Yuna:
Yuna watched Ethan carefully as he took another bite.
He didn't say anything.
But she noticed the small things that he still remembers the taste.
The way he didn't stop eating.
The way his expression softened slightly.
The way he didn't push the plate away like he usually did when he disliked something.
A small warmth spread through her chest.
He still likes it…
She almost smiled but controled herself.
Six years had passed, yet his taste hadn't changed, he still like what I made for him.
For a moment she simply watched him eat, feeling strangely happy over something so simple.
"Ethan—"
She was about to say something.
Maybe tease him.
Maybe remind him about six years ago.
But before she could finish—
Heavy footsteps echoed from the stairs.
Luca.
He walked into the dining area, stretching his arms lazily.
"Something smells good," he said.
Yuna immediately straightened slightly.
Ethan stopped mid-bite for a second, then continued eating as if nothing had happened.
Luca looked at the table and raised an eyebrow.
"Well, well."
He pulled a chair and sat down.
"Do You cooked this break fast?"
Yuna nodded.
"Yes."
"For Ethan? Like it's his favourite" Luca asked casually but he was cold at the same time.
Yuna looked away slightly.
"It's breakfast for all of us."
Luca smirked faintly but didn't push further.
He picked up his fork and tasted the food.
"Hm. Fine"
He chewed for a moment.
Then he nodded.
"Not bad."
Yuna didn't respond.
The table suddenly became quiet.
Too quiet.
The air between them felt slightly awkward.
Yuna wanted to say something to Ethan again… but Luca's presence made it impossible.
So she stayed silent.
Ethan also didn't look at her.
He kept eating calmly, his attention on the plate.
But under the table—
For a brief moment—
His legs brushed against her leg.
Just lightly.
Almost accidentally but not truly.
Yuna froze for a second.
Her eyes lifted toward him to see what does he mean.
But Ethan didn't look up.
He continued eating like nothing happened.
Yet the corner of his mouth moved slightly.
And somehow…
That small moment said more than words could have said in that silence.
