"Angela please I beg you! Stop!!!"
John is running from Angela. She has been teaching him and Syd how to cast healing spell.
"No John you have to learn how to use your quick regen!"
(I shouldn't have told her about the quick regen.)
Meanwhile Daniel is pretty tensed on how John got a God level skill from a mere chest.
(How...is this even possible?)
"I know how to use quick regen!!!"
"Its no use John, You can't escape her!"
Angela stops and turns around just to see Daniel running away from Syd.
"Same Daniel! You can't escape Syd too!!!"
Syd comes close to Angela and both sigh.
"Guys....such runners."
After a few days, Syd has mastered Basic healing magic and is now learning advanced magic from Angela.
Meanwhile John is learning pyromancy and has almost mastered control on his veil. Daniel is making a strategy save Angela's brother.
Syd and Angela's relation has improved. They both share their secrets and help each other with their problems. However, Daniel and John's relation…..well they fight, not on clashing opinions, but on accepting the facts that they both like their friends.
"Just accept it Daniel!!! You love Angela!"
"No I don't....but why are you so much invested in my love life!? Don't tell me you are jealous because Syd doesn't give you enough attention and aske me to train her??"
"No I am not!!!"
Meanwhile Syd and Angela are both tired of hearing their fights.
"I don't know why they fight so much!"
"Yeah! I don't know about Daniel, but john…..he likes you. I wonder why he doesn't just accept it??"
"*blush* Huh? Crush on me??"
She slightly looks away.
"Aww look who's blushing just by hearing John's name."
"No that's not it!!!"
She starts curling her hair around her finger with a slightly ticklish feeling of love. A slight blush can easily be seen on her cheeks.
"But Angela, why don't you tell Daniel that you like him??"
"Oh well, I'm just waiting for the right moment."
Syd looks at her with a confused face.
"What is the right time?? Maybe you should confess your love. There is no right time…..who knows what happens tomorrow. You should not have any regrets right??'
Angela looks at her with a comforted smile.
"Yeah maybe you are right, Syd. I should not have any regrets. But now is not the time to get a soft heart. I need to rescue my brother, after that…..maybe I'll propose him."
She smiles without any unease on her face and her thoughts being clearly visible on her face.
(She is right, after we save my brother ill marry Daniel and live a happy life. No regrets! No Grief!
She pats on Syd's head.
"And you too. When you grow up, marry John!"
*blush*
Her face is red.
"Yeah"
Meanwhile John and Daniel's fight has taken another level. John opens his veil.
"Oh are WE doing this?!"
"Oh we ARE doing this!!!"
"Well then, I won't hold back the slightest! Veil of the Seventh Commander!"
Angela and Syd both walk up to them and slap both of them.
"Daniel, he is a child!"
"John, he is an adult!"
*sigh*
"What reason could force both of you to open your veils??"
Both of them calms down and don't say a word. John without wasting a second.
"Hey D-Daniel! About the training you told…. lets go do it??
"Yes John! My student! Let's go do our training! See you later ladies."
Both of them try to run away but the ladies grab their collars and throw them on the ground and start beating the crap out of them.
"Ow, ouch!"
"Ouch….sorryyy!!"
In the night, John and Daniel are sitting on the bed in Daniel's room next to each other with bandages on their faces. Angela and Syd with the brightest smiles on Rimora, bring dinner for them. No one could tell that these were the women who beat the strongest commander and his disciple.
"Here you both, Eat up!"
"Yeah! Tomorrow, we have a long journey."
After eating Daniel and John start explaining the strategy.
"Alright so firstly, you both will stay with John."
"You can trust me!"
"And I will be camping the air! I don't trust the commanders, they may attack us from the above."
He turns slightly away and looks at the map. He is sweating a lot. It can be seen on his face that he is scared of losing all of them. He clinches his fist. Angela notices this.
"Daniel, we will be fine.....we have you and John. We won't lose. We will come back safely and.....I have surprise for you so, Let's do this quickly!"
Syd adds up.
"Yeah Daniel! Its alright, John is level 250 and you are level 1000! And who knows maybe this isn't a trap!"
"Yeah maybe you both are right, I'm stressing out for no reason."
John joins the conversation. Daniel calms down a bit.
"Yeah Angela! I promise I will keep you safe too! Its my word!"
Somewhere in the world of Rimora, in a divine place above the clouds, a ring floating on a pillar rotates for the fourth time. Daniel instantly looks at John. John screams and gets on his knees.
"AAghhh! This pain again!"
Daniel clinches his fists and turns away.
(I didn't understand at first, but now I do. It has started happening to him as well. I might regret it later not telling you about what is happening to you.)
John is in heavy pain. This pain cannot be defined. It's not something humans usually feel.
"John let me heal you!"
"It won't work, just give him some time."
After a while, John is alright. His heavy breathing is now stabilized. His body on rest.
"Why is this happening to me!? I just hope this doesn't happen to me during the rescue."
"Even if it happens, I will be there to help so don't you worry John!"
"Yeah"
Daniel pats on his head.
"We will be fine. Don't stress yourself too alright??"
John hums with sense of comfort.
"Then let's save Angela's brother and show those commanders what we are!!!"
