THE BATTLEFIELD
The battlefield was a wasteland of shattered stone and splintered trees, scarred by the fury of two titans.
Smoke and ash curled into the sky like ghosts, choking the air.
The ground was scorched, and the wind carried the stench of burning foliage and molten rock. Every step risked falling into a crater or impaling oneself on jagged debris.
Yamata's Summoning
Yamata perched atop his legendary snake summoning, eight massive serpents coiled beneath him like living towers, heads raised, fangs bared.
Each serpent hissed, tongues flicking, eyes glimmering with intelligence. Eight elemental flames danced along his poisoned blade, the heat and smoke reflecting the cruel grin on his face.
Even in this chaos, Yamata exuded confidence, a sly glimmer of amusement in his eyes.
High above, the colossal Manjurushi Lion roared. Shukumei perched on its back, Bodhi Mode glowing faintly over him.
His clones phase-walked across the ground, anticipating every attack the Monkey King might make.
Shukumei's focus was sharp, ready to initiate the seal at the perfect moment, but he monitored Yamata closely.
"Yamata," Shukumei's voice rang clear over the chaos, calm yet commanding, "hold him.
The seal must be ready, but do not overextend your aura.
"Timing is everything."
YAMATA VS GOKU
Across the field, the Monkey King's golden armor gleamed, sunlight reflecting off his rage-fueled aura. His power radiated like molten fire.
His eyes, wild and unrelenting, locked onto Yamata. He lifted his staff, and the ground trembled beneath his feet. Every step sent shockwaves through the cratered battlefield.
Yamata stepped forward, his serpents hissing in unison. A sly smirk crossed his face. "Hey… Monkey, we meet again, darling," he called, his voice playful and mocking.
The Monkey King slammed his staff into the ground, sending a wave of wind and flames that tore through the surrounding forest.
Trees snapped like twigs under the blast, the scorched trunks sending sparks into the air. His dark, furious gaze fixed solely on Yamata.
"You seem really angry, Monkey," Yamata continued, grinning. "You know, it's quite rude to act like that. Haven't you been taught manners?"
The Monkey King's fury ignited, silent and deadly. Yamata's eyes glowed as he activated his Snake Sage Mode. "Yes, that's right. Show me your power, Monkey," he said, taunting with a playful edge underlined by deadly precision.
CLASH OF WARRIORS
The Monkey King surged forward, staff swinging like a battering ram, smashing boulders and tearing through the landscape.
Yamata rolled across his coiling serpents, sliding under a crushing blow.
The snakes lashed out at weak points, fangs sinking deep.
It was then Yamata noticed the Monkey King's arm slightly exposed a potential vulnerability amidst the raw strength.
Yamata's mind raced. He shot a snake forward, which the Monkey King obliterated with a single swing of his staff.
Two more snakes emerged from the ground: one wrapped around the Monkey King's arm while the other he destroyed effortlessly.
The Monkey King then grabbed the remaining snake and ripped it apart.
"Got you," he muttered. Another snake surged from the ground, coiling around the Monkey King's leg. Yamata bit him with his dark poison demon, initiating the process to force him to shrink and drain the aura from his cloak.
The Monkey King staggered slightly, trying to regain composure.
Yamata's aura, however, began to run thin. His massive summoning vanished, leaving him exposed along with his Sage Mode.
He drew his sword and charged, their weapons colliding with sparks and elemental fire.
Blows rang out, echoing across the wasteland, each strike shaking the very ground.
Yet brute strength overwhelmed skill.
The Monkey King grabbed Yamata and hurled him across jagged rocks, slamming him repeatedly into the unforgiving ground.
Blood poured from Yamata's mouth; bruises spread across his body like dark flowers blooming under pale skin.
Still, battered and bleeding, Yamata smirked.
"Heh… cute swings. Almost like my grandma… okay, maybe a bad example," he muttered, his humor dark and twisted amidst the chaos.
