Chapter 34 - Trouble in the Grand Hall
Ismena raced into the castle, barely stopping to even breathe.
It was Stavan.
By the Sun, she had known that he would do something but she had not suspected that he would move this fast! Neither had she suspected that he would do this.

Clank!
Spears crossed before her, forcing her to stop. She staggered back slightly, her grip around her dress tightening.
"Are you blind?!" She questioned sharply.
She wasn't like herself at all today. Everything was too much and now these guards were standing in her way!
"Our apologies, your Majesty, the King is in a meeting and he has ordered not to be ordered by anyone-" the guards at the door of the grand hall stopped her.
She took an angry step forward. "Get out of my way at once!"
They looked at each other stunned.
"Your Majesty—-"
"The King will have your heads at my word! Slay your families at my cries! Make your choice but you will not stop me."
