Inside the library,
time was still frozen Mira remained exactly as she was a page of the book.
was stuck between her fingers everyone else looked like figures captured in a photograph.
But only Anie could breathe her chest rose and fell slowly.In front of her,
that shadow still stood.
"Who are you…?"she asked again.
shadow moved slightly,Its form looked as if it were made from the air itself.
"I am the one who asks."
"The Questioner."
her chest tightened,
"Why did you come to me?"small silence followed then the answer came.
"You asked." "The truth." narrowed her eyes.
"I don't understand anything."
shadow stepped closer air around her
bent slowly.
"Then learn."
outside the college gate black vehicles
stopped one after another.doors opened,Hunters,Black uniforms.Weapons.
One officer spoke into the radio.
"Target building confirmed,the library."
"Are we sure it's the Called girl?"another one asked,
"Signal spike confirmed." replied calmly,he looked toward the building.
"Move." they began climbing the stairs.
Inside the library,
Anie asked again,
"Did I do all of this?"
shadow replied,"Questions change the world."
"When you asked,time stopped."
she,trembled "Did I stop time?"
shadow did not answer directly,
"You have started to see it."
On the lower floor of the building,
the Hunters opened the door.An officer took out a small device graph appeared on the screen.
"Energy reading high."
"Top floor."
Another Hunter checked his weapon.
"Stay sharp." they climbed the stairs.
Anie held her head Inside her mind new sounds appeared.
New questions,
"Who am I…?" "Why am I…?"
Her breathing became faster,the shadow spoke again.
"This is the beginning."
A sound,
The sound of a door opening.Inside the frozen world of time,that sound felt extremely loud.Anie turned the library door opened.three Hunters entered
Their eyes scanned the room.
One officer said,
"Target located."
He pointed at Anie,,"Don't move."
Her heart
beat loudly in her ears.
"Who are you?"
the officer stepped forward.
"Hunters."
she looked around,Mira…everyone else…still frozen.Only the Hunters were moving she stared in shock.
"Time didn't stop for you?"One Hunter smirked.
"Nice trick."
"Doesn't work on us."
officer checked the device again the graph on the screen suddenly spiked.
"Energy spike!"
"Secure her!"....
Two Hunters rushed forward Anie stepped back.Fear,breathing,heartbeat Everything mixed together.
"What do you want from me?"
"You."
Hunters got closer.
One of them tried to grab her arm.
At that moment voice returned inside her head.

The Questioner,she trembled.
"I can't"
"Ask."
Hunter grabbed her arm Anie shouted in fear,
"Stop!"
word echoed across the room.without her even realizing air around her
suddenly exploded outward
BOOM!!!!
A powerful shockwave. Hunters were thrown backward books flew from the shelves.Tables slid across the floor glass windows trembled.
Anie stood frozen,,
"I…?"
Hunters hit the ground one officer slowly stood up in pain.
"She's active!"
He shouted into the radio,,,
"Called subject confirmed!"
Anie looked at her hands air around them still vibrated slightly.her breathing was unstable.
"Did I do this…?"
Questioner spoke again.
"You asked."
At the same time,
on the college rooftop Elijah felt it.That surge of power he slowly opened his eyes.In the distance,the library windows were shaking.
He spoke quietly,,
"She's started."
Then he heard something else sirens.
More hunters arriving Elijah exhaled slowly.
"So that's how it is…"
He began walking toward the library.
"Then it's time for me to step in."
Inside the library,hunters stood again.
they raised their weapons.
"Don't move!"
she,stepped back.she didn't understand anything.but one thing was clear nothing would ever be the same again.Because inside her a question had awakened.And the answers to that question were about to change the world itself.
