CHAPTER – 13
"So now I can cast ice spells and use ice on my dagger too?? Amazing!"
Daniel is confused from this sudden growth.
"It is quite impressive….but how'd you get that??
"A reward from guild's association maybe?? Hehe."
*sigh*
"Anyways…..so now you can use two techniques in your veil."
"Yup I got this!"
John opens his veil and uses ice magic. Millions of sharp ice shards start shooting from all directions of veil.
(Impressive! Now this is what I call an upgrade.)
Angela shows up with some food.
"Here you both must be hungry and tired from the training! Eat something."
"Thanks Angela!"
After a while they all start planning on how to rescue Angela's brother.
"Hey Angela??"
"Yeah, Daniel?"
"So...you said that your brother is in captivation of the semi-commanders right??"
"Yeah."
"And you know there location??"
"Yessir!"
"Then what are we waiting for?!?"
"Well…..because we are not fools??"
"What?"
"Don't you think you are too reckless?? This could be trap set by commanders!"
"How!?"
"They might be using semi-commanders as bait to catch us."
"Why would they??"
Angela stares at Daniel.
"Were you always this dumb??"
"Huh??"
*sigh*
"Do you get it John??"
John nods.
"I got it"
"So….to avoid it we need a strategy and we need to train these two kids first."
Daniel tells both John and Syd to show of their skills. They both show one-by-one. From Dagger Master to their own veils.
"Pretty impressive for someone out of this world!"
"I taught them after all!"
"That's why their veil is so weak!"
*sigh*
"What is your problem with me!?"
"I wonder"
*smile*
A smile as bright as the beautiful. It even made pissed Daniel calm.
"Whatever!"
Daniel leaves and Angela talks to John.
"So young man…..I have a request."
"Please don't ever be like Daniel. Don't treat your girl over there like how he treats me!"
"That's not my girl…"
John feels a murderous gaze on his back. Its Syd. She is angry because she can't hear a single thing.
"What are you both talking about?!?"
"Oh! I was just telling John how not to treat his girlfri-"
He shuts her mouth with his hand.
"Oh she just telling me not to be like Daniel!"
John looks at Angela with widened eyes. Scared and threatening at the same time. It felt like he was saying – Don't talk to her about another girl or she will kill me.
"Yeah he is right, Daniel is just a Rudey who doesn't take anyone seriously!"
Syd agrees with Angela.
"Yeah I hate him too!!! So much arrogance!!!"
"I know right!?"
John sighs and looks down feeling stuck with two women.
(Oh I hate this! Being stuck with two hot chicks was a dream but not like this!. But…I agree. I hate Daniel too, I'd never like be like him!. Angela however, is lying. She was in love with Daniel ever since he got into his first adventurers' guild. Eh…who cares. I didn't even get the chance to complete my novel, so it doesn't matter.)
"Hey John??"
"Yeah?"
"Don't you think….that you…..think a lot??
"Like you've been staring at the ground for a while now."
"Ah its nothing. But hey Angela! I have a request if you could….."
Angela looks at him.
"If you are free can you teach Syd healing magic??"
"Huh? How come?"
"Well….you see, during fights, I wont like to heal her so…."
Both stare at him with a disgusted face and say at the same time.
"You are just like Daniel!"
"Huh!?!"
But Angela then agrees with John.
"Yeah but he is right…..you do need to learn basic healing magic at least. I don't even know how Daniel taught you Veil without basic mana control and healing magic. But its okay now, that I'm here ill teach you both the basics of magic!"
Both-"YAY"
John asks Angela.
"Then when will we start our training??"
"Training? Who said I'm gonna train you?? John, magic basics are taught, not trained."
They both sigh.
"What??"
"I don't wanna learn something in this world too!"
"Its okay John, it will be fun. The magical books are only 1200 to 1300 pages long. So its really easy to study!"
They both instantly leave Angela alone and go to their room. Angela smiles and thinks.
