Heavy pheromones filled the air inside the room and made it difficult to breathe. Ivan's hand on Daniel's shoulder felt like a chain he could not escape from.
"E-Excuse me… but can you please wait your turn? I was here first with my r-request."
The alpha from before interrupted Ivan and Daniel with his low whispering. His eyes moved from Daniel to Ivan and then back in quick succession before he decided that there was no need for him to worry.
Ivan currently had a mask on his face that hid everything but his eyes. But anyone who had seen him before could easily recognize him.
But apparently, the fool sitting in front of Daniel was not knowledgeable enough to do that… either that, or he was suicidal.
Whatever the case was, Daniel suddenly did not want to take this case, even for that huge amount of money. He could not afford to attract Ivan's attention toward him before he was done repaying his debt.
