Inside the room, the Amber upgrade station was sitting there, it looked like any other upgrade station except it is Amber Yellow colored.
Johnson put his, Albur's and Mysty's watch into the slot of the upgrade station.
"Too bad Wilton, you don't have the previous access colors, you can't upgrade to Amber." said Johnson.
"No biggie, as long as you guys do." Wilton replied.
Johnson cracked his knuckles and started to solve the puzzle of the upgrade station.
Albur walked out of the room.
Minutes have passed, but there's still no sign of the puzzle being solved. Albur don't know what to do now, instead of waiting. He looked at Mysty, who is still not looking good.
"Uh, hey Mysty? "
"Wh- uh what? "
"You....feeling better now? "
"Yeah.....but...not really at the same time...."
"Well uh, are you ok with some discussions right now? "
Mysty stared at Albur, confused.
"I, uh, I have something I definitely need to show you, but before that, can I ask you 2 questions? "
Although she don't understand what is on Albur's mind but she nodded her head anyway.
"Right, you said you work for RNP right, as a product tester. Do you know the name of the CEO? "
"I, actually never really go find out, since I was just a minor role in the company and it was just a part time job. But according to my memories his name really is near Johnson, as he said, he is the CEO."
"Alright...."
"Still suspecting him? "
"The name..."
"I'll be honest, that is common in RNP, I don't know why for some unknown reasons, the company messes up employee names, which happened to me before...."
"Huh....anyway.....the thing....."
"Amber Yellow, access granted. "
Light came out from the room. The machine glowed as it spat out the watches.
"Nice, we got Amber access. " said Johnson.
"Yahoo! One step closer! " cheered Covie.
Albur looked at the room.
"So...what is it? " asked Mysty.
Albur took out that one page of the criminal record he took just now.
"Take a look at this..." Albur handed over the page to Mysty.
"Hey, what are the 2 of you looking at? " just before Mysty can have a look on it, Johnson interrupted the two of them.
"Oh, uh, nothing.... Just found some very.....uh, interesting stuff. " Albur kept the page, before Mysty reached out to it.
Johnson stared at Albur, squinting his eyes but then scoffed.
"What? "
"I can't let him see this....."
"What is really going on between you two?"
"I will prove to you he ain't no good person." Albur whispered to Mysty.
"Ok, ok, I don't know what are you trying to figure out and what do you want from him, but, he is the only leader we have now, just follow him, its better than wandering around alone." Mysty replied.
"Ok, fine." said Albur.
The gang went outside of the building. Johnson opened the map to the next access color, which is Clementine. Located 3000 km away from their current location.
"What the, we're just gonna walk till there? My legs would broke by that time! " exclaimed Albur.
"That is the length by walking, since the military base is way over there, the next country, so we will be taking another transportation, we go on water." said Johnson.
"Water? You mean we travel on boat? " asked Mysty.
"Correct, it'll only take 2000 km." said Johnson.
"It is still long." said Albur.
"Uh, guys? Its already 7 p.m." Wilton noticed the time on Johnson's watch.
Everyone looked at the sky, it is still raining and the sky is cloudy so its hard to tell what time is it.
"Must be near dusk." said Mysty.
"We have no other choice, we must travel overnight, we need to skip this night's rest." said Johnson.
"What? You got to be kidding me! Over night? AWWWW SNAP. " groaned Albur.
"We dont have much time left, just get going." said Johnson.
The gang had no other choice rather than continuing the journey. Before moving on, Covie found Albur's broken rifle, she repaired it and reattached the GK flash drive onto it and returned it to Albur. They also grabbed their resources box and the hyper gems that was previously in the truck. During that time, Albur noticed something, near the place where General Error died, there's a small marble like thing, its cyan and violet in color, similiar to the color schemes of a glitch. He tried to put it into his rifle but it was ejected, for some unknown reason. Albur thought for a second, and decided to take it with him.
"We have to act fast, the digitalisation will be fully completed soon. " said Johnson.
"Hey, speaking of this, Commander Glitch is digitalising every human and creatures on the earth, but it takes 5 days, why can you directly digitalise us? " asked Albur.
"I have fully mastered the technology of digitalisation, while those glitches don't. " replied Johnson.
Suddenly, the ground started shaking, no glitches were near them, nothing was near them.
"Why is the ground shaking again? " asked Wilton.
Out of nowhere, a giant thing emerged from the ground, its a huge metal claw. After it emerged, it hooked onto the earth.
"What is this thing...." asked Covie.
Johnson walked to it, he then gave it a scan.
"Oh no.... this ain't good." he said.
"What? What's wrong? " asked Albur.
"This is an energy absorber, looks like..... Commander Glitch has started to digitalise the whole planet and use it for energy....." a sweat rolled down Johnson's screen.
"What? Oh no..." Mysty looked at that metal claw.
"You damn claw! Don't even try to wither our planet!" Albur fired his rifle at that claw, but it did nothing, not even a scratch.
"Its no use, this claw is made out of a strong metal. We have to hurry." said Johnson.
The gang begun to follow the map in hurry. Running as fast and as not energy draining as possible. Snuck over every glitch patrol team.
Eventually, they reached a dock.
"Welp, looks like it is time to travel overseas." said Albur.
"Try and look for something."
The gang wandered around, trying to look for a boat or something. Johnson went to build a roof thingy to be later attached onto the boat so that the gang won't need to carry the umbrella all along.
After a few minutes of search, they found a speed boat ruin alongside other boat ruins, they took the pieces together and try to join them up to form a brand new speed boat. The process took around an hour. The speed boat is different from other speed boats, its quite large and looks more like a yacht than a speedboat.
After the boat was made, Covie grabbed some oars and a lifeboat from the shop ruins near the dock and also a speed boat motor. They attached all of them onto the boat and hopped onto it. Johnson powered the motor using a small hyper gem.
"Eveything ready? " asked Johnson.
"Yeah, ready to set sail..." said Mysty.
The gang worked together to push the boat into the water
"Let's go get this access color." Johnson activated the hyper gem, the motor started to work. The speed boat sliced through the dark wavy waters.
"Finally, some time to rest....." Albur sat down, tired.
"We must keep going overnight today, or else we can't get to the upgrade station fast enough. " said Johnson.
"Yeah, yeah, you said that like 3 times already, just give your mouth some rest time." said Albur.
Johnson said nothing.
Its already midnight, there's no light, its dark, very dark indeed. Only the lights of the map to the Clementine upgrade station can be seen. The rain is still falling, the ocean is also dark and full of waves. Everyone's emotion was quite downbeat. No one talked, just silence.
Albur looked at Mysty, she seemed nervous and anxious.
"You good? " Albur sat next to her.
Mysty shook her head.
"Is anything wrong? "
"Sorry, Albur, can you give me some...quiet time? Please...."
Albur stopped talking, he understood what Mysty wanted now, so he stopped bothering her. He knew she just recovered from being parasited and mutated. He then looked at the rest of the gang. Johnson is still awake, piloting the boat. Covie is asleep and Wilton is still awake. Staring at the ocean.
Albur tried his best to stay awake, he knew now the glitches are locking in so they might attack anytime anywhere. To keep himself awake, he decided to go and have a chat with Wilton.
