Chapter 30: Sent to Impel Down
Being sent flying to the Island of Women by Kuma.
Giving the girls sex education.
Being turned to stone by Hancock.
Getting depressed and bouncing back.
My bounty skyrocketing to one billion.
Today has been a truly chaotic day.
But amidst all that, the most immediate and serious issue is that Luffy's brother, "Fire Fist" Ace, has been captured in Impel Down, and his public execution has been decided.
(Normally, you'd think going to save him would be impossible.)
Ace's execution is in six days. No matter how you think about it, physically going to rescue him is impossible. We won't make it in time, and there's no way we can just storm the place.
Or so I thought, but apparently, if we use a Marine ship, we can reach Impel Down from here in four days.
Furthermore, a Marine ship is currently anchored right in front of Amazon Lily.
The Marines, preparing for war against the Whitebeard Pirates, have come to pick up Hancock, a Warlord of the Sea. So if Hancock asks nicely, it seems it's possible to have them make a stop at Impel Down.
(Amazing. It's like the heavens are telling Luffy to go save Ace.)
It's probably just a coincidence, but it's a development straight out of a manga.
"I will now take Luffy to Impel Down on the Marine ship."

"The Warlords and the Marines are supposed to be allies. right? Sneaking Luffy into Impel Down is straight-up high treason, right? Is that even allowed for someone in your shoes? Won't there be hell to pay if you're caught?" I pressed, but Hancock just gave a dismissive snort—hmph. "So what?
"So what?"
"No, what do you mean 'so what'."
"I answer to no one! The Marines are not using me as a Warlord; I am the one using the Marines by being a Warlord."
"Ooh."
"And for the one I love. I will do anything. ♡"
"..."
Blushing while stealing glances at Luffy. Pirate Empress Boa Hancock.
This one's a lost cause, I thought.
Despite claiming she answers to no one, she has turned into a slave to her love for Luffy.
Just a moment ago, I was captivated by Hancock's beauty and going "Mero Mero," but I felt my heart cooling down somewhat.
How should I put it.
This vibe between Hancock and Luffy. it's déjà vu or something.
That's right! It reminds me of my two best friends I left back in my hometown of Green Bit, Mansherry and Leo!
A girl in love and a dense guy who doesn't notice it at all. It's similar to their relationship. How nostalgic.
"By the way, Line, what will you do?"
"Eh? Me?"
As I was feeling nostalgic about the past, Hancock crouched down and spoke to me.
"What do you mean, what will I do?"
"While Luffy and I go to Impel Down. You can remain on this island, or I can have the Kuja pirate ship take you to Sabaody Archipelago. Choose as you like."
"Ah"
For some reason, I had just assumed I would be going to Impel Down too, but now that she mentioned it, I had absolutely no reason to tag along.
Ace and I are total strangers, and I have no obligation to risk my life going to a super-dangerous prison like Impel Down to save him. but.
"Hnn, hnnnn."
I glanced at Luffy.
"Ace. I'll definitely save you!"
Staring at the Vivre Card that looked like a burnt scrap of paper, Luffy clenched his fist tight.
A Vivre Card represents the owner's life force. That is Ace's Vivre Card. Which means Ace's life is currently like a candle in the wind.
Seeing that, and seeing Luffy looking so incredibly worried, I couldn't help but overlap the situation with my little foster sister Esune.
"Nuuu."
I have no obligation to save Ace.
None at all. but.
"Nuuuuu! Gu, muuu! I-I'm going too! To Impel Down!! Ace's rescue. I'll help!!"
I sprang to my feet.
"Are you sure!?"
"No, I'm not. Doing something this dangerous isn't fine at all. But! The feeling of wanting to save a sibling. I understand it, so it can't be helped! I can't just pretend not to see when my friend is in that situation! So let me help too! Luffy!"
"Line! Thank you! I owe you one!!"
I felt like I could hear the voices of my foster father Rayleigh, foster mother Shakky, and foster sister Esune saying, "You really are a softie~."
Those people always teased me like that.
But. not once have they ever denied me for being that way.
Now then, it was decided that we'd get a ride to Impel Down on the Marine ship, but naturally, the only one allowed on board was the Warlord, Boa Hancock.
If Luffy and I just casually walked onto the ship with Hancock, we'd be arrested immediately and taken to Impel Down in a very different sense.
So, the plan was for Hancock to wear a gigantic cloak, and for Luffy to hide inside it to secretly board the ship—stowaway style.
Hancock is tall, so hiding someone like Luffy inside her cloak should be just barely possible.
As for my hiding spot.
"Alright, I'll hide in Hancock's cleavage. Gwah!?"
Hancock stepped on my face.
Even though Hancock's treatment of me had become somewhat milder, it seemed she still wouldn't forgive sexual harassment.
"Line. Did you not say you were done with such things?"
"Since I didn't actually touch anything. I thought maybe it was okay. Verbal harassment only is safe. I've decided that. Just now."
"You are a man who goes easy on himself."
Saying that, Hancock giggled.
She really is similar to Mansherry. That girl used to hit me whenever I made sexual harassment remarks too. She was a female Gian who would punch me in the face.
Mansherry was a woman who was strict with Leo but kind to everyone else. while Hancock is a woman who is kind to Luffy but strict with everyone else.
Well, same difference.
It was the moment Hancock's standing in my mind settled at the same level as Mansherry's.
"Well then, let's go! Princess Hansherry!"
"Who is Hansherry!?"
Maybe "Mancock" would have been better?
Hancock wearing a gigantic cloak.
Luffy hiding inside it.
Me hiding inside Luffy's straw hat.
Using this three-person stack (?) formation, Luffy and I successfully infiltrated the Marine ship.
Now, as long as we don't get discovered as stowaways and reach Impel Down, everything will be A-OK. but.
"Chomp chomp! Chew chew, delicious!"
"Luffy. Eat as much as you want♡"
A certain private room on the Marine ship. The room assigned to Hancock.
There, Luffy was single-handedly devouring a massive meal meant for dozens of people.
"Do you guys know the meaning of 'hiding'!!?"
I couldn't hold back my retort.
Normally, the only person allowed in this room is Hancock. If the Marines find out Luffy and I are here, it's over.
And yet. this Straw Hat guy is chomp-chomping away. Is he an idiot!?
"You're eating too much, Luffy! Learn some restraint!! Repeat after me! We. Must. Not. Be. Found!!"
"Hehe, do not make such a fuss, Line. Luffy must build up his strength to rescue his brother, Ace."
"There's a limit!! Don't spoil him!!"
"Seconds!"
"Stop it!!"
We managed to gloss over it by having Hancock insist to the Marines, "I am a heavy eater!".
But if I were a Marine, I'd definitely be suspicious.
I'd doubt that anyone could eat that much and keep that waistline.
Honestly, it's a miracle we haven't been caught.
"Haa. Luffy. You really need to stay quiet in Impel Down. We go in quietly without anyone seeing us, retrieve Ace quietly, and leave quietly. It's a top-secret infiltration mission."
"Ou! Leave it to me! Nom nom, munch munch."
"Leave it to me," he says while eating.
And so, we rocked on the waves inside the Marine ship for four days.
Luffy did nothing but eat and sleep.
Hancock spent the time aggressively flirting with Luffy or being sexually harassed by me.
And I spent two of those four days turned to stone.
Before we knew it, we had arrived at Impel Down.
"So that's the world's greatest prison, Impel Down."
Peeking out the window at the massive fortress, I gulped down a mouthful of spit.
It's obvious since it's a place meant to lock up thousands, tens of thousands of pirates, but just looking at it, you can feel how high the security is.
There are warships swarming all around it too.
"We have arrived at Impel Down. Now, both of you, inside the clothes."
Luffy hid inside Hancock's cloak. I hid inside Luffy's straw hat.
Assuming the same three-person stack (?) formation as when we came, we set foot into Impel Down.
"Welcome. To my Impel Down. Ah, my mistake. I said 'my.' I am still Vice Warden Hannyabal! Please treat me well-smash!"
"I am Deputy Head Jailer Domino."
Greeting Hancock as she passed through the gates was a giant man nearly three meters tall who looked like a cross between a Hannya mask and Tutankhamun—Hannyabal.
And a busty beauty with sunglasses, Domino. Wait, whoa, Domino-chan, your skirt is short!
Miniskirts like that are so easy to snatch panties from. Hehehe.
The Tontatta instinct to steal anything I want is whispering to me to just strip Domino's panties right off.

