Rei had his PE uniform on while walking alongside with his group, already with the girls having their hair tied up while he and Haruki had their sleeves tucked up at forearm length. "My God. Why is the atmosphere so suspenseful…" He thought to himself before the large door opened, revealing it to be a massive stage while the first thing he saw was the spectators area where everyone who was there would witness their performance.
"Hey there darlings! I hope you are all ready to witness the sports event of the Kamigami Academy's fifth year students!" A female announcer said who had green hair.
Eto Suzuki, one of the well known sorceresses in Ethereal from what Haruki had said prior a week ago before being smacked in the head by Erika since the guy was drooling during that day.
"Jeez… She dresses way too inappropriate… Is that even allowed?" Rei questioned himself quietly as he could observe how little the mesh shirt and black shorts covered her figure since he had immediately seen Erika and Hinata knocking Haruki out of a trance from being distracted by such a sight.
He immediately shuddered to himself, his focus on the event as he could feel something staring at him in which he assumed to be Sylvie since the magenta haired girl seemed to be sensitive nowadays especially after calling her cute.

The headmaster was looking over to watch the event in the staff room of the stadium, his eyes focused on Rei, Sylvie and Haru. The only three god-tiers in all of the fifth year students had a lot of interesting things about them.
First, a mimicry and a vessel prior to the incident which the Ethereal authorities help cover up the victims except for Eunji's appearance.
Second, a time manipulation prowess who was pursuing a path of a lawyer or some sort from what he had seen from the documents.
Lastly, a spoiled brat who came from a well-known clan.
"What an interesting match up we all have here." A voice of a male interrupted the headmaster's thoughts as he looked over to his left. "You again?"
"Awe, come on, headmaster Sho. How could I not come here and watch the event? Such a cold heat when I'm treating you with such respect." The white haired male with red eyes said, his expression seemingly appearing to be arrogant and cocky.
"I know who you are, Tengen." Headmaster Sho said with a tone of venom in his statement before ignoring the latter's playful manners. "Gosh. What a stressful thing to deal with…"

"For our first course of the event! Capture the flag!" Eto announced as the spectator grew loud while the fifth year students murmured, probably trying to assume what it was about despite its obvious name.
"Here are the rules. Red team and blue team. Each team will have two separate groups. Group A will be tasked on cheering and singing to hold the required voice level for the flag's defence to stay active while group B are tasked on invading the opponent's flag by using every tactic that they have while also defending their own flag! Also, you need to secure the flag at your base to earn the victory!"
Eto's explanation made Sylvie sweatdropped as she wondered if it would be enough to win the match since she wasn't willing to lose her first sports event in Kamigami Academy.
The pairing of the teams were organised almost instantly as the board from where both participants and spectators can see immediately showed the results. The first one she saw was her name in the red team along with Rei while the second thing she saw was Haru on the opposite team which she was happy enough to have the chance to crush him if given the opportunity to do so.
"Guys. Who'll be in group A to cheer and sing?" One of the red team members asked as Sylvie was confused why they were thinking hard about it.
"Definitely not me. I'm a man and I can't sing with a perfect pitch."
"Can't be the main vocalist since I only follow everyone else…"
"I can try but we'll struggle to keep it up…"
"Man! How are we gonna last to keep the defense up then?"
Sylvie was amused before Hinata approached her. "So, you're going to group B?" She asked, assuming the god-tier to join Rei in battle. "Yeah? Why? Is there anything wrong with group A other than singing?" The magenta haired girl asked as Hinata nodded her head.
Sylvie joined group A discussion so that she could see who had a great voice to last long enough to keep the defense although most of them were terrible and a few could keep a good rhythm until breaking. "You gotta be kidding…" She thought to herself after hearing each of their voices including Erika and Hinata who were very terrible at it.
She sighed as the magenta haired girl had no choice but to stay with them although the regret was hard upon seeing the clothes that she had to wear while at it. "Maybe I'll enjoy this for a bit…" A mischievous thought went over her head upon realising what she could do to help.

Rei and Haruki were stretching as the two were discussing the plan along with the rest of the team who somehow chose them to be the leader, listening to the plan as they went on to prepare as the stage was formed. It was very pressuring since this was Rei's first sports event without hiding himself in the background and rather taking charge.
The mimicry user was lost in thought, wondering which prowess would be appropriate to use until Haruki's gagged expression brought him out of his thoughts as he followed where the latter was staring at. While there were some girls in group B for invading, the majority were in group A which were all dressed in what seemed to be a cheerleader uniform with the red color of their team.
Rei's eyes immediately met Sylvie's teasing gaze as he silently cursed at her for such action since she looked even more cute while a lot of skin is showing although it wasn't revealing any of her parts that close while the fact of how much he had hung out with her paired up from the other revealing outfits that she had didn't gave him the immunity of her appearance.
"I swear to god… That damn girl always knows how to push my buttons…" The mimicry user thought to himself before silencing any thoughts that would get on his mind especially with Sylvie's cute looks and outfit. "Nope. Get out of my head." He uttered to himself before focusing on the main match.
The atmosphere was intense since both teams were eager to start especially with Haru staring directly at Rei which his eyes said. "I'll crush you."
Rei felt a bit arrogant especially when he returned the same thing to Haru which expressed his declaration to the arrogant male. "You sure? Maybe I'll demolish you completely this time."
The two teams were all tense as Eto started her countdown for the event.
"Five!"
Haru flared up his prowess along with his team which emitted at least an aura of powerful users with mid-tier prowess.
"Four!"
Haruki tensed up as he awaited Rei's signal.
"Three!"
Erika and Hinata breathe simultaneously, keeping themselves calm and collected.
"Two!"
Rei smirked to himself as he felt Sylvie's powerful presence emitting.
"One!"
The spectators started cheering and shouting as the match officially started which filled the atmosphere of the event with excitement and anticipation.
Sylvie's voice was heard throughout the entire field as she started her performance.
"Tryna catch me? Nuh uh!"
Followed up with the rest of group A making background humming and tones to keep the defense of the flag active.
Rei immediately smiled as he knew what the latter was gonna sing. If she was gonna have fun, then he might as well have fun before executing the plan. "Let's go!"
His eyes glowed as he could feel every available prowess that he could copy. Rei was definitely motivated to win the event since Sylvie was performing along with her intentional lyrics that seemed to resonate with what she was saying all to him.
"Go wild ~ Hotshot ~"
