Chapter 7 - 7. Jealousy Ruined Everything

After Myra forbade Chahat from attending any of her wedding functions, Chahat quietly decided that she would respect her decision.

But Aarav was not happy with this.

"I won't marry Myra if she treats you like this," he said firmly.

Hearing this, Chahat immediately tried to stop him.

"Please, Aarav… don't ruin your relationship because of me. I would never forgive myself if that happened."

Without waiting for another response, Chahat quietly left.

But tears were already filling her eyes.

When she reached home, she went straight to her room, lay down on her bed, and finally burst into tears.

She blamed herself for everything.

"Because of me, Myra's special day got ruined… I only wanted everything to be perfect for her," she whispered while crying.

The next day was Myra's Mehendi ceremony.

The venue looked beautiful.

Bright lights decorated the place, soft music was playing, and the whole atmosphere was filled with joy.

Everyone was wearing green outfits according to the Mehendi theme.

All the guests had arrived…

Except Chahat.

Aarav was also present, but he was still upset with Myra because of the way she had treated Chahat.

Myra's hands were decorated with beautiful designer mehendi, and somewhere within the intricate design, Aarav's name was hidden.

Excitedly, she walked towards Aarav and showed him her hands.

"Find your name," she said playfully.

Just then, a group of children playing nearby accidentally pushed Myra.

Her hands moved suddenly, and her mehendi got smudged.

The hidden name of Aarav disappeared.

Seeing this, anger filled Myra's eyes.

"What have you done?!" she shouted at the children.

"This was designer mehendi! It was so expensive, and you ruined it!"

Aarav looked disappointed.

"They're just kids, Myra. Getting angry won't fix your mehendi," he said calmly.

Then he added,

"You're not the Myra I once loved. Your success has really gone to your head."

Hearing this, Myra angrily walked away.

When she reached home, she entered her room in frustration.

In anger, she began throwing things around the room — her bangles, accessories, and whatever she was wearing.

Suddenly, an old photo album fell on the floor.

Her attention shifted toward it.

She slowly sat down and opened the album.

Inside were memories of her childhood with Chahat.

One picture showed them playing together when Myra was five and Chahat was four.

Another photo showed them happily eating ice cream.

There were pictures of them studying together, laughing together, and sharing their happiest moments.

As Myra kept turning the pages, tears slowly filled her eyes.

For the first time, she began realizing her mistake.

She felt guilty for what she had done to Chahat during the Sangeet function.

Regret slowly filled her heart.

Will Myra and Chahat ever become good friends again?

And will Chahat forgive Myra for what happened that day?

To find out…

Stay tuned to the story.
