"But I didn't tell you to bring her to me!"
Caesar narrowed his gaze at him, shutting Lucius into silence instantly. That look was murderous and brought shivers to his body.
"I… I mean—" Lucius stuttered.
"I know what I'm doing, Lucius. You don't have to remind me of anything." Caesar sighed, seeing his younger brother afraid of him. "Don't tell me what to do."
Lucius looked away and took a few deep breaths. He knew Caesar didn't like anyone questioning his actions. Those who did were either cut off from his side or taken out.
"You look like a mess," Lucius commented. "Did you end up killing someone again? I told you not to get aggressive and control yourself. If you triggered another episode, the medicine won't hold it back anymore."
That means Lucius would have to resort to other means to restrain his brother's mania.
Both of them turn silent. They both knew what his words had entailed. Caesar himself knew that he was getting close to exploding.
