Yuna:
The shopping district was lively and bright.
Yuna stepped out of the car and looked around. Tall buildings were filled with luxury stores, cafés, and boutiques. People walked everywhere, carrying shopping bags and chatting.
She adjusted her cardigan slightly and walked into one of the boutiques.
Inside, rows of elegant dresses were displayed.
Yuna began looking through them carefully.
"This one is too fancy…" she murmured softly.
She moved to another rack.
"This one is pretty pack it…" she said to the store staff.
She takes everything what she likes.
She held a soft black dress in front of the mirror for a moment, imagining Ethan's reaction. " This too, I will take it.."
Her cheeks warmed slightly.
Before deciding, she wandered through a few more stores. Along the way, she stopped near a decorative mirror wall inside a boutique.
The lighting there was perfect.
Yuna smiled faintly and lifted her phone.
She took a picture of herself — standing in the outfit she wore earlier, her plaid skirt and white cardigan giving her a soft, charming look.
After checking the picture, she liked it.
"Cute," she whispered.
Without thinking too much, she uploaded it to her social media.
A simple caption:
Shopping day.
Within minutes, the post began getting attention.
Across the city, inside Ethan's office…
Kai was sitting on the sofa scrolling through his phone while Ethan reviewed documents at his desk.
Kai suddenly stopped scrolling.
"…Huh."
Ethan didn't look up.
"What."
Kai turned the phone slightly.
"Looks like the woman in your house went for
shopping."
Ethan's pen stopped moving.
"What?"
Kai stood up and walked closer to the desk.
"Look."
He placed the phone in front of Ethan.
On the screen was Yuna's newly uploaded picture.
She was standing inside a boutique, looking elegant and effortlessly beautiful.
But Ethan's attention wasn't only on her.
His gaze moved to the background.
Several men nearby were clearly looking at her.
One man behind her had his eyes fixed on her.
Another person seemed to be whispering while glancing her way.
Something dark moved behind Ethan's eyes.
His jaw tightened slightly.
Kai noticed the change immediately.
"Relax," Kai said casually. "She's just shopping."
But Ethan didn't respond.
He stared at the screen for another second.
Then he suddenly stood up from his chair.
The chair moved back sharply against the floor.
Kai raised an eyebrow.
"Where are you going?"
Ethan grabbed his coat.
"Prepare the car."
Kai blinked once.
"…You're serious?"
Ethan's voice was calm.
Too calm.
"Now."
Kai sighed slightly but already knew arguing was useless.
"Alright."
As he walked toward the door, he muttered quietly,
"You told her to stay away… yet you're the one chasing her."
Meanwhile, Ethan was already heading toward the elevator.
His mind was fixed on only one thing.
Yuna.
And the way those strangers were looking at her.
