Chapter 10 - 10. When the Truth Came Out

Myra went to participate in the Miss India contest, where she met a famous producer who had earlier called her.

After seeing her confidence and personality, the producer decided to give her a wild card entry in the competition.

When Myra heard this, she was surprised.

"But sir, you told me that I only needed to sign the agreement and then I could return to my wedding," Myra said.

The producer replied calmly,

"Yes, I did say that. But we just found out that the contest needs a wild card entry, and you seem perfect for it."

For a moment, Myra stayed silent.

But she couldn't compromise with her career and dreams.

Becoming Miss India had been her childhood dream.

So she decided to participate in the contest.

When Myra stepped onto the stage, she was stunned.

There was a huge crowd, bright lights everywhere, and energetic music playing in the background.

People in the audience started cheering loudly.

"Myra! Myra! Myra!"

Hearing the crowd shout her name boosted her confidence.

In that moment, she completely forgot that it was supposed to be the day of her wedding, and that she had left Chahat sitting in the wedding mandap in her place.

With full confidence, Myra began her model walk on the stage.

Her walk was so graceful and powerful that everyone instantly became her fan.

After several rounds of auditions, Myra reached the top contestants of Miss India.

Soon after, the producers made a big announcement.

The next stage of the show would be shot in Paris.

Myra and the other contestants were taken there for the competition.

On the other hand…

At Aarav's house, Chahat's Grah Pravesh ceremony was taking place.

Aarav's mother welcomed the newly married couple by performing their aarti.

Then Chahat gently kicked the kalash filled with rice with her right foot and entered the house.

After that, she dipped her feet in red alta and walked inside, leaving beautiful footprints on the floor.

She had officially entered the house as the new bride.

Soon, the wedding games began.

The first ritual was finding the ring.

A large bowl was filled with milk and rose petals, and a ring was dropped into it.

The bride and groom had to search for the ring together.

According to tradition, whoever finds the ring first will rule the house.

But Chahat was extremely nervous.

She was still in shock that she had accidentally married Aarav instead of Myra.

Meanwhile, the family members began cheering.

Aarav's father, elder brother, and uncles jokingly said,

"Aarav, don't let us lose our pride!"

On the other side, the women of the family—Aarav's mother, sister, aunt, and sister-in-law—were proudly supporting the bride.

"Our daughter-in-law will win!" they said confidently.

The competition began.

Both Aarav and Chahat dipped their hands into the bowl.

Soon, Aarav found the ring.

But since he believed he was still marrying Myra, the girl he loved, he smiled and gently slipped the ring into Chahat's hand.

When Chahat pulled her hand out of the milk, she was shocked to see the ring in her hand.

The women of the family cheered happily.

The new bride had won the ritual.

Now it was time for the most important ritual.

It was time for the face reveal ceremony, where the women of the house would see the bride's face for the first time. All the women of the house gathered to see the bride's face.

Under the veil, Chahat's heart was beating rapidly.

Her hands started trembling.

Noticing her nervousness, Aarav held her hand softly.

"Don't worry," he whispered.

"Everything will be fine."

But Chahat knew the truth.

Everything was about to change.

Aarav's mother slowly walked toward the bride.

Step by step, she came closer.

Chahat felt as if her soul was leaving her body.

Finally, Aarav's mother reached her.

She slowly lifted the veil.

And then…

The truth was revealed.

The moment everyone saw Chahat instead of Myra, the entire room fell into stunned silence.

Even Aarav felt as if the ground had slipped beneath his feet.

He was completely speechless.

Aarav's mother looked at Chahat in shock and asked loudly,

"Will you explain what is going on here? Where is Myra?"

With trembling hands and a frightened voice, Chahat told everyone what had happened before the wedding.

She explained about the call from the producer and how Myra had asked her to sit in the mandap just for a short time.

But Myra never returned.

And before she realized it…

The entire wedding had been completed.

The house was now filled with tension and silence.

There was no way to undo the marriage.

Whether they liked it or not, Chahat had become the daughter-in-law of the house.

Meanwhile, Myra's parents and Chahat's family had also learned the truth.

Both families were extremely angry.

In fact, Chahat's parents were so upset that they refused to accept her anymore.

On the other hand, Aarav's family eventually accepted Chahat as their daughter-in-law.

But Aarav…

He was not ready to accept this reality.

His heart was still filled with love for Myra.

He wanted to talk to her.

He wanted to ask her just one question.

What was missing in my love that your career became more important than our relationship?

Now the biggest question remained…

Will Aarav ever be able to accept Chahat as his wife?