Each strike left Yamata weaker. His body screamed, bruised and bloodied, yet his mind remained razor-sharp.
He slashed with poisoned precision, lashing snakes in calculated strikes. Still, the Monkey King's rage-fueled strength crushed him again and again.
THE TURNING POINT
Suddenly, the Monkey King's massive hands closed around Yamata, lifting him high into the air, ready to end him.
The world seemed to hold its breath. Yamata struggled, battered and bloodied, eyes flicking to the chaos around him, searching desperately for an opening.
At that exact moment, Smoke, Fugami, Hikari, and the Delta Ops leapt into the battlefield.
Shukumei's eyes widened.
" perfect timing," he muttered from atop the Manjurushi Lion as he maintained his focus on the seal.
Smoke shouted, "Let him go, you bastard!"
The Monkey King froze for a fraction of a second, his rage shifting toward Smoke.
"What are you going to do?" he spat, voice low and dangerous.
"You're soft… weak… inferior… I wouldn't even waste time acknowledging you."
Smoke laughed, dark and confident. The Monkey King's eyes narrowed.
"Why… are you laughing? What's so funny?"
Smoke's gaze turned icy.
"It's funny that you say you wouldn't acknowledge me… but you're going to acknowledge me now for what I'm about to reveal."
Fugami's eyes widened. "Wait… Smoke, no, don't!"
The Monkey King then dropped Yamata onto the ground, focusing his attention on Smoke.
"If you're really about what you're going to say, then speak, dammit."
Yamata, still battered, seized the moment to sneak a snake from his clothing onto the Monkey King, injecting more poison to weaken him further.
Smoke ignored Fugami.
"The funniest thing about your statement? I'm the one who actually put a hole through your son's chest."
Hikari's eyes went wide.
She covered her mouth. "Sensei… how could you?" Tears streamed down her cheeks.
The Monkey King's rage intensified, power erupting in waves that made the battlefield tremble.
"What… the hell… did you just say to me?!" he growled, voice low and venomous, staring at Smoke with a murderous glare.
Smoke smirked behind his mask.
"I'm the one who killed your son."
The Monkey King screamed violently, the roar echoing across the shattered landscape.
"I'm going to kill you! I'm going to kill all of you and destroy everything!"
He surged at Smoke.
Smoke tried to weave a sign, creating an ash fog, but he was too slow.
The Monkey King kicked him violently, sending him sprawling.
Attempting to rise, Smoke was stomped into the ground as the Monkey King's speed became impossible to track.
Hikari cried out, "No! Sensei!"
Fugami surged forward, his body wrapped in crackling lightning.
His speed spiked to an unnatural level so fast it looked like he vanished, reappearing in front of the Monkey King in an instant.
"Lightning Class: Thunder Fang Strike."
Electricity condensed along his arm, focusing into a precise, high-voltage strike.
Unlike wild lightning attacks, was about control compressing raw energy into a single, piercing blow rather than releasing it outward.
With perfect accuracy, Fugami drove the attack toward the Monkey King's stomach, aiming to send the current directly through his body and disrupt his movements from the inside.
But the Monkey King's aura-shielded armor absorbed the impact.
His eyes, dark and soulless, met Fugami's.
He grabbed Fugami by the face, slamming him repeatedly into the ground, over and over.
The Delta Ops tried to help but were defeated effortlessly.
Fire and smoke choked the battlefield; the ground cracked and splintered, trees reduced to kindling.
Hikari trembled, crying and shaking, staring at the unstoppable Monkey King.
It seemed they were about to lose the war.
His strength was overwhelming, almost impossible to match.
FATE FORSHADOWED
"He asked Hikari, with a cold look, what had happened to Juzo and Ren. Hikari, trembling in fear for her life.
"The Monkey King looked down at Smoke as he lay unconscious on the ground and said, 'I'm going to make sure he dies.'"
