"Enough of this," I growled. "If Corvin decides to dig his own grave, I'll happily help him get buried. It's time to proceed with our plans."
"Which ones?" Tala grinned.
"First," I said, "the three omegas, and after that the elders."
I stood from my chair and walked toward the window, staring out at the territory that now belonged to me. I folded my arms and smiled faintly.
"Nothing," I murmured to myself, "is going to stop me from enjoying this."
Then I turned back to them.
"Let's begin."
By midday, my plans were already unfolding beautifully. The three omegas had been officially promoted at sunrise. By noon, the news had spread through the pack like wildfire, and exactly as I had predicted, the three of them were behaving as though they had just been crowned royalty.
