Ray, Kyron and Leo were about to fall straight into the swamp below. For a brief moment it felt like everything was over. But at the last second, Ray and Kyron managed to regain their balance and quickly stepped back from the edge. Unfortunately, the other two members of their group were not that lucky. They had already fallen into the swamp.
Even after his trap failed, Ethan didn't look angry at all. Instead, he let out a small laugh and said calmly,
"I have to admit… I spent a lot of time planning this idea. I thought it would work perfectly. But it failed. Well… no problem."
As soon as he finished speaking, Ethan's group slowly surrounded them from all sides.
The situation suddenly became very dangerous.
Kyron looked around carefully and then said in a serious voice that fighting them right now wouldn't be a good idea. Before anyone could react, Kyron used one of his spells. Once they were safe for the moment, they decided to stop and make a proper plan.
Ray was the first one to speak.
"First, we need to take back the headbands of our teammates," Ray said while thinking seriously.
Kyron nodded in agreement. "Yes, we definitely need to get them back."
After thinking for a moment, Ray suddenly came up with an idea.
"We can do one thing," Ray said. "The three of us can split up and fight different teams. When we get tired or close to losing, we'll regroup again."
Kyron frowned slightly. Fighting three different teams alone sounded very difficult. For a moment he stayed silent, thinking carefully.
But then another thought appeared in his mind.
"If I allow them to do this… I'll finally see their real abilities," Kyron thought. "And this isn't a battle to the death. They won't die."

After traveling for a while, Leo finally reached the area where Mira's group was.

"You came here alone?" she said with surprise in her voice. "How can you be this careless?"
Her teammates immediately moved and surrounded Leo from all sides.
But before they could attack, Mira raised her hand.
"No," she said calmly. "I'll fight him alone. I want to see Kyron's choice."
The moment Leo heard the word "choice," a strange thought crossed his mind for a second.
"Wait… does Kyron have some kind of interest in guys?" Leo thought for a brief moment.
But he quickly shook his head and focused again on the battle.
Suddenly, Mira attacked.
Using her Ice Magic, she created several sharp ice shards and fired them directly toward Leo. The shards cut through the air with incredible speed.
But Leo moved calmly and dodged every single one of them effortlessly.
Seeing that, Mira's eyes showed a small hint of interest.
"You dodged my magic shards," she said. "I'm impressed… but not that impressed."
At that moment, Mira released her aura.
A cold wave spread across the battlefield instantly. The entire ground began freezing rapidly as thick layers of ice covered the area.
Now the battlefield had turned into a slippery field of ice.
Leo's feet began sliding slightly on the frozen ground, making it harder for him to maintain his balance.

A sword flashed past his ear.
Leo barely moved his head in time. The blade passed so close that he could almost feel the cold edge brushing past his skin.
If he had reacted even a second later, his ear would have been cut off.
Meanwhile, Ray had moved toward the area where Ryan's team was.
Before Ray could even approach properly, one of Ryan's teammates suddenly attacked him.
Ray calmly stepped back and dodged the attack with ease.
"Are you from Ryan's team?" Ray asked.
"Yes," the boy replied confidently.
The moment Ray heard that answer, his expression became serious.
In the next second, Ray suddenly appeared right in front of the boy with incredible speed and punched him directly in the face.
The boy was about to fall down, but Ray didn't even give him the chance. He immediately followed it up with a kick and then started throwing multiple punches.
Within seconds, the boy collapsed unconscious.
Ray took the boy's headband.
But suddenly Ray felt something strange.
His instincts warned him that danger was coming.
Two more enemies were attacking him from both sides.
Ray remained calm.
He prepared to use his Fire Magic to attack both of them, but the two opponents sensed it and quickly moved away to avoid the flames.
"I want to fight Ryan," Ray said coldly.
One of them replied, "Ryan already went to fight Mira."
Hearing that, Ray felt slightly worried about Leo.
