ALETHEA'S POV
After having breakfast I left the house heading towards any destination that calls my name. I don't know where the pack house is and I really need to apologize to Scarlet and Charlotte. I felt really bad leaving them like that.
'Fuck!' I cursed as I looked at where I am, the forest but I think I am lost. I don't even bother to find my way out. Sitting on a fallen branch, resting on a tree. I await my knight in shining armor.
'I wonder what I will eat for lunch probably that sweet heaven I tasted today' I licked my lips, my mouth watering just by thinking about it. I may not have my wolf but I felt someone coming, picking up a stick I heald it tight pointing it towards the direction of the noise. A small ball hit me in my lower stomach.
'O' my lips took the shape of O, as I groaned inwardly. Falling on my butt I stared at the ball, it is not a ball. It is a wolf, a small looking wolf and it is cute.
But this wolf looks not more than 6 years old and I am thinking the same for the human.
'How are you in your wolf form?' I asked. The blue eyes stared at me as it tilted it's head making it so cute and adorable.
I looked around trying to see if his mama is coming but when I don't feel her. I looked down and the little fella is already laying his head on my shoe as he stared at me.
'I don't know how it is possible that you turned into a wolf before your 16th birthday or how you survived during the transition or how you survived without your mama all this time but I am here now' after my whole speech, the little fella gave me a wolfly grin. It's sharp and pointed teeth came in view and they were stained in blood, it doesn't take a genius to figure that it is human blood.
'Just how far did you come from' I thought picking him up, he lets me which is a surprise considering that wolf don't like other wolves touch them if you are not related to them. I sat down and waited for our knight in shining armor.
I don't know how long I have been sitting on the ground, when my shining armor came through those thick bushes. Smiling I stared at the face only for the smile to vanish from my face.
'What are you doing here?' I asked holding the little fella tight in my hands. He didn't answer me as his eyes trailed down to the thing in my hands. His eyes darken, I try not be scared as I stared at him.
'What are you guys doing? Kill it!' he yelled. No way in hell I am going to let him kill this innocent thing.
'Take a step closer to me and I will be the one to send you to your early graves'. Everyone paused as they contemplating whether to go forward or not. I kind of pity them as I am not the one to threaten someone's life.
My mate took a step closer to me as he stared hard into my eyes. His jaws are clenched together that I feel he will break him teeth, his eyes are so dark and scary that a sane wolf will run down the hill.
'Too bad I am not sane' I smiled so innocently as he stepped so close that I can feel the anger radiating from him.
'Drop him now!' he commanded with clenched teeth
'I will not let you kill this innocent thing' I argued.
'This innocent thing.. injured four of my men to the state that they are in the hospital' I stared at it in shock.
Spinning the little fella in my hands, I smiled as I kissed the lips. I can hear the gaps and murmurs from the wolves around us but I don't give a damn.
'That just proves how weak your men are for this cute thing to beat them' I stated. His mouth opened and shut as he knew I was right.
'That thing is not staying here' he said in a tone that is final but I can't just let it end.
Turning his back to me, he took another step then another. I don't let him take another one before I am gripping his wrist.
*Gaps* I don't pay any attention to them, his head turned to stare at where I held him before looking at my eyes.
'If you want him gone then you will have to kill me first' with that I ran out of the woods. I could see the pack house from here, running towards that direction I entered. My head spinning around for two familiar faces, I spotted them chatting with some other wolves. I ran towards them.
'Thea! What are you doing here?' Scarlet was the first to notice me. Charlotte turned to stare at me with angry eyes, I don't pay mind to that.
Her eyes finally fell on the thing sleeping in my arms.
'Aww it is so cute' I turned to the voice.
I gasped in shock as I stared at beauty in front of me.
'Hi! You must be Alethea, my brother's mate?' she said, but before I can answer
'Where is she?' I heard his voice and he is not happy.
'Caught in a problem I see, well come with me' she said as I ran behind her with Scarlet and Charlotte followers behind.
We ran into a room at the far end of the top floor. Locking the door behind us, we collapse on the floor catching our breathes.
'Don't worry my brother would not know you are here for now' she said. My head to snapped to her sitting on the bed
'Brother?' I asked.
'Yes! Your mate is my older brother. Forgive me for my mistake, I am Isabella Blackwood' she introduced herself bowing a bit.
'It is fine, I am Alethea Grey. Nice to meet you' I said.
'You want to tell us what the whole chaos was about?' facing Charlotte, it is first time I have heard her voice since we came up here.
I explained everything for them as they listened with frowns on their faces.
'That is not fair!' Scarlet shouted
'Be quiet!' we half whispered and half shouted at her.
'We can't hide here forever, they will surely find us with our scents if they are using their brains' Isabella said. I bit my lips, it feels like they haven't catch up that I have no scent.
'I have been meaning to ask Alethea, why is it that I cannot feel your wolf or smell a scent on you?' Isabella asked her expression is totally different from before. How did the smiling cute girl changed to a psychopath.
I turned around, dropping the little wolf on the floor. The room started getting hot as sweat broke down from my face.
'Well, I don't know how my brother didn't know about your scent not been there since.. well he is your mate and that should be the first thing that supposed to tell him that' her expression has changed back to her cute and smiling type as her face take one of 'obviously'.
'You are hiding something aren't you?' she said she stood up. The door slammed opened as three faces stared at us but I could just stare at one.
'I have some explaining to do' I thought staring at my mate's face. His expression told me the same thing I thought.
'I am on my way to see you moon goodness'
