry and the other two aspects of his prowess.
He had so much to train since his prowess was complex when he gained it at such a late age especially when his father didn't have one while his mother was basically gone from his entire life except when he was still 3 or 4 years old which he had no proper memories of.
"No need to think about the bad things." He thought to himself, brushing the memory as he recalled his happy moments with his father then Sylvie's company throughout his life after transferring to Sir Ellis Kadoorie High School. "I just have to live long to see the worth of living." He smiled to himself before hearing the bell ringing which indicated the end of class.
Most of the students had already rushed out to have their lunch so that they could train later on immediately for their prowess or their own fitness to be able to participate in the event and not to lose instantly.
Rei found himself wandering to a locker area as he put most of his stuff that he would use for tomorrow. The locker was especially impressive since rather than traditional space, it was an interdimensional space pocket solely for his school related items which was convenient so that whenever a locker is in the area; he could just grab his stuff there.
"I guess I should meet up with them." He smiled to himself, walking his way to the cafeteria after changing his clothes from the normal school uniform to the PE uniform.
Rei found the group as he went up to them after grabbing his lunch which he would need for his diet and training later. "Gonna train later y'all?" He asked as the trio immediately answered enthusiastically with no hesitation while having such passion in their eyes in which he and Sylvie found amusing.
"Alright? What are y'all gonna train for?" Rei asked, curious of what they'll train for the event.
"My prowess!" The trio answered in unison while Sylvie just chuckled at such answers as she went back on her phone, scrolling through her social media probably checking anything related to the academy so she could get some information before training.
Rei didn't ask any more questions but listened to the trio who were rambling about their prowess since he could help them improve their own mastery due to his own mimicry and amplification techniques when copying a prowess.
Erika's water manipulation prowess had a lot of useful things to use as his mind started to work its way on his creativity for using it if he copied it. From what Erika had described of her prowess to be able to control water and use it for offensive attacks, there was no doubt that the defensive attack would be fatal since the density needed to use as a defense would be enough to block one's projectile attacks unless it's an emitter type prowess.
Hinata's wind control prowess was also the same since he had copied it before during the assessment which had a lot of potential compared to what the pink haired had explained of her own prowess. Her prowess had only allowed her to shoot out compressed wind bullets and make her body a little bit light.
Haruki on the other hand didn't say much except for having a flame that's very hot and difficult to control which led to Rei's curiosity to ask for a demonstration so he could help him but decided not to ask upon seeing the latter's discomfort.
Other than that, he was able to give a few tips to Erika and Hinata about their prowess and will demonstrate how to do it when lunch break has ended and the moment they start training.
Meanwhile, the magenta haired girl had gathered the necessary information from what she saw and searched on her phone regarding the event as there were a lot of things to uncover when discussing it with Rei.
Although, she planned to do it later since she wanted to try sparring with the latter since he's the only one that knew how to correct her form in making a punch or a kick since she was too used to her prowess.

They were lucky enough to be able to have a room to train since most of the space was occupied with a couple of mid-tier and low-tiers training with their friends.
Rei only found out about the room since only high-tiers and god-tiers are the only ones who are able to book those rooms due to the complex and powerful prowess that they possess which could end up harming everyone in the surrounding area.
It was something that he was impressed with since there were no places to train with his own prowess back then and he just had to go somewhere far and deep in the forest just to be able to train his prowess to the max since the law was strict when it came out using their own prowess despite self defenses.
"I guess it's time to train…" he muttered to himself before following the rest who had already gone to some spots of the training while the environment transformed into something suitable for their liking.
"This is mad impressive…" he thought to himself as he wondered what kind of training that he should do first.
