Chapter 25 - Lunch, Nakano Itsuki

Glancing at the ring on his finger, Luo Yu smiled and said,

"Why don't you guess?"

With that, he put on his jacket and became the first to walk out of the locker room.

Inside, the boys looked at each other and immediately started whispering.

"I'm telling you—he definitely has a girlfriend!"

"Absolutely!"

Of course, Luo Yu heard none of this. After leaving the locker room, he returned to the classroom, picked up his lunchbox, and when the bell rang, he headed off to find a place to eat.

Today, he didn't plan to invite Miko Yotsuya to lunch.

After all, she usually spent time with her close friend Hana Yurikawa, and the two were together most of the time. If he kept asking Miko Yotsuya to eat with him, Hana Yurikawa would definitely notice something unusual.

And Hana Yurikawa still didn't know about Miko Yotsuya's spiritual sight.

As for where to eat—

Naturally, the rooftop.

When Luo Yu pushed open the rooftop door, no one else had arrived yet. In a good mood, he sat down on a bench, opened his lunchbox, and began eating.

While eating, he also took out his phone and opened an app to browse various exorcism commission requests.

The cursed spirit elimination task in the forest outside the city—the one he had noticed earlier—had already been accepted and completed.

So there was no reason for him to go there anymore today.

Most of the remaining tasks involved low-level cursed spirits, usually Grade 3 or Grade 4, with the occasional Grade 2.

As for Grade 1 cursed spirits, they were already somewhat troublesome for independent sorcerers to handle, so those missions were typically assigned directly by the sorcerer association.

And then there were Special Grade cursed spirits.

Those were monsters that ordinary people almost never encountered. Even Luo Yu had yet to see one in this world.

"I wonder when I'll finally encounter a Special Grade cursed spirit," he thought. "And I have no idea when the story of Jujutsu Kaisen will actually begin. Once it starts, enemies like Sukuna should appear."

He was genuinely curious.

With his current strength—well over level 500—his abilities had already undergone a qualitative transformation.

For example, his 99 Intelligence stat was definitely no longer limited to that numerical value. It had continued to improve naturally through practice. The same applied to his other attributes.

After all, this wasn't a game.

This was real power, and real power could continue to grow.

However, the Domain Expansion techniques used by Special Grade sorcerers and cursed spirits could still be troublesome.

"Well, no rush," Luo Yu thought. "I'll know once I fight one."

"And besides, I'm not alone. If things get difficult, Ranni and I can just fight together. And I haven't even used Spirit Ashes yet. My old companions haven't appeared in a long time."

During his exploration of The Lands Between, Luo Yu had naturally collected many Spirit Ashes used to summon allies in battle. Many of them had even been upgraded to their maximum level.

Not just the Mimic Tear—there were numerous legendary or unique Spirit Ashes, each with special abilities that could help him deal with different situations.

Thinking about these Spirit Ashes, Luo Yu rubbed his chin thoughtfully.

Suddenly, a bold idea formed in his mind.

"Domain Expansion… Spirit Ashes… Reality Marble…"

"Could I create a unique spell of my own? A special space similar to Domain Expansion where I can freely summon all my Spirit Ashes without cost and fight together with them?"

He nodded to himself.

"I should discuss this with Ranni later."

Closing the app on his phone, Luo Yu looked toward the rooftop entrance.

At that moment, a girl stepped cautiously onto the rooftop.

She had red hair, blue eyes, and star-shaped hairpins clipped to both sides of her hair. Her figure was well-developed, and her appearance was cute and lively.

"Oh… someone's already here!"

Seeing Luo Yu sitting on the bench, the girl immediately became flustered and hurriedly hid the two bags she was holding behind her back.

Luo Yu glanced at her and said calmly,

"You're Nakano Itsuki, right? If you don't mind, there's still space here. I'll be finished eating soon."

"Ah, that's not what I meant. I just didn't expect anyone to be here."

After confirming that Luo Yu was the handsome boy Nino had mentioned before, Nakano Itsuki shook her head and walked over to sit on the bench.

"Hello, I'm Nakano Itsuki from Class 1-D. You know me? Most people can't tell the five of us apart."

"Nice to meet you. I'm Luo Yu from Class 1-A," Luo Yu replied with a smile.

"You and your sisters caused quite a sensation on the first day of school. The boys in my class have already talked about the five of you. It would be hard not to know. As for telling you apart—I'd say my observation skills are fairly good. Besides, your hairstyles and hair accessories are all different, aren't they?"

"Hehe, that's true."

Nakano Itsuki laughed innocently and took out her lunchbox.

Just as she was about to begin eating, she noticed the small amount of food left in Luo Yu's lunchbox.

The aroma drifted toward her, and she instinctively swallowed.

Even though there wasn't much left, Nakano Itsuki—who had eaten plenty of delicious food before—could immediately tell that the food in Luo Yu's lunchbox must be extremely tasty.

Unfortunately, Luo Yu was a boy, and this was their first meeting.

Even though she loved food, she wasn't bold enough to ask for a taste.

So she simply opened her own lunchbox and began eating.

Fortunately, the lunch Nino had prepared was also delicious, quickly lifting her mood.

Seeing Nakano Itsuki eating, Luo Yu asked casually,

"I remember seeing the five of you going to the cafeteria together before. Why are you eating here alone today?"

Swallowing the rice in her mouth, Nakano Itsuki explained,

"Ichika and Nino usually eat with girls from their classes. Miku stayed in the classroom today. Yotsuba went to the track and field club and is eating there. So… I ended up by myself."

As she spoke, she angrily picked up a slice of meat and stuffed it into her mouth, clearly dissatisfied with her sisters.

Luo Yu chuckled.

"Then why not eat with your classmates?"

"Uh…"

Nakano Itsuki's face immediately turned red.

Trying to hide the second bag beside her, she said quietly,

"My appetite is… a bit big. I was afraid people might talk about it, so I didn't accept the invitation from the girls in my class."

Even though she tried to hide it with her body, Luo Yu had already seen what was inside earlier.

Several meat buns and rice balls.

A full collection of carbohydrates.

Finishing the last bite of rice in his lunchbox, Luo Yu smiled.

"Eating a lot is normal. It just means you have a good appetite. At your age, eating more helps you grow better."

"I'm done eating. Take your time, Nakano."

"See you later."

"Ah—goodbye!"

Watching Luo Yu leave, Nakano Itsuki placed a piece of potato into her mouth and chewed thoughtfully.

"Luo Yu is actually a really nice person."

"Hmm… should I tell Nino about this? She seemed pretty interested in him."