I thought it would be easy if we could just go straight to the deepest part of Impel Down, but naturally, there was a body check.
Since Hancock is a woman, the one performing the check is, of course, the female jailer Domino. Taken to a private room, Hancock was first asked by Domino to remove her cloak.
This is bad.
If it were just me, I could probably slip away with speed invisible to the eye, but with someone Luffy's size, that's impossible.

Seastone is a mineral that emits the same energy as the sea. It's as hard as diamond and is a mysterious stone that nullifies the abilities of any Devil Fruit user who touches it.
Basically, once a user is handcuffed with this, they become powerless.
"Luffy. I wanted to be of more help to you."
"What are you saying! Just bringing us this far is plenty! Thank you so much! I won't forget this favor! I'll definitely pay you back someday!"
Luffy squeezed Hancock's hands tight.
Hancock went "Haaahn♡" and turned to jelly. Tch. Go explode already.
"Please, be careful. Luffy."
"Yeah! I'll be careful!"
"Ah, right. A word for Line as well."
"Ah? What? 'Take care of Luffy', right~? I know without being tol—"
"You be careful too."
"Eh. Ah. Yeah."
Usually salty, but suddenly kind at the farewell.
She really does remind me of Mansherry.
Anyway, if we dawdled here any longer, the people outside would get suspicious, so Luffy and I hid by clinging to the ceiling.
After making sure we were hidden, Hancock released Domino's petrification.

"What is the matter? Were you not going to perform the body check?"
"Ah, yes."

Judged to be problem-free, Hancock was fitted with Seastone Handcuffs, left the room, and descended the lift with Domino and Hannyabal.
"Alright then, let's go too, Luffy."
I whispered to Luffy.
From here on out, it's a stealth mission with no guide, no info, and completely blind.
