Days passed and everything seemed to fall into place with ease. Roseanne quickly grew comfortable in the new work environment. The team was supportive and she never felt like an outsider for long.
Wilhelm, in particular, was quiet but helpful, assigned to help her settle in and answer any questions she had. He spoke only when necessary, his voice always calm and measured, and never once did he seem annoyed by her questions.
She soon discovered that Wilhelm was two years younger than her, which amazed her. Despite his youth, he handled his responsibilities with maturity and competence. He seemed to know the ins and outs of the company almost as well as Ermias did.
"Wilhelm is good at his job," Czar remarked as they sat together in the car on the way to the company.
"He is," Roseanne agreed, glancing out the window at the passing city.
Czar asked how everything was going and she answered mentioning how welcoming everyone had been, even Frederic.
