"Alice don't say that now, no one knows it apart from you", Jacob mumbled and Alice pressed her lips into thin line, not wanting to tease Jacob cuz she knew it's a sensitive topic for him.
"I will be back soon,wish me luck", Jacob said to Alice who rolled her eyes saying,"You are just going to pick Nancy, stop behaving like you are going to step in lions Den".
"Just meet her once, you will know how she really is, I think you will vibe with her, she is actually a trouble maker," Jacob said walking towards the door and Alice followed him mumbling, "How worse she can even be?"
"I will just say don't quarrel with her if she says anything out of the box, she is younger than us and not that mature", Jacob explained, "Can't promise anything", Alice let out bluntly and Jacob just shook his head getting inside the car and drove off.
Alice entered the living room and found George sitting on the couch alone, she stormed towards him and sat next to him,
"What happened to my heaven?" "My name is Alice Parker, you better call me by my name", Alice fumed.
George amusingly looked at her and came close, Alice immediately leaned back as her back touched the armrest of the couch, "Don't come close," Alice warned, "If I won't then what?" George cheekily said.
George was teasing Alice and then he leaned more close, almost hovering above her, but his eyes widened when Alice sneaked her arms around his neck mumbling, "So you won't listen".
George subconsciously nodded, totally in daze as he stared at Alices' serene eyes being captivated by her but the next second he was on the floor groaning in pain, he looked up only to find Alice smiling innocently at him.
"If you mess with me again, you will end up on the floor only", Alice said as she walked away and about George then he just layed back on the floor staring at nothing but still had a small smile lingering on his face.
In New York, Jacobs car entered a massive gate and then stopped infront of huge ass mansion, he got down from the car and entered inside the mansion. Guards opened the door for him as he stepped inside.
"Hey my child, come inside", Mia let out softly when she saw Jacob entering inside, "How are you aunty?" Jacob asked hugging Mia who hugged him back saying, "I am totally fine but something is really off with Nancy".
"Well it's nothing new", Jacob sighed and Mia nodded, "Done with back bitching about me", Nancy said coming from behind, Jacob turned and Mia both turned around only to find Nancy holding her luggage staring at them with her boring expression.
"We were not bitching about you, we were just casually talking about you", Mia said but got a glare in return by Nancy who mumbled, "You casually talking abou me means bitching only".
Jacob just stared at Nancy, even though he likes that girl alot but still he sometimes doesn't feel okay with her behaving like that with every one apart from her rich bratty friends.
"Let's head out now, we have to reach there quickly ", Jacob said and Nancy rolled her eyes and pushed her luggage towards Jacob and stormed out of the house.
Mia looked at Jacob in apologetic manner and Jacob just shook his head smiling politely and jokingly said, "Let's go now or she will eat our heads", Mia smiled at that and they both got out of the mansion.
" Where are we going ?" Nancy asked lazily scrolling down through her phone and Jacob looked at her from the inside rear view mirror driving the car and said, "To your brother".
"Woohoo, you told me something I never knew", Nancy sarcastically said and Jacob nervously smiled saying, "You will know once you reach there, and also we are heading to Brooklyn ".
The ride from New York to Brooklyn was smooth if you ignore Nancys blunt remark or her over the board answers in between Mia and Jacobs conversation.
Soon the car was pulled up infront of Edwards house and Nancy got out of the the car when Jacob opened the door for her, Nancy glanced at the house infront of her, it was not like the huge mansion she grew up in, it was more like a Villa.
She truly despised anything that didn't fit in her luxury standards, she was spoiled from the starting only, she is a walking luxury store, everything she use must belong to reputed brand, she kind of disliked Jacob.
According to her he didn't matched her standards and didn't deserve access to her, she is just tolerating him because he is her only brothers person assistant.
"Let's head in, boss is waiting for you both", Jacob said as he gestured them to step ahead, Nancy unwillingly followed Jacob and Mia, Ava opened the door when she heard the bell ringing.
"Please come inside", Ava politely said when she saw Mia and Nancy, both nodded and stepped inside, soon they were in living room and Nancy looked behind her as if finding someone and then felt ease when she saw Jacob entering holding her luggage.
"Come Nancy and Aunt Mia", George said when he saw both of them, Alice also came down wearing loose trousers and hoodie,
"All of you meet them, she is Nancy my baby sister and she is our caretaker Aunt Mia".
Edward and Ava smiled politely at them which was returned by Mia but Nancy faked smile which was instantly noticed by George and Alice.
"Nancy and Aunt, you might be confused why I called you both here, so the thing is I am getting married", George said and got a huge squeal from his aunt in response, she was truly happy as she let out, "finally you are going to get married, gosh I am so happy, who is that girl?"
"She is Alice, We have been dating for two months and now decided to get married by the end of this month, actually it happened really fast so didn't had the proper time to introduce you both to her", George sincerely said as he held Alices hand bringing her close.
As much as Alice disliked the skin ship she couldn't do anything rather that pretending to be the happiest person alive for going to get married with George.
"She looks so pretty, my gosh child you are so beautiful, don't know what George did to get such heavenly creation by God as his soon to be wife", Mia praised Alice on which she genuinely blushed , she liked getting complements from elder woman.
Mia gave off motherly vibes to her and Alice got emotional when Mia hugged her close, "If all you are done with your drama then will someone show me my room, I am getting tired standing here from so long ", Nancy borigly said .
"Are you not happy for your brother Nancy?" George asked with his eyes a little big, his gaze screamed that you better behave infront of others Nancy this ain't our home.
"Why won't I be happy for you? I am genuinely very happy also my sister in law really is very pretty, too pretty to stand next to you, I mean you might have saved a country in your past life to get her ", Nancy said , internally rolling her eyes.
"You both must be tired of travelling right? Come let me show you your room", Ava said and Nancy smiled at that, like genuinely smiled, she was actually tired and just wanted to dozz off.
Both Mia and Nancy followed Ava with their luggage, "You really have crush on her, like what have you even seen in her apartment from the fact that she is very gorgeous", Alice stated staring at Jacob who stood next to her, "I just feel very drawn to her and also there might be reason why she is like this", Jacob completed.
"It's a matter to discuss, but I must admit she is walking disaster, if she shows attitude to me I won't hesitate to humble her, but somewhere I feel like she needs to be handled with care ", Alice said , "She only listens to threats and scolds, soft voices irritates her", George said stepping into conversation.
